​Gravity Heights saved the day with available seating for Father's Day dinner! ​We arrived around 5:30 PM and had the option of happy hour or regular seating. We chose happy hour since they have such a great HH menu! Everything looked good on the regular menu as well, but we went with the HH food and kids' meals. We enjoyed two orders of the cauliflower, the cheese pizza, and the smash burger with fries--all of them were so well done! ​Our kids wanted the mac and cheese with fruit (which came with fresh blueberries and blackberries), and my one year old had that plus a side of snap peas and carrots. Both kids loved their food and even had enough left over for dinner the following day. We also tried the "Kiwi Be Friends" drink, which was delicious! ​Service was fantastic. Amelia was upbeat, attentive, and even checked in with us before happy hour ended to see if we wanted to order anything else. I was so grateful for the friendly reminder! ​I completely see why it's called a beer garden--it is beautiful. I loved the decor, the greenery, and the covered patio with turf, picnic tables, fans, and both table and ceiling heaters. The furniture and the bar... I loved it all! The designer really took their time and did a wonderful job planning it out. ​As a quick heads-up on the layout, the bathrooms are gender-neutral. I came here with a large group for work. We reserved the two fire pit tables outside. It is a great place to bring a group and to be able to mingle. You order at the register, and they bring the dishes out to you. We got so many things and I didn't get photos of it all. The potato pierogis were a hit! So so good! Came here after work with coworkers and was seated in the outdoor area because we had a large party. I got a few cocktails Guava Afterglow- nice guava flavor without being overly sweet. A nice tropical drink thats not over the top tropical. Brew-nana Buzz- Very delicious, what mostly caught my eye was Liquor 43 which i love and was the perfect mixture with espresso. The banana liquor was subtle but a nice addition. My coworker initially couldn't taste the banana, but i clearly tasted it. We got a few pizzas which were great, thin neapolitan style pizza but not soggy in the middle. Im not usually a fan of real Neapolitan style pizza cause they are ususally wet and soggy in the middle these were perfect! I like the Diablo pizza the best because it was quite spicy. The potato pierogi were nicely grilled on the flat top and had a nice crisp exterior texture and placed on a bed of dill sour cream. Very delicious! We also got it with the side of spicy kielbasa, it was also nicely charred and spicy a great addition to the pierogi. The mezze plate was also a big hit. Freshly baked pita, smooth and creamy hummus with some toppings and crispy falafel. The pita bread and hummus were really good, the hummus was also topped with lentels and tasty eggplant puree. Highly recommend this dish! The dirty fries came with freshly fried homemade fries, and topped with pulled pork. I thought this dish was just OK. i guess i prefer a drier meat not the wet BBQ pulled pork. But thats just me. Tuna Tosdada was also pretty good, crispy tortilla with seared albacore and avacado, the peanut salsa matcha added a lot to it. People loved the chicken tikka masala pot pie. The crust was nice and flakey. My coworkers loved it. It was too strong a flavor for me. When I usually eat it, there's a lot of buffer with the rice, with just the crust it was too strong for me. We got a few desserts, they were both excellent! The butterscotch budino was very smooth, the butterscotch pudding was tasty and the salted caramel took it over the top. I liked it mostly because of the caramel topping. Reminded me of frozen butter beer from Harry Potter at Universal studios. The cast iron cookie was most similar to the pazooki, a cookie cooked in a cast iron pan topped with vanilla gelato cookie crumbles and chocolate sauce. There's overflow parking in the lot but I just usually park on Camino De La Reina. They no longer add the 20% tip to larger parties, service was excellent and friendly. read more

