This is such a fun tour to take whether you're visiting LA for the first time, or been here for years and just want to experience something completely new and adventurous! We went through Burbank (though there are various different tours to take) and saw Griffith Park, The Gene Autry Museum, Forest Lawn Cemetery, and Warner Brothers studios! They're super knowledgeable of every location and learning about it was super fun. Our guides were fantastic! We're a couple of grown ups but got to act like kids for the morning on the Sunrise Tour. Our guides' welcoming positivity was infectious, and a much needed energy boost at 5AM! Driving the scooters couldn't be easier - all you have to do is follow the leader, you don't have to worry about traffic and we felt very safe the entire time. It's really quite thrilling to drive through those beautiful streets on a little scooter, before the rest of the world is awake, the sun rising as you go. If you're going on a sunrise tour, don't be afraid to layer up - we thought ski jackets would be overkill but they were not. They also provided us with a blanket. I also recommend a scarf and glasses to help with the wind in your face, they made me a lot more comfortable. Once we were up at the observatory, they took us on a short walk to point out some landmarks, take photos, and share fun facts and history, then gave us time to wander around Griffith on our own before revealing a beautiful breakfast spread on a picnic table all to ourselves. We had about 30 minutes of alone time to enjoy the food and the view, before they came back to clean up for us and head back down the hill. It truly felt like we were the king and queen of Griffith that morning, it was such an indulgence to be spoiled like that. Sunny Day Scoot really take care of everything, all you have to do is enjoy yourself and have fun! We've lived in LA for years and have never had an experience like this here - it's certainly not just an activity for tourists. They're very informative and knowledgeable about the area itself while giving the tour. They had great inviting and welcoming attitudes throughout the entire tour. Great way to celebrate my niece's sweet 16 birthday!! My niece and nephew were thrilled to pieces riding in these cute mini cars. We all had such a wonderful time, and it made for a memorable birthday, and mini adventure highlighting some of the most fun and interesting sites in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area. It was really fun acting like a tourist in a city where we all grew up. Our tour guides, Mike and Kim, made it an awesome experience with their energetic personalities, knowledge of the sites, fun facts, and great following of traffic safety guidelines. They put us at ease and provided detailed tutorials of the mini scooter right from the start. I felt like a pro driver only after a couple of minutes driving! Their expertise is greatly appreciated, to say the least. Also, so glad to have purchased the picture package. SUNNY DAY SCOOT! The brainchildren behind this, Mike and Amy, are pure genius'! If you are a local or a tourist, this IS the new wave of how you see the hidden views and spots in Los Angeles. Prior to arrival, I was sent a confirmation email telling me all the details I needed to know about when my tour was, what to bring, where to meet, the type of tour I was going to be going on that got me so pumped for my scoot session! As I arrived along with my friend Alex, we saw the scoots and Amy and Mike were there to greet us, jolly and just as excited as we both were, which is fantastic to have as I can tell alot of tour bus drivers are not as estactic as the guests, so that in itself was a breath of fresh air :) We got a run down of how to operate the one of a kind scoots, and some safety tips, and OFF we went!!! On the road along with the cars, we felt like we had the latest and greatest futuristic mobiles I had ever seen! They are so simple to learn, anyone can drive one. The tour we took was the Red Carpet, and having been to Griffith MANY times, I was taken to places I had never been. Old Zoo and to Canyon Drive where the Bat caves are. Getting in and out of the scoots was a great balance - some time walking and going up some mountains, discovering where bears used to be captive and where Disney grabbed a lot of inspiration. Riding these scoots in addition to the tour itself was a perfect blend. They are real people who enjoy taking guests to great locations, learning inside stories that are memorable and fun for all. I will recommend to all my guests at my hotel, as well as family and friends. I cannot wait to do the Sunrise Scoot and the Night tour coming in the Summer. Have a spare 3 hours? I was looking for something fun and new to do for my boyfriend's birthday so I turned to Yelp. I noticed Sunnyday Scoot had exceptional reviews, so I did a little research on their website. I loved the idea of driving around in a little scooter/car, so I booked the Adventure Tour. My boyfriend and I were the only ones there during the time slot, so it felt like a private tour! We both had a really great time. We have the tour guides to thank for that. They were knowledgeable about the city's history (and they were funny as well). My son and I had awesome August weather and a wonderful tour with Sunny Day Scoot. We scheduled our tour during the middle of the week and we had our own private tour guide. It is the best way to explore Griffith Park and we were able to take our time at every stop. While my favorite part was the tours, my son enjoyed zipping through the streets.
