Salmon avocado toast, hash browns
Priscilla L.

This spot is a gem. Legit gem. To be frank, it was not my first option. It was the first day of the year and pretty much all my go-to spots were closed for the holiday. I decided to look up something quick, simple and close by, and that's when I found sunnyside cafe. I had passed it a million times before. I'd wander what it was like but it never caught my attention until that day, so I decided to finally give it a try. I almost regret not finding it sooner tbh. It was amazing. I hadn't realized that they had an entire back side area next to a garden! Although it was busy, I was able to get sat surprisingly quick. Due to a recent (new) egg allergy, my options have been quite limited for breakfast... this spot made it easy to choose something lacking eggs. I went with the salmon avocado toast and a strawberry pistachio matcha (out of the norm for me but I wanted to try something different). The wait wasn't too bad. I received my food at a timely manner. Everything was delish! I truly enjoyed every bite and sip, while people watching haha. I'm definitely going back for more. It's too cute not to and the service was A-1. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a date spot, good for groups or a solo brunch outing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Food was as ordered. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Syrup on table was extremely sticky and yucky.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plastic silverware.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Bottled beverages. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No restroom.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Gratuity included for dine-in.

I ordered the Croque Madame and a green smoothie that I can't remember the name of- both were delicious. When going in to order the waiter was very attentive, quick and professional. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space was soo cute! I loved the area and that barbie & ken photo is amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Went to this restaurant for breakfast with family. My nephew had been telling me about this place for a while and we decided to stop in. I ordered sausage, corn beef hash, eggs and hash browns... other in my party ordered pancakes, waffles, and a breakfast sandwich which was white toast with eggs and sausage. We all tasted each other's food and everything was great. The 4 stars is because its tight in there, but the customer service is great. We will definitely go back.

Cute little mom n pop shop. Very small menu, the food is fresh, and prices are reasonable, (great for your hangover).

The service was just as memorable. Everyone welcomed us in so warmly, it honestly felt like we were regulars. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and the white wine recommendation paired perfectly with our meal. The ambiance was lively and energetic, but we never felt rushed, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our time together. Such a thoughtful touch to leave with freshly baked bread to enjoy at home. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

It is very clean and with good music. They prepare some great smoothies and their sour dough breads are great. Their food is very tasty and you can't leave without having their rice with lentils , outstanding.. Their spare ribs are very tasty and well cooked as well as their Labne Salmon. If you are still hungry after that, their cookies are very good, and their other baked goods look amazing also. Try this place! You won't regret it. If you are ordering take out, be careful, order are smaller portions.

We ordered a large black coffee and a large breakfast pizza. The breakfast pizza comes with eggs your way (poached, scrambled, over easy, medium or hard), choice of cheese (cheddar, swiss, smoked provolone or mozzarella) and a meat or a veg. We opted for over medium, smoked provolone and mushrooms. The pizza took a while to be ready and it was worth the wait! Deliciously crispy and smoky, enhanced by their real wood fired oven! It was a true delight! The coffee was fantastic as well. We had it black, the true test of coffee greatness, and Alaska's house roast passed the test with flying colors! Add in a pleasant dining room and friendly service, and this is a true 5-star experience!

While the service was super friendly and the coffeehouse/pizza shop vibe was pleasant ( loved the jazz music), the dish itself was a 4 out of 5. The Hollandaise was watery and lacking in the flavor department. The ham was just OK. For a premium price, a bit disappointing That all being said, it just might not be their best dish. The avocado toast looked amazing. I'll try this place again, if only to explore the amazing looking items in the bakery case.

It's not often that I post about a culinary experience, but in the case of "The Rose Cafe" in Sunny…read moreIsles Beach, I have to let my YELP friends know about the ambience, the food, and the service of this restaurant. First the ambiance. The minute you walk into the restaurant, you feel as if you were transported to a high-end European cafe or a London tea room. The elegance, the fresh roses, and the smart blend of modern and art deco styles immediately sets a romantic mood whether you're there for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Second, the food. Under the leadership of Chef Gianluca, he brings to life a variety of delicious Mediterranean inspired dishes. I tried the tuna tartar, the eggplant Parmesan, and the crispy shrimp as appetizers. That was followed by a homemade pasta dish that was perfectly al dente and amazing. As a main dish, I tried the filet mignon with truffles and mushrooms. But, as good as the meal tasted, however, the freshly made pistachio gelato served on a frozen stone for dessert was a show stopper. But, the ambiance and the food could not be outmatched by the stellar service. Our server Damaris, and her team added to the attention to detail that the ambiance and the food demanded and accomplished by the exemplary service on par with any Michelin starred restaurant. Adding to the experience, however, was the live entertainment by Vocalist Cami Liz, whose sultry renditions of ageless songs only added to the enchanting ambiance, the delicious food and romantic charm of The Rose Cafe, that ensures a return visit! https://www.rosecafeandrestaurant.com/

I came in to have a impromptu birthday lunch with my mom. Carina the waitress was sweet and a quickly let us know about the FiFa specials that were going on. They are a steal by the way! Now we put in an order for appetizers from that menu around 12:50ish. Thankfully for great conversation I didn't notice the time was now 1:30 and our apps didn't come out yet. I got another waiter's attention(Luis) who was super helpful to go see what was happening in the kitchen. About 10 mins later the lobster rolls and skewers came out but in the wrong quantity. However Carina quickly got it right. We ordered our main meals which was an avocado salad & the lobster pasta. Yuuuuum! Everything that we had was super flavorful. The bartender David was great at attending to us while we couldn't get our waitress attention. I would definitely come back here but I was a bit disappointed that no manager came over to acknowledge that there was a mix up in the kitchen or apologize for the extended wait when there were literally about 2 other tables occupied.

The menu has a good variety of croissants, egg dishes, toasts, coffees, and juices. One of my favorites is the breakfast croissant with egg, ham, and melted cheese. The cheese inside is so good and really makes the whole sandwich. We also tried the scrambled eggs. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the whole wheat toast, which felt a little dry, but everything else was good. If you're coming hungry, get the pancake platter. The portion is huge and perfect for sharing. It comes with eggs, bacon, and three large pancakes. They also have no problem bringing extra syrup, which is always appreciated. For drinks, we've had iced cappuccino, lattes, and the detox juice. The detox juice was actually really good, especially for a green juice. Service is always quick and attentive, and the atmosphere is calm and comfortable. It's the kind of place where people grab breakfast, work on their laptops, or stay a while and enjoy their coffee. Nothing overly fancy, just a solid brunch spot with fair prices and consistently good food. We'll definitely keep coming back.
