An exterior door with two side lights, fiberglass with limited options was about $5,000 Our carpenter suggested that we swing by Cape Cod lumber. We talked with Eric. He knew what he was talking about. He has decades of experience and asked us what our "best case" door was. We gave him the particulars, he walked us through all of the options, until we had exactly what we wanted. Best part, it came in $1,100 less than HD & L. I thought it was going to be a higher price than the others. Highly recommend CCL & Eric, don't expect to pay more than the big stores. CCL has a great show room and vast experience with their team.

I bought a product there trim molding it split while I was cutting it and then the next one split. Ok I return it to the store because they must stand behind their products. I said Home Depot and Lowe's stand behind their product...a smart ads Indian or Pakistani guy was mocking me whilst telling me never in his 18 years did they take a defective product back. I asked to speak with the manager after having me wait 34 minutes the guy Keith Davis said because I cut they won't return it....if it was not for me cutting it I would not have known it was defective. I said I would complain to the state apparently others have said that and this Keith Davis there is no recourse. Spend a little extra and go to a reputable place like a lumber yard Home Depot or Lowe's. I am out $36 but they are out a customer because I had planned to buy 3 solid wood pre hung doors because I was happy with the other ones I bought...I like saving $$$ but nothing is worth shopping there.

They delivered soaking wet interior bead board and trim soaking not once but twice. I helped the driver reload the first delivery. Our salesperson did not inform when delivery times would be - the first came at 6 AM. We were not awake and the driver is texting to us. Unpleasant. The salesperson did not proactively notify of when successive deliveries would be made nor did they apologize for our many inconveniences over a week's time. This includes holding up the start of the job by our contractor. No apologies, no offer of a credit - a very rough ordeal for trying to patronize a local merchant. Maybe contractors are served better than retail residents?

As a 27 year resident of Mansfield, I've purchased a variety of products from Kirley's. "Back in…read morethe day", stone dust, red brick pavers...masonry stuff. A number of years ago they transformed their dark old office into a nice bright space in order to showcase their pellet stove business. I purchased one of their top of the line stoves about 5 years ago, and run it from October to April. 24 hours a day. On a recent visit, I told them I was having a strange issue with the stove. They told me it was covered under warrantee. The guys came to my house, took the stove to the shop, made the repairs (and a few tweeks) and returned the next day to reinstall. It's back in place, ready to burn! You will not get this service from a big box store.
