This place is pretty much a hidden gem. Even the workers were suprised i found them. Their located fairly close to the airport... lucky me. I went to Zain Restaraunt and Bakery for lunch. Since they advertised as a bakery and a restaurant, I wanted to try both aspects of their offerings. I can tell you now, they are much more of restaurant than a bakery based on the selction I noticed. My vists here so far have been eventful and very memorable. I even enjoyed my conversations with the workers. I honestly felt like this place was made perfectly just for me. I wanna start by highlighting how much I enjoyed the interior of the restaraunt bakery. Kind of fancy. It just felt so clean and simple, yet a warm and inviting. Something about how clean the brick walls were. Interior brick is often in bad condition for a lot of restaraunts, but these are fresh and so clean. In a way that you can tell they really care about their establishment. The baked good that I tried wasn't as sweet as I was expecting, but this really allowed me to appreciate the quality of the actual pastry. It was flaky, but not too flaky with a density and texture that made me want to keep chewing. There was also a nice touch of fruit and creme in the middle. I shared it with a family member whom really liked it also. Even better, they hooked me up with a smoothie for coming up with the goat meat katiidea and even said they are thinking about naming a dish after me. Haha. Such a fun visit. That berry smothy was unique and delicious. The restaraunt food was so darn tasty, made with love, and even made me feel amazing. I asked them if they would whip me up a special order and they did resist, but for a fee I was able to talk them into using their goat meat. Boy oh boy did I win a jackpot. This might be one of the best tasting goat meat dishes I've ever had. The actual pasta was a bit under flavored from what I'm used to, but once that flavor from the goat meat hit my tongue, I almost melted with the meat. I did add the green sauce plus lime and it forsure filled in the exact flavor I felt like the dish was missing. It might as well be made with some of the green sauce and lime mixed in because it was pretty much perfect in my opinion. I'm starting to dream of learning to cook this..... or making someone I know learn. He he he.. Parking was adequate. They have their own parking lot thats somewhat shared with the market next door, but they also share the same building/ interior space. I didn't have any problem finding a spot. So much that somehow I parked here two days in a row to get food. Wait, what, yup sure did. On my next visit I tried the quick and easy food from next door. I should have bought one of everything. SMH. Next time I probably will get 2 or 3 of everything in that hot food thing. Why? Because the 3 things I had were so darn good that I'm sad they aren't open 24 hours a day and also located in my neighborhood. This spot was so easy and good I almost wished I lived next door. Zero lies have been told.

Not knowing what to expect, I decided to give this restaurant a chance. I was not disappointed. The food was superb, the service good, and the ambience surprisingly pleasing. Ordering the food was straightforward. The menu was clearly lit on a large screen as was the price per dish. I ordered an assortment of dishes, including gyro wrap, Philly cheesesteak, fries, and of course, the goat and rice. The goat and rice was well prepared and tasted as good as it looked. The beef chapati wrap hit the right spot, and the chicken kebab was so good I would certainly reorder it. The epic fries almost became the star dish for me. They had crispy, crunchy crust on the outside and soft, fluffy insides. Everything was so good I had to write this review to put this place on the map! Cleanliness, friendliness, and phenomenal food are reasons I would keep returning here. My compliments to the staff and chefs.

The Highlights * Croissants: Unbelievably flaky, buttery, and fresh. * Pistachio Apricot Tart: Absolutely amazing--the nutty pistachio paired with bright, sweet apricot was incredible. * Pizza: Don't sleep on the savory stuff. The bakery-style pizza has a great crust, delicious sauce, and generous toppings for a perfect pre-flight lunch. The staff keeps the line moving fast, the vibe is bright and welcoming, and the food never disappoints.

My favorite bakery in the most dangerous location in Burien…read more Not dangerous because of crime. Dangerous because it's directly across the street from my gym. Nothing says "great workout" quite like immediately replacing every calorie you just burned with one of Bakery Nouveau's twice-baked chocolate croissants. I prefer to think of it as strategic carbohydrate replenishment. Everything here is exceptional. The pastries are buttery, flaky, and somehow manage to ruin every grocery store croissant for the rest of your life. The coffee is excellent, the staff is consistently friendly, and it's one of those places where it's impossible to leave with only the one thing you came in for. The neighborhood feels safe, parking is plentiful, and the only real hazard is convincing yourself you deserve "just one more pastry." Five stars. My spin instructor may disagree. Bakery Nouveau is worth every extra minute on the bike.

Definitely part of the Corner Bakery Cafe chain, they are not picked randomly from place to place. In the Southcenter area, it's actually a great breakfast spot that has a fast food vibe, but a casual dining presence. And the food is actually really good. There are self service beverages, like soda and tea, but there is also self service coffee. It comes down to what you want to eat, and its short order speed, and done well. They do have a multitude of fresh baked dail items, but if you look up, you'll see a complex breakfast menu. Scrambled eggs, and bacon. What catches my eye is the stack of pancakes that welcome you to order them. Also don't forget their other specialty scrambled eggs along with egg burrito like wraps. The accompanying sauces are also equally tasty. Would I return? Absolutely. It's definitely a go to among the locals. And definitely something I'd return for! Come see your Corner Bakery Cafe at your earliest morning!

The first thing I appreciated was the parking. They have their own lot, so finding a space was easy--a huge bonus compared to many Seattle cafés where parking can be a challenge. As you walk in, you'll see shelves displaying their freshly baked breads and pastries, making it easy to browse before ordering. If you look to the left, there's also a viewing window where you can catch a glimpse of the bakery production behind the scenes, which adds a fun touch to the experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and never made me feel rushed. Instead of asking repeatedly if I was ready, they simply let me take my time and came over when I was ready to order. I really appreciated that. I'm the type of person who takes a while to make very serious food decisions, so the no-pressure service made the experience even more enjoyable. One thing that surprised me was that the café wasn't filled with the strong aroma of coffee or freshly baked bread like many bakeries are. Don't let that fool you, though--the bread was incredible. I ordered the Bialy Egg Sandwich, and the bread was soft with a wonderful chewy texture while still having a nice crust on the outside. The egg was cooked with a perfectly runny yolk, which made every bite rich and satisfying. If you prefer your eggs fully cooked, I'd recommend asking when you order. I paired it with a coffee that leaned toward the bright, slightly acidic side. It complemented the sandwich well, although my personal preference is for coffee with more chocolatey, earthy notes. That's purely a matter of taste, not quality--I can definitely see why others would enjoy their roast. One thing to note is that pets aren't allowed inside the café, so plan accordingly if you're bringing your furry friend. But they do sell dog biscuits and you can enjoy the outdoor space with your furry friend after ordered. - which is a bit confusing to me Just keep in mind that they're only open on weekdays and close around 2 p.m., so it's definitely an early bird kind of place. I'd happily come back again--it's the perfect stop after a morning workout before heading to work, and I can definitely see why people have been recommending it. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for breakfast, a quiet coffee break, or a place to recharge before starting your day. It reminded me of the cozy cafés in Capitol Hill, but with much easier parking and a more relaxed pace.
