I ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich and a breakfast burrito. The bagel sandwich had a funky non-appetizing odor from it... even after I braved the noxious fumes and took a bite or three, I couldn't finish it. It wasn't good at all... lol. I decided to try the burrito hoping for some kind of redemption. I was a fool... just looking it makes you wonder what kind of person would roll a burrito in the bizarre fashion that my burrito was rolled. It wasn't even a roll, they twisted it (wth right?). There was egg, potatos, and cheese on the outside of the.... "burrito". I took my first bite into my "burrito"... and I was just like... nuh uh. Can't do it. I used to visit here daily when I lived in the area. I knew the owners before Kara took over and for the most part I can say Kara has done a wonderful job. By far my favorite tasting coffee. It's rich and delicious. Also, her heavy whipping cream is the best I've had. They have a wonderful selection of flavors and different drinks and I love that she's starting to offer Keto friendly things. There are a few reasons that I couldn't give it 5 stars. When she started advertising a keto shake, I reached out to her to ask what was in it and she refused to tell me. Which, felt odd and uncomfortable. Needless to say, I never ordered it. The worst is the prices. In an area where you can get coffee and espresso drinks everywhere it's hard to justify how much she charges. Up to 7 dollars for one drink, far more than Starbucks. I'm certain she has to charge as much to stay profitable in such a saturated market. But honestly, I'd go to Bigfoot or Union and get a drink for far cheaper. read more

Sunnyside Espresso is the only coffee stand I go to on a regular basis. I have never had a negative experience with any of the people who work or own the stand. I have been a consistent and loyal customer for over 5 years. They work hard to make my drinks correctly and if a mistake is made they make me a new one with no hassle and an apology. I have been thoroughly impressed with the level of customer service they provide and the extra effort the owner puts to be more than just a coffee stand. The owner has a passion for the business, the young women who work there always greet me with a smile, and they try to make the visit feel like we are friends. I treat them with kindness and respect and they return it back to me. It is a simple gesture to remember to treat them as a human being and not being a self entitled jerk and treating them like garbage. read more

Saturday afternoon- March 27 If you're going to wear a mask, then wear it properly. Wearing it on your chin is ridiculous and useless. They used to follow Covid procedures but apparently not anymore. Would not recommend during Covid. One of their staff members refuses to wear their mask properly (nose is always out, and when asked if she would be able to pull it up and cover her nose she gives attitude). Unfortunately she was always there at the time I drove by for work so I stopped going. Good drinks but super overpriced. Their "free drink" isn't actually free either. It's $5 off, and you have to buy something like 11 drinks before you get the $5 off. Every other coffee stand I've been to gives you a free drink the size of what you usually order. read more

While the coffee has been tasty, the prices I've been shocked by. This stand is on my daily route so thought I'd give it a try. I've ordered americanos each time I've been there and both times it has been over $5! For a flavor and splash of cream! No menu or prices are listed, so nothing to compare to. Many of these reviews are absolutely awful, which is fair if it was a bad experience, but I have only had one questionable experience (window open, register open and no one inside) but either than that I only have to say the wait on the coffee is a bit longer than preferred, The bubble tea is great! I would definitely recommend if you have the patience, I've never had trouble with payment or pricing, customer service has been decent but not as efficient as wanted. Will come again read more

