We had a hankering for breakfast burritos, and this came up. We're new to Des Moines, so not sure if this is in a well traveled area, but I think the workday crowd frequents it quite a bit. The burritos were on the smaller side, but for the price it seems pretty okay. Hubs said they were mini burritos. He was less a fan. Mine was filling enough, fluffy eggs. I didn't notice alot of other filling....it all kind of blended. The bacon (my fav.....cause, well....bacon) wasn't plentiful. read more

My husband has been coming here for many years, singing praises of their delicious sandwiches and chicken veggie soup. I only wish he'd introduced me sooner! I've tried a few sandwiches now and they're honestly all delicious but my favorite is the egg salad sandwich. It's exactly what you think of when you think "egg salad sandwich" - and I think that can be said of most of their sandwiches. It can be boiled down to just being Really Good. The final inspiration to write this review came today - I've been feeling under the weather for a couple days now (no thanks to the aforementioned husband & his janky coworkers) and I was dreaming of their chicken veggie soup. I hesitated - I didn't want to go in and risk getting any of the lovely and kind owners/employees sick. I couldn't stop thinking of it though so I called up and asked if it'd be too much trouble to run it out curbside. They were happy to do so! I masked up, got my hand sanitizer spray and drove the 15 minutes to their airport-adjacent spot. I have to say folks, there is something about getting EXACTLY what you wanted when you're sick that just makes the food hit different. If you're in the area and feeling a Really Good sandwich, with maybe a side of unassuming yet SO delicious soup - look no further. read more

Wow! The deli is tucked away in a commercial/industrial area on the backside of SeaTac airport....go find it and enjoy great service and a fantastic sandwich. I had the turkey club and as a previous post stated it is not sliced turkey lunch meat, but juicy chunks of turkey breast. Counter person asked if I wanted cranberry sauce, never had it on a turkey club, but I do like it. Once again to my pleasant surprise, it was not jellied sauce, but real cranberry sauce. The sandwich was big, with wonderful crispy iceberg lettuce, plenty of turkey and just the right amount of mayo, of course toasted to pwfection. I've been going to Aunt Becky's deli, 1-3 times per week for several months. The service is amazing and fast. Aunt Becky remembers both my dad and I and always has a smile. They even have our orders memorized. The food is standard lunch fare, but the meats are quality and they are not small either. You can't go wrong with their regular menu. A few of our favorite specials are the Wednesday spaghetti special and the Friday Spicy teriyaki chicken. The portions are big and I recently found out they do half sized orders!! They offer clam chowder a few days a week, if you order on clam chowder day, definitely get it!!! read more

This place is the perfect example for a "Diamond in the Rough". The food was absolutely delicious. I got a Turkey Sandwich with Swiss cheese and cranberries and the 5 piece gyoza. All of the food was cheap and ridiculously good and fast. The people who work here are so incredibly nice. If you haven't gone, I 100% recommend coming here. You won't regret it. read more

With working from home I finally got to try this place out. I heard a lot of good things and have to say they are all true. First let me say thank you for making adjustments and helping everyone get through this difficult time. I have only eaten breakfast here but every time it has been delicious and generous portions. Surprise! This place may be the best kept secret in Des Moines! The breakfast sandwich was a huge portion made with quality ingredients sold at A GREAT price. I can't wait to come back for the lunch specials! And the coffee was good. I'm no snob, but I don't like crap coffee. All the years I've eaten around Des Moines and never knew this was that good! Dropped by for a quick sandwich before heading back to work. Got a roasted turkey on rye. When I got back to work to eat I took a big bite which was great. Unfortunately as I was chewing on my bite I noticed a fly crawling from the middle of the sandwich. I immediately spit out my food and called to get a refund because I live no where close to sea-tac. Hopefully they follow through and I get a refund. Not a fun experience. read more

I have been a customer since 2015. Never once have they made a mistake on my order, the sandwiches are generously bulging and excellent. Many times I have decided to get lunch at Aunt Becky's even though I brought a lunch from home. Not many places serve Reuben sandwiches (my favorite), but this place does.This place is great! Always enjoy the friendly service at Aunt Beckys! The food is great and I love the variety, something for everyone. I enjoyed the spicy chicken teriyaki which comes with pot stickers, rice, and salad. The chicken was cooked perfectly and not too spicy, they did provide a side of Siracha in case I wanted it a little hotter. There was a lot of food! I also got a side of wings for my husband and it came with a good amount of celery. The wings were nice and crispy on the outside while being juicy on the inside. I opted to toss it in some hot sauce once we got home. Great crowd and they provide seating if you want to stay in. read more

