The first thing I appreciated was the parking. They have their own lot, so finding a space was easy--a huge bonus compared to many Seattle cafés where parking can be a challenge. As you walk in, you'll see shelves displaying their freshly baked breads and pastries, making it easy to browse before ordering. If you look to the left, there's also a viewing window where you can catch a glimpse of the bakery production behind the scenes, which adds a fun touch to the experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and never made me feel rushed. Instead of asking repeatedly if I was ready, they simply let me take my time and came over when I was ready to order. I really appreciated that. I'm the type of person who takes a while to make very serious food decisions, so the no-pressure service made the experience even more enjoyable. One thing that surprised me was that the café wasn't filled with the strong aroma of coffee or freshly baked bread like many bakeries are. Don't let that fool you, though--the bread was incredible. I ordered the Bialy Egg Sandwich, and the bread was soft with a wonderful chewy texture while still having a nice crust on the outside. The egg was cooked with a perfectly runny yolk, which made every bite rich and satisfying. If you prefer your eggs fully cooked, I'd recommend asking when you order. I paired it with a coffee that leaned toward the bright, slightly acidic side. It complemented the sandwich well, although my personal preference is for coffee with more chocolatey, earthy notes. That's purely a matter of taste, not quality--I can definitely see why others would enjoy their roast. One thing to note is that pets aren't allowed inside the café, so plan accordingly if you're bringing your furry friend. But they do sell dog biscuits and you can enjoy the outdoor space with your furry friend after ordered. - which is a bit confusing to me Just keep in mind that they're only open on weekdays and close around 2 p.m., so it's definitely an early bird kind of place. I'd happily come back again--it's the perfect stop after a morning workout before heading to work, and I can definitely see why people have been recommending it. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for breakfast, a quiet coffee break, or a place to recharge before starting your day. It reminded me of the cozy cafés in Capitol Hill, but with much easier parking and a more relaxed pace.

They also have plenty of seats with access to outlets, making it a perfect spot if you are looking for a place to work or study. As it has become such a popular spot, you should expect slightly longer wait times, especially if you order food during peak hours. I ordered the Cloud Matcha, which was very good; I have actually already been back to get it again along with some other items! I also tried the croissant, which was delicious. From what I saw, most of the counter staff behave in a rude, arrogant, and disrespectful way toward customers, although there may be exceptions. Some employees may not get involved, but the overall atmosphere behind the counter feels very unpleasant. There was a situation where a person was waiting in line, just standing a little to the side, and some employees started acting like he was trying to skip the line and began confronting him for no reason. Instead of normal customer service, there was attitude, accusations, and disrespectful behavior. Another uncomfortable situation was with the language. When someone clearly understands Russian or Ukrainian but deliberately responds in English and acts like they don't understand the customer, it looks disrespectful and unprofessional. Especially when it is obvious that the person understands what is being said. Again, the café itself may be okay, but the main group working behind the counter really ruins the experience. Customers should be treated with respect, regardless of what language they speak or where exactly they are standing while waiting in line. Very unpleasant experience. I hope the owners pay attention to how their employees treat customers.

Unlike Starbucks, they actually have legit ube flavor (and other Filipino flavors like pandan and turon) for their drinks. I got an ube matcha (super delish, tho in the future I'd ask for less sweet) and a spam musubi (wrapped in plastic wrap, which makes it the perfect airport snack to eat without having to touch it with your hands). It's a little out of the way tucked near Gate 21, but I'd definitely take the short detour if you have the time for some yummy treats!

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #109…read more I was not expecting much out of Neighborhood Bubble Tea and Cafe - Boba in an airport in the US? No way it could be any good! But on a recent trip to Nashville, we decided to trudge all the way over from the A-gates to give this place a try. This shop is tucked away in the side arm of the D-gate area, making it much less crowded than the main walkway in the terminal. There are two ways to order - firstly via the kiosk (no line when we visited) and secondly in person (a line of 5 or 6 people). Black Milk Tea w/ Boba ($8) - I ordered via kiosk to save time and totally blanked on the fact that it doesn't allow ice or sugar level adjustments. Just as I went to pick up the drink about 5 minutes after my order, I thought about this fact and started worrying about the sugar levels. At 100% sweet, I typically find most other boba shops cloyingly sweet. This place, fortunately, uses cane sugar, so the sweetness is more mellow and not as grating. Even at full sweetness, while a little too much for my palette, isn't harsh or overwhelming. The drink comes with whole milk by default. Unlike other more premium shops that only add a splash of milk on top, this one seems to be more like 50/50 tea vs. milk. This adds a bunch of richness to the drink, but also increases the dairy flavor quite a bit, which combined with the sugar overpowers the tea a little. There's still some of the malty and somewhat fruity notes towards the end of the sip. They add a ton of ice. That's something I will definitely be asking for adjustment on in the future. The boba isn't bad at all. There are some issues with consistency in terms of size and due to that, texture. They are soaked in brown sugar syrup, giving a soft and velvety texture on the exterior. The smaller pearls are chewy throughout, while the larger pearls are a bit too firm and grainy towards the center. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 3.5/5 I was really surprised by the quality of the drink I received. Honestly, before visiting, I thought this would be more of a 2 star kind of place! They also serve some really intriguing Filipino snacks that I'd love to come back to try out.

When I walk in here, I feel like I'm inside a warehouse or large parking garage, solely because of the large door near the entrance to this place. Inside, it's blasting K-pop music, and has some tables to sit at. There's also some arcade machines and a photo booth. You order your drinks up at the counter using their kiosks, and they have a bunch of uniquely named drinks like their other location in Cap Hill, with some that are simply just strawberry matcha and mango matcha drinks, though this does keep in line with what a ton of people are crazily lining up for in this day and age (including myself). I got their No. 5 Elixir, which is a mixture of charcoal mango lemonade and a lot of mango bits. First and foremost, I'm happy that it didn't stain my teeth as I drank it, haha.