Their menu is really small, but there's some decent options in there like the tiki masala chicken pot pie. I had a very nice lunch with a friend here. I ordered the Lemon Chicken Kale Salad for $21, and my friend ordered the white Wild Mushroom Pizza for $22. Our server "Hunter" offer good hospitality and service. She was friendly and had a good sense of humor. The lady at the front was also very nice. The chicken kale salad was very good. It was a little overly dressed with the sesame dressing but it sure was a tasty dressing. The salad came with tender chunks of chicken, a small amount of feta cheese, and zesty dill cucumbers, The avocado and radishes were nice, but I wish the salad came with more of the crispy chickpeas. They were great! I need to get a side of them next time. My friend stated his pizza was very good. He liked that the whole garlic cloves the pizza came with were roasted to a soft edible texture. We had a work club meeting here at Gravity Heights MV. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a smile, and welcomed. The hostesses were very customer service oriented and they showed me the area that our meeting would be taking place in. I was the second to arrive, but immediately I sat down and I appreciated that they had a 3 to 6 PM happy hour daily. The area that we sat in was around the fire pit, in the corner backyard patio, of the restaurant right in front of the patio bar outside. The ambience is alive and well. Everybody loves the vibe here. There are TVs playing sports games, today NBA & MLB. There were so many people here and it was nice. We were able to order our food and drinks and the food items all came out in very good time. The beverages were almost instantly ready, and the bartenders are on top of their game. Here in the outdoor patio, you walk up to the bar to place your orders. It's a great setup. Overall, as usual, this was an awesome visit. Food is always delicious and drinks are VERY WELL EXECUTED. I had to leave a review right away bc I was so impressed by this place. First of all, they are extremely dog friendly. The inside is gorgeous and there's a spot especially for dogs outside. This place is connected to an apartment complex surrounding retail stores. The leasing building is right next to Gravity Heights. I used to rent a 4k+ a month apartment in a retail area and let me tell you, its a hassle to find parking and not take a retail parking spot without having your complex email you everyday about your car potentially being towed lol! I understand this pain. Now that we are past that, let's get to why this place deserves 5 stars. The service is excellent! My server came around at the perfect times and they seem to really care if I enjoyed my meal! The stellar atmosphere with attentive service is enough for me! I got a gravity burger protein style which I dont think did the burger justice. I was going to eat with my husband later at a Vietnamese restaurant and I can only choose one carb for the day. My diabetic life is tough! Lol. I chose the Cesar salad to go with my burger. My burger was delicious bc of the caramelized onions. I didn't really taste a sauce in the burger but the excellent bacon with the much needed caramelized onions made the burger fantastic! The IPA hazy beer i had with my meal was also light and mellow. Great central location with an outside, boho MCM vibe. First let's talk about the staff. 12/10. The customer service, personability, attention to detail. Did I mention it's dog friendly and they all love dogs. They have a bar with seating, "inside" booths and a large outdoor area. I want to give a special shout out to Danny. As we were walking in I noticed the decor looked really nice and the ambience of the restaurant felt clean and modern. I don't even like matcha but the dish just worked so well together that the matcha didn't even bother me. My favorite part was the toasted almond slices which provided a great crunch to the soft salted brown sugar brioche. The diplomat cream and matcha dust also complimented the toasty bread in a way that wasn't too sweet. This place has the best happy hour! I came on a Monday and from the host, to the server, food runners, and bussers everyone was genuinely warm and welcoming. Just really great service all around. The baked oysters are my favorite thing on the menu. We also tried the cauliflower which was probably my second favorite item we tried, the birria quesadilla was tasty and loved that it wasn't as heavy as birria typically is. The chicken tinga tacos were also really tasty but probably the heaviest item out of what we ordered. There is two-hour retail parking available, but since it's in a shopping center it can fill up quickly. I originally wanted the Mexican Mocha, but was told it was pre-made so I couldn't substitute the whole milk. Instead, I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk and cold foam, and it was absolutely amazing. My partner got the fried chicken with biscuits and gravy, and it was delicious and served piping hot. I ordered the smoked brisket hash, which was really good as well. The brisket had great flavor, although it was a little sweeter than I personally prefer, more barbecue-style. My only small complaint was that the dish had a lot more egg than meat or veggies. Even so, it was still very tasty.We also shared an order of truffle fries, and those were amazing. We have been at tables and also the fire pits outside as we bring our dogs. They are all very kind and attentive. If you're at the fire pits, you can go up to the countertop on the left-hand side and order at the bar for a drink drinks and food. It's self serve plates and utensils as well. If you're sitting anywhere else they will bring everything to you like a normal sit down restaurant We love getting to try their specialty cocktails, and we've never disliked any of the food we've gotten. Pretty solid dinner place. Came here on a double date. At first glance I didn't see anything on the menu that I fell like love with. So I went to yelp to look at some dinner pictures. I ended up ordering the Porter Braised Short Ribs, which came with potato gratin and honey glazed carrots. It was excellent! I'm really glad I ordered that. My wife ordered the Diablo pizza with arugula. It was just ok. Nothing special. We also ordered the Potato Pierogi to share. It was also just ok. Gravity Heights is an awesome bar/restaurant for appetizing food and great drinks! I first came here almost a year ago for a Yelp Elite Event and more recently this past weekend. Parking was relatively easy with 2 hour spots out front. Terrific option for weekend happy hour specials! I tried their gin cocktails and they were unique and refreshing goodness. The modern ambiance and the outside patio is gorgeous and a bonus is how they have TV's which is perfect for sports enthusiasts. I had a lovely time at the location, the atmosphere is on point and they have great indoor, bar, and outdoor seating! The patio is dog friendly which I am a huge fan of, they will even bring out a water bowl for them. The bar has a huge TV for sports fans. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They were very through with asking and letting us know about allergens with in the foods. They also had a fantastic vegan option, and apparently they are always cooking up some more vegan creations to come to the menu in the future! Overall it's a cute date night place, fairly casual but the ambiance is elevated. Prices are on the higher side but the ingredients are high quality and fresh! read more

Great ambience for brunch! Location wise, they are luckily hidden from the nightmares of the Trader Joe's lot in Mission Valley and are towards the end of the plaza towards The Townsend apartments. Pistachio & Orange Donut Holes (5/5): Unique and fun dessert that can sneak its way into becoming a brunch item. The flavors are delicious together and come with a grand marnier French cream which wasn't overly sweet to dip the donut holes in. Fantastic!! Smoked Brisket Hash (3/5): Not my favorite hash I've had. The brisket definitely needed more fat to be trimmed, as a lot of the pieces were fatty. I didn't like the poblano pepper as much as it was all I tasted and made the dish a bit bland. Lemon Chicken and Kale Salad (5/5): Great flavor of the dill and creamy sesame dressing! The crispy chickpeas were delicious and made for a nice crunch topping, making it a little healthier. Great healthy option! Totally impressed by Gravity Heights for a brunch place in San Diego. I do think their strong suit is their lunch options, but I still enjoyed my experience. I would also prefer more of their own coffee creations on the menu as they only have hot drip and cold brew from Spill the Beans next door. They have kid menus as well and my friends brought their little ones and we were met with incredible service from the staff! read more

Brunch at Gravity Heights in Mission Valley really impressed me. The chicken biscuits and gravy were incredible -- rich, flavorful, and so good I nearly ate the plate itself! My husband ordered the brisket burger with fries and salad, which was also delicious. My 7 month old son was a fan of the scrambled eggs that were delicately scrambled on my meal. The service stood out too, from the warm welcome at the host stand to our friendly and attentive waitress. I'll admit my first visit here didn't win me over, but trying brunch completely changed my mind. The space is bright and airy with a relaxed weekend vibe, and it feels like the kind of place you can take your time enjoying a good meal. Between the atmosphere, service, and food, I'm glad I gave it another try because now it's on my brunch rotation. read more
