I made my first trip to AJT Supplies a few days ago, and I had such a great time there. Truly. I realize that it may seem odd to write that. Nevertheless, it's true. I decided on AJT because I saw on their website that they sell irregular flagstone by the piece, which I've been looking for. They had a ton to choose from in a variety of colors, and I was helped by the coolest dude who maneuvered the tricky pieces so I could check out some I couldn't get to on my own. He showed me a couple pieces he thought were interesting then loaded all I'd chosen to purchase into my car, some of which he'd shown me, as I paid inside. While I was there Kailey, who I've decided is the queen of AJT Supplies, also helped me with every aspect of selecting 3/4" river rock for my new garden project, which I will be ordering bright and early tomorrow. Incredibly disappointed with our rental. Low prices are advertised for bounce houses but prices end up being quickly risen with delivery and gas surcharges making it comparable to other bounce house rentals. I understand normal wear and tear is normal, but there was a big hole in the roof on one side, and other parts of our bounce house were so worn you could see through the material. The only thing they offered to do for us was offer a $100 credit on our next rental from them. We will never use them again. Quality was beyond poor. I do not recommend at all. Spend a tiny bit more to go with reputable company with pride in their product. Never ever again renting from AJT. Absolutely embarrassing read more

The "kiln-dried" firewood I received was certainly NOT kiln-dried, even though the representative on the phone said "sorry for the delay in delivery, but they had to put your order back in the kiln to dry it more...". Three weeks later: I wouldn't expect kiln-dried wood to have soft, fresh moss on it, but that's what I got. And "customer service" is absolutely useless, saying, "oh, just bring it inside and it will dry out... it's been in the cold." I'm done with AJT (after two years of deliveries), and recommend you avoid them for firewood. read more

I did the work and was expected to be paid, most of the money was paid, but after several attempt of contacting the owner, he reads my messages, i ask for final payment, he says he will send over but no payment arrives, broken promises over and over. AJT - JAPAN - 7 DAYS JULY 2025 Absolutely 5 stars. First of all, Kyoshi was very responsive and knowledgeable during planning process. Then, Shu, our guide, was THE BEST!!!! His English was perfect and he was a terrific guide. For our family of 13 (12 plus baby), he accommodated our every need and desire. Some wanted to find specific watch shops, some yarn, some hibachi dining, and he made it all happen. He skipped the things we wanted to skip, shortened tours when we were too exhausted and one day he bought a fan for all of us due to oppressive heat. He even helped some of our group go to a baseball game! He facilitated our ordering meals (no small feat in Japan, since we have dietary restrictions, no pork or shellfish), took us for rice bowl, ramen and sushi. If you want to work with this supplier of landscape materials and you want a company that sends the wrong product 2 years in a row and whose owner does not return calls or make the issues right then AJT is the place for you. Last year instead of the screened loam that I ordered they sent something else that did not do the job wasting my time and labor and money as well as all of the seed that I planted. This year instead of the screened loam that I ordered, they also sent junk dirt FULL of rocks - like 20% - also wasting my time and labor and money as well as all of the seed that I planted. They deleted my original review from 2023. In short I ordered wood, and the product online said it was seasoned and ready to burn. it was delivered and it didn't burn ended up spending more money because we had to use the electric since the wood wasn't dry and wouldn't burn. Don't order firewood from them. read more

We ordered 2 tons of masonry sand from AJT Supplies to form the bottom of an above ground pool. I know that gas prices are high - hence the fuel surcharge - however the delivery cost was $90 (not including the $20 surcharge) to deliver around $80 worth of product. Still, I agreed and paid because we needed it and again, I get that gas and supply prices are high right now. The product was delivered quickly and dropped off exactly where we requested. That was great. When we started moving the sand to the area where we needed it, though, we noticed that it was full of stones. A little mulch as well but I know that was probably just leftover in the truck from another delivery. A few stones I could deal with. We spent the better part of the morning picking out rocks from the sand because there were many! We purposely chose masonry sand because it's the best choice for the bottom of a pool. It was extremely disappointing to receive a subpar product after paying so much for it to be brought here. read more