I ordered delivery from this place twice from both Grubhub and Ubereats. BOTH times they got my order completely wrong. I ordered a redbull soda and a pumpkin latte in one of my orders, but I instead got two generic cold coffees and two bagels. I don't understand how you can mess up that badly unless the baristas aren't good at keeping track on which order goes to which driver. There isn't even a physical receipt provided so I honestly don't know how they keep track of their orders for delivery. I decided to give Sunnyside Espresso another chance since it's right on my way home but once again it wasn't a great experience. The girl with a face tattoo was the one to take my order, she was super short with her answer, monotone and didn't care to smile or make eye contact. I always order the same drink wherever I go, iced white coffee americano with cream. It took her forever to make the drink and when she handed it to me it was with regular coffee. I told her I had order it with white coffee and she quickly replied, " you didn't say that." When I told her I did she replied "well you didn't say that." I asked for my money back since it didn't seem like she was going to make me a new one in which she replied "we don't do that." Share started to turn back around and gave the most exaggerated eye roll that a 12 year old girl would give. She asked the girl in there with her to re make it because she "had to go to the bathroom" and she just stormed out of the stand. The girl with her was super nice and apologized and even said she heard me say white coffee. That girl made my coffee super good. It sucks that the stand has employees like the girl with the face tattoo. And it looks like there's multiple complaints on Yelp about her. Nice little local coffee stand that offers quite a bit! Has tons of food items as well. I went there this afternoon though and ordered a 16oz iced americano with cream, and one sugar. I like just simple coffees for the most part. Anyways, I was kind of thrown back by how much it was . 3.81 for two shots of coffee, water and a splash of cream. Almost 4$! And you have to tip at least a buck. Rude not too. Even at Starbucks an americano is cheaper since it is such a plain and simple drink. Maybe I was accidentally overcharged , or maybe that's what the price is on their menu. I failed to look as my baby was screaming in the back seat. I'm glad I finally decided to give their blended matcha green tea drink a try because I fell in love with not only the taste but with how. creamy it is too, perfect combination! Sunnyside espresso has a great looking posted menu with all sorts of interesting drinks and many food items. Strange as it is the prices are not listed for anything. I have ordered a latte and asked for "no foam". I was charged for "no foam". I have never heard of such a thing. That's highway robbery. Adding to the weirdness they don't tell you that there is a charge for" no foam". I asked for my receipt at one time and saw the added charge. The drinks I've ordered are way overpriced. Added fees here and there. The baristas are not friendly. If you have any questions the attitude is like your putting them out. Their "free drink" system is nothing like I've ever seen before. You lose points towards a free drink if you don't come in frequently to buy drinks. Therefore, you lose a free drink in a very short time. There are too many negatives to be going back. I will not be going back. There are too many other stands that have so much more to offer with good drinks, prices that are reasonable with a price list- NO SURPRISES!!. Ordered some drinks and sandwiches for delivery. Three of the five items were incorrect or missing upon arrival. When I called, they said we could either order a **partial** refund through the app or come in to get the items. No other offers were made for a free item or for our inconvenience or anything - even though we paid a service fee, tax, and tip for the majority of the order to be messed up. Not just that but when we drove to pick up the items, the woman at the stand started literally arguing with us about how a portion of our order "hadn't come through" and that they weren't responsible for it???? My husband shared that she stomped out of the stand after that... I have a receipt showing that I ordered my drink "half sweet" and with 2 extra espresso shots. I got a white chocolate peppermint americano with almond milk and it was AWFUL. The shots were super bitter, dead and that's all I could taste, the aftertaste was the worst part. Didn't taste like there was any flavor in it at all. My friend got their drink of the month which was good, but when she asked what was in it she was told "it's our secret recipe. Sorry." Sunnyside Espresso has become part of my daily routine. I made the switch to this coffee stand a year 1/2 ago because the owner put her all into the business. Coffee is an art to her and you can tell this by the taste. She makes sure that every employee is trained to all make the same kind of coffee. You know how you go to some coffee stands and you hope that the same employee is working that made your last drink really good, well not here! Their coffee all taste the same. The coffee is good, but make sure you ask for a copy of your receipt and look it over before you drive away. They routinely add a $1 tip to your receipt without telling you. Today I gave the barista a $2 tip and then discovered that she had already given herself a $1 tip on top of that on my receipt. I ordered an Americano and a Chai Latte. I was charged for two Chai Lattes, which are more expensive than the Americano. I had to call several times to get the refund processed. As a gesture of goodwill, I would have expected her to refund my coffee charges entirely, but she did not offer to do that -- she was only willing to refund the $1 tip she gave herself and the extra she charged me for the Americano. We won't be going back there again. read more
