We ordered box lunches for the employees of Good Samaritan Service after volunteering at a local…read moreorganization. Online ordering was so easy, and Kevin's follow-up on our order was great. When I went to pick up our order, Amanda provided us with a gluten-free substitute dessert for one of the box lunches and helped me load the lunches into my car. We will definitely order from Oregon Dairy again!

A lot to see and do with the kids and overall a great family friendly atmosphere that's safe and has a little something for everyone , young and old . They have the coolest market with a lot of local produce, baked goods, jams, and fruit butters. A bulk candy section and fair prices. The model toy train is so cute and is a bonus for kids of all ages to watch. It goes around the track at the top of the store and also runs through a track in their sit down restaurant. I will say we decided to eat dinner there and we had the salad bar, and sandwiches. Salad bar had fresh options and delicious soups that tasted homemade. My only disappointment was, Sadly, the eggs in the sandwiches we ordered tasted premade and reheated, not made to order scrambled eggs and they tasted like they could have been powdered? Overall though, it was a nice time. The restaurant is also family friendly and accessible for those with disabilities that may require a wheelchair. The staff seemed friendly and our service was very good. Not a long wait time. Overall it's a wonderful establishment and the market is incredibly loaded to the rafters with goodies sure to please everyone. The Ice cream for dessert was delicious too. I would recommend Oregon Dairy. Not just for the great market and gift shop, but it's a cool place to bring the kids with an outdoor playground area and different seasonal activities.

In the former long time location of the Akron Shoprite is a new doughnut shop. There is another…read moreLancaster location and foodtrucks. Upon entering is a wall of large, multi filled donuts of a number of varieties. Tiramisu I'm told is a popular one. I bought a dozen and the cost was $29. A purchase of a doz gets you a token for a free donut. A similar dozen at Giant Food Store that morning was $11. So are these worth 3 times the price? Depends. They are larger, there are more varieties and they are superfresh. They have a coffee bar and more than a few Gluten free options. The seating area is warm and inviting with a nice fireplace on the chilly day I visited. There is a small meeting room for an office to gather over coffee and donuts. I am a tea drinker and they do offer hot tea. I would love to see iced tea and flavored teas offered. Now what they need to come up with is some kind of breakfast or lunch option, a sandwich or croissant or a wrap. If you want me to come in and sit down for awhile I need more than a donut. We were looking for a place to eat that day and would have loved to stay if they offered anything like a sandwich. Dunkin Donuts offers quite few options. I'm not looking for that. Just something that works with their vibe and lets me grab a bite for lunch. The donuts themselves are super sweet, a bit messy (the creme leaks out) and big. You know how you slurp down a Krispy Kreme donut in 2 bites? This is not that. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The aesthetic is clean, nicely appointed. Some Akron locals told me they have embraced this venue. I'm sure they did their due diligence in opening a location here that is off the main drag. Loads of parking, easy in and out. They could easily get 5 stars by adding to the menu just a bit. But today, 4 stars from me.

This place is unassuming from the outside, but pretty cute and cozy on the inside! The floor to ceiling windows let in a lot of light and create a comfortable space to enjoy the food. The employees working were friendly and quick. They worked through a line of 3 people within a minute or two. I ordered two donuts at $2.80 each and one gluten free ($4) for a friend. I definitely think the prices are high compared to other similar donuts in the area. The quality was good, though. I loved the chocolate icing and the donut dough was fresh. My friend said the gluten free donut was a little dense, but I think that's par for the course with gluten free baked goods.

My husband ate almost the entire shepherds pie by himself...he was hungry and it's good. I just finished eating a chocolate mint cupcake that was so tasty. Their chocolate croissants are fabulous as well. Service was friendly and speedy yesterday. I was there at 4pm so I have found they are less busy at that time of day when I want to buy things to take home. If I lived closer to Zig's I would probably be there more often, but as it is, I am still thankful it's only a 30 minute drive from my home.

If I had to pick a "comfort spot" in Lancaster County, Zig's would win every time. This place is…read moreone of my favorite lunch stops, the kind where you walk in already knowing exactly what you're ordering because it never misses. I get the tuna melt every single time, and listen... their tuna is unreal. Perfectly seasoned, not too mayo-heavy, toasted just right it's basically my emotional support lunch at this point. I also never skip the seasonal drink special. Today's was the apple chai-der and it was so cozy and delicious. Their drink specials always feel like you're sipping the current season through a mug. Zig's also has an entire cooler/freezer wall packed with soups, applesauce, and grab-and-go meals. My all-time favorite soup is the Tomato Pepper Jack absolutely phenomenal. If you see it, grab two. Trust me. The bakery case? Dangerous. Cupcakes, pies, whoopie pies, parfaits... it's basically dessert heaven behind glass. And then there's my holy grail: the Buffalo Cauliflower. It's a rare find, and when I spot it I buy it in full apocalypse-prep quantities. No regrets. Between the rustic vibe, great coffee, incredible baked goods, and comfort-food lunches, Zig's is one of those places you keep coming back to because it just feels good and tastes even better. Highly recommend!
