When my family was embarking on a cruise from Fort Lauderdale, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to introduce my own kids to the Jungle Queen. It's a short boat ride that takes you through the canals behind the mansions and quasi-famous homes on the water. Your guide on board will tell you about the homes and landmarks you pass en route. There is a bar on board, so no need to sail sober! LOL There are also a few snacks for purchase. The air movement on the boat keeps you from getting too warm, even when the sun is blazing, but don't forget your sunscreen. There's no bad seat aboard. All in all, it's a nice little boat ride if you're looking to get outside and burn some time in Fort Lauderdale. There is a string of food shops along the waterfront outside the entrance, so you can plan to grab lunch or dinner before or after your ride. We really enjoyed our trip, but I'm deducting one star due to the boat traffic (which I know they cannot really help). Maneuvering around all the other drunks in their watercraft was kind of a drag.

Then you were able to walk around the island birds a few animals jungle vibe. Than back on the boat for a ride back. Food was chicken which was tender and tasty. Ribs that feel off the bone with extra bbq sauce. Corn bread coleslaw.

The boat was very crowded with not enough seats for everyone and people were falling all over the place. The water was very choppy and not a good time for beginner snorkelers to be out there. You had to swim very far away from the boat to see anything and my group was too scared for that so we didn't see anything in the water. I ended up with a big bruise on my calf from trying to climb the ladder out of the water with flippers on. They should have warned us about that, to take them off first.

Captain Mark and his crew took us fishing and snorkeling at multiple locations around the north and south islands of Bimini as well as adjacent uninhabited islands. We were in the water with friendly stingrays, sharks and turtles. We saw sunken ships and the Bimini Road which is part of the legend of Atlantis! The seats are so comfortable and the coolers and ice are built into the bar in front of you so you never have to get up. They have charging stations with usb ports and cords. You can charge your phone so you will never miss a photo opportunity. They supply music or you can plug in your own play list. The bathroom on board is definitely better than a port a john. It's clean, comfortable, and has a flushing toilet. The boat has a canopy to help block some of the sun on hot days. The captain and all the owners we encountered were extremely nice and accomedating. The lake was beautiful. We did the 3 hour cruise for a bachelorette party. What was nice about this boat is when you got tired or just didn't feel like peddling they have a motor to take over for you. When your done with the cruise they shuttle you back to your car. The whole experience was very well planned out and ran smoothly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time on the lake. You will not be disappointed.
