Honestly one of my favorite breweries I've been to. The vibe is super calm and local, not overcrowded or chaotic, which I really appreciate. The customer service stood out the most though (odie ) -- everyone was genuinely friendly and made us feel welcome without being over the top. You can tell they actually care about the experience, not just serving drinks. It's the kind of place you can relax, hang out, and actually enjoy your time. We went here after my goddaughter's graduation, and it was able to accommodate our group of 20 comfortably. The space was large, the vibe was lively, and the taps were definitely flowing. They offered a wide variety of food that worked well for families, making it an easy choice for big groups. I tried a couple of their ciders and really enjoyed them. This little hidden gem is located near Convoy tucked away near some industrial buildings. There's a good amount of parking in the back and a lot of street parking as well. It's a small restaurant with a handful of tables and high tops inside as well as some picnic tables outside. I went with a few friends after work but just missed happy hour which is M-F 2-4pm. There was one guy working pretty much the whole restaurant apart from the kitchen the whole time we were there. He took our order at the counter, brought our food out, bussed our plates, brought us beers, and closed our tab. He was efficient and never rushed us or gave us any attitude. My friends and I shared a bunch of different plates. One friend was vegetarian but had a good amount of options to choose from. The pretzel, fried pickles, and artichoke fritters were all so delicious and my favorite options we got. The fritters were light and fluffy and came with a lemony creamy sauce. We also got a few drinks. They have a good amount of options whether you want beer or wine. I had a few sips of the Clear Conditions Cucumber Lime which was like a low calorie, sugar free seltzer and it was so refreshing and light. At the end of the meal they brought out complimentary cookies which is always the perfect sweet treat after a meal! This might become our regular for after work get togethers! read more

We had a great experience at this brewery! It's relatively small with indoor and outdoor seating, and we sat outside. They have heaters outside in case it gets cold. The outdoor tables are in the parking lot, so while I wouldn't recommend letting your kids run around, I would still say it's kid-friendly. We had a 4 y/o with us and thankfully Ketch had an unofficial kids menu: chicken tenders, quesadilla, or sliders. All come with fries. For the adults, we ordered Brussels sprouts, potato skins, and sliders. They were all delicious, as were the beers!! The range of beers was great and every single one of them was done really well. The service was nice and the bartender even brought out a plate of cookies for us towards the end. We will definitely be visiting this brewery again. Might be a weird thing to mention but their bathroom (which your small child might also need to use twice) was impeccable! read more

This is a nice little brewery that's tucked behind Convoy, away from the busy spot. Good beer and good food. Service was spot on. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. Such a great spot tucked away in Kearny Mesa! We grabbed some fish tacos and some beers for lunch in the middle of the week and it was pretty busy. Went with some coworkers after work and the appetizers were delicious!! Wish I took a picture. Our favorite was the fried calamari and the rib bites! Meat was falling off the bone and idk what they put in the BBQ sauce but it was so addicting. The calamari was out of this world, I think it's my favorite I've ever had! Super affordable apps, and if you come during happy hour beer is pretty cheap! Employees were so nice, cracking jokes and checking up on us if we need anything else. Friendly brewery with some great beer options. This location offers both indoor and outdoor seating and they have a food menu too. When we went, the bartender even offered a sample to make sure we liked it before committing to a full pour. You can't go wrong with any of their beers, from IPAs to lagers and pilsners. They've won awards for multiple beers, so I initially went to try those, but their other ones also were really good. Why I hadn't stopped in here before, I don't know! Don't let the homeless people in the parking lot deter you. They kept to themselves. This brewery had a few beers I enjoyed and a few that my husband enjoyed. They serve food as well. We tried their cookies and at first glance, they don't look like anything special. Was visiting San Diego a couple weeks ago. My cousin and her friends are regulars here after their Pickle Ball Saturdays. Some delicious food for a tasty room I can see why they keep returning. Opted for a dry cider over beer. Their fish tacos were so good and generous portion. They give you chocolate chip cookies at the end of the meal apparently they were so good I forgot to take a photo. Generous serving, salmon cooked perfectly and still a bit warm, which combined with the greens, red onion, and avocado w/ Green Goddess dressing was the best I've ever had. I also got a soft pretzel to share for the table. Two warm, large pretzels with spicy cheese sauce: again best I've had in a restaurant. It was perfect. I had a tasty Savignon Blanc. The bf recommended this place after enjoying happy hour with another friend. We got there around 6 pm on a January Tuesday night and there were a few people there. There are several small tables and a longer table inside and a few tables outside. I would guess more tables would be added during the warmer months. They have a few food specials on a black board which looked good but I decided on the seafood combo which has calamari, battered fish and panko shrimp on top of fries. The bf got the all American burger and we shared. Everything was really good. The fry on the combo was great. The calamari was crisp and the right amount of chew. The fish was flaky and the shrimp were good too. Fries also had a good crisp. The burger was also well cooked and balanced with lettuce, tomato and some bacon. The Kamakura was recommended for this and it is a good pairing. It's a light and refreshing drink that I had a taster of. The bf's favorite beer of the evening was Hazy Conditions. He was quite impressed by the smell and taste. They also gave us some delicious chocolate chip cookies on the house which were also really good. Overall experience was great.