You're most likely to pass by this tiny gem in the SeaTac area. Hidden amongst businesses and agencies this Becky's deli has a handle on the sandwich business. I tried the turkey club, and it was packed with flavours and a unique style. There's many options for sides (soups, salads, and chips) but the main course is the best. The inside is way too quirky in interior design, a much older space, however it does have WiFi and an amazing amount of open seating. Staff is quite friendly and quick service, I had my sandwich out within 5-10mins from ordering. read more

I've visited this place like 8 times now. If you want a great turkey sandwich I would recommend it. I can't eat their whole sandwiches..there just too big. I always eat half and save the other half for dinner. The full sandwiches come with a cup of soup as well so it's a lot of food for very little. It's definitely a small community restaurant and it's nice seeing so many people have this be their regular lunch spot...it's becoming mine more and more. Other than sandwiches they also offer teriyaki plates and breakfast sandwiches if you come early. Give it a try. read more

As I'm checking out, the 3 donuts I was purchasing rang up @ $17.99, I asked the self checkout clerk about the price of the donuts after 6pm and she said she didn't know, nor did she refer to a co-worker for confirmation. She just voted the $17.99 and charged me $1.89 each for essentially day old donuts...after 6pm! I was taken back and slightly frustrated and I'm the process of paying cash I forgot to grab my change for the bill I used. I didn't realize it until I was in my rig at the light about to turn left...in that time someone‍ grabbed my change and took off. When I came back and inquired about anyone returning unclaimed change, I got 2 no's and a shrug. Then the black woman, whom I'm assuming was in charge, had a..." I could give a damn, that's what you get!" vibe. Am I surprised? No; shit happens when you're distracted, apparently the thief needed my change more than I did...God's Hands My miss the crew that usually works self checkout! UPDATE: After talking to a manager this morning with the same 'could care less' attitude as the lady from last night, I accept the fact that my change from my $100 payment will not be recovered and I accept the possibility of my change being taken by an employee...such is life. Committed customer service and Integrity is rare nowadays‍ I love the night crew at QFC's self checkout, unfortunately I won't be returning.

I…read morespecifically wanted to laud this establishment as we dropped in after our flight to Taipei was cancelled. We got a couple of food vouchers from the airline and since Las Palmas uses Toasttab as their payment processor we were able to order food here. Even though we technically weren't dining inside, they let us sit and eat while we were trying to figure out what to do to rebook the flight and hotel near the airport. We ordered a Pollo al Grill and a bunch of different pupusas. Honestly I was way too stressed to really pay attention to the food, but here are some notes that I jotted down while eating: Pollo al Grill Chicken ($20.49) - Rice is good. Chicken has a nice grilled flavor and plenty of spices added, but the interior is kind of dry Pupusas ($3.89 each) - Las Palmas is generous with fillings. Every single pupusa is very tasty and cooked perfectly. Las Palmas gives a lot of sides and sauces/condiments with the order. The curtido has good acidity and there's a very savory salsa roja to pour on top of the pupusas. There's also a small container of beans, very smooth and full of lard, guac, and sour cream. I really need to revisit in the near future!

The tamales are a bit expensive at 6.50 each, but they're a safe food for me with my food allergies. So to me it's worth it! There are potatoes and peppers in with the chicken. The chicken was flavored well. These are gluten free and dairy free My partner had the pupusas. The chicharron was his favorite of the two as it was very flavorful. He also really enjoyed the sauce which tastes like a tomato soup flavor vs like a more traditional salsa. He wouldn't get the spinach again, but it wasn't bad. He said they were very comforting. We will be back! $25 to leave full and content.

We took advantage of the Irish St. Patrick's Day menu, and we were excited to go back for the Easter menu. The Easter menu was also shown on their website as being a week long - so that's three more days from the day we went. When we got there, we spent a few minutes being discombobulated because we couldn't find any of the Easter menu items besides the pancakes (photo) and the drinks menu. In addition, the staff was being a big cagey about it. The menu was still featured on the website but turns out, we were eventually told, that they ran out of the ingredients for most of the items (which would be ham and pork, I guess) and the menu was shut down except for the drinks and the pancakes (nobody mentioned the pancakes and they weren't named in an Eastery way). So, folks, if you offer a week-long menu for one of the biggest holidays of the year, please get enough inventory. We know times are tough, but you did decide to do this and presumably know better after being open since 1979. Please take the holiday menu down from your website if it's not applicable anymore. Please put "subject to availability" on your flyer online if it's possible you will run out of inventory. Please be forthcoming and cheerful and apologetic that you don't have the holiday menu anymore, not defensive. Please tell your entire staff that you aren't serving it anymore. Non-wait staff. Why do you ask us what we want to drink, then tell us we'll have to ask our server? Just bring us water and be done with it. Wait staff.
