First cut I received from Sunn is spot on, showed her a picture of what I wanted and it was a perfect cut, 1st time go.

Lived in the area for 6 years, never thought about coming here until I needed a last minute saving grace. I previously had a silver gray color that I had eventually washed out leaving my hair super brassy on the top. I decided that I was going to go for an ash brown for low maintenance. When I went in and showed her what I was going for she knew immediately that I really didn't want to resort to brown. I did tell her I wanted dark gray but with past experience no one was able to achieve it. I showed her a picture and she suggested me to let her try to get to that color at her starting price. If I'm not satisfied we'll change it the 2nd session. I decided to give the gray color one more chance. And to my surprise, she was able to mix the perfect color. Pictures does not justify the actual ashy gray color. Walked out super satisfied especially at such a great price! read more

I don't even know what to say other than worst haircut of my life! I showed her a picture of a cute pixie cut with swooping bangs and what I walked out with was an old man buzz cut with a combover. I've stewed for a couple days, trying to come to terms with this terrible haircut and there is nothing fixable other than letting it grow out and kicking myself for even trying this place. I've ordered a wig, the cut is just that bad. And it's so short any attempt to fix it would end in basically shaving my head. Worst cut of my life and I've had a couple of doozies in the past. Spend your money elsewhere. I took my daughter here to get a hair cut and it was by far the worst experience ever. This lady took less than 3 minutes to cut my daughter's hair. I asked for layers and my daughter's hair is NOT layered. I even had a picture of how I wanted my daughter's hair to be. All she did was tie my daughter's hair in a pony tail, grab a buzzer, and buzzed off the pony tail. I could've done that at home, saved myself time, gas, and $20. read more

This place really deserves no stars. I only came here because of all the good reviews. This is the worst place to get your hair colored if you're looking to get some coloring done. I have dark brown hair and asked to see if they can do an balayage ombré (I didn't want it super blonde or anything because I know darker hair usually take longer to process, I just wanted it to have some blonde shade.) After asking the lady and showing her the picture she said she could do it even with the type of condition my hair was and it was going to take two process of bleach to get it done. (My hair wasn't in the best shape as well.) She suggested that I get a trim, I agreed to a trim once the coloring was finished. 5 hours later my hair looked horrible. It was a brassy orange color and she didn't even do the second process like she said. I told her and she said she could not get my hair to blonde because my hair is so dark. I mentioned to her and told her I only agreed to do my hair because she said she could do it like how I wanted it. She tried to blame that my hair color was too dark. The lady stated that after she trim my hair it will look better. She did not trim my hair, she cut like 4 inches off my hair and gave me some ugly layers. I told her I will not pay $120 for some patchy orange hair. I told her that my hair looked nothing like how I wanted it and I refused to pay. She then said I made an agreement that's why they colored my hair and they took their time to do my hair. (Like I mentioned before I only agreed to get my hair done because she was confident that she could get it right.) Pretty much she argued that my hair looks exactly like the picture, I'm just looking at it from a different angle. Clearly the lady who runs this shop doesn't care about what her customers want. She only does it the way she wants to do it. So if you're looking for hair coloring, go somewhere else because they will ruin your hair and not care to fix it or try to blame it that your hair color isn't right that's why they couldn't get the color right. My daughter started going to Sunn Salon afew years ago. She has thick long hair. Sunn cut it into a style that flatters her so now Sunn does my granddaughters and my hair. She also does great fades for my grandsons. The greatest thing is that Sunn listens to you when you tell her what you want. She's quick, friendly and isn't over priced.
