Establishment was busy walking in, good sign! Seated right away and drink order in quickly. Looks clean and well run. Left a carafe of coffee and water with me which I appreciate.

First time in was a pleasant breakfast experience. My wife really enjoyed her Hibiscus Mule and Crab Cake Benedict. I had a screwdriver and the Classic Eggs Benedict, which was just okay. The ham was a little overcooked and too large compared to the eggs and english muffins. The kitchen also went a little too heavy on the paprika, especially on the extra side that I ordered for my potatoes. The service however was exceptional! I believe our servers name was Hadiya and she's what elevated this to a 4 star from 3. She was attentive, very friendly and offered some good recommendations. We will be back and look forward to trying something new.

No returns on drinks? LOL if it's on the menu an issue probably came up a few times

It's more of a 3.5-star experience for me. The food, service, and space were all good, just not quite great. If I remember right, this location used to be another breakfast spot. Our server was super friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. The food itself was pretty solid. My friend had the Parisian Eggs Benedict, and I went with the biscuits and gravy plus a side of ham. One thing that made us laugh was the note at the top of the drink menu saying drinks can't be returned, must've happened enough times to warrant the disclaimer. The beer I ordered from Santa Fe Brewing wasn't their best, so maybe stick to non-alcoholic drinks. The coffee was good.

Sunnyside up never misses. The service is always great. The food comes out fresh and they offer healthy options and fresh pressed juices

Food: Amazing food and drinks, generous portions, great taste, flavor and good lot of variety on the menu. One thing that was so obvious was that the dishes were not reeking with oil like most breakfast diners. This was clearly a big plus in my books! :) Service: Our host was Mireya. She was awesome, always with a smile, very attentive, friendly, had great suggestions for vegetarian options. Ambience: Great ambience, a little busy and chatty but it was nice! Parking: No issues, ample parking in and around. Restrooms: Clean and well kept. All in all, highly recommend!! Thanks!

Couldnʻt finish it! Took most of it to go and snacked on it the rest of the day.

First time trying this place as we passing through the area on vacation. Ordered the oatmeal pancake. It was huge and covered most of the plate. I enjoyed several bites, but couldnʻt finish it. It was good, but wasnʻt so delicious that I would order again. Husband had the denver omelet which he said was fine. Itʻs a popular place, so we had to wait longer than stated for a table. Service was good, but will try another place next time.

Food was amazing!! And the customer service was over the top. I had the carrot cake waffle breakfast & my husband had the blueberry pancake breakfast. We will definitely be back!

My hubby and I had a wonderful breakfast date there this AM. Service 10/10. Huge menu and all we ordered was fantastic. Nice little touches like water and coffee carafes are left on the table. Will most definitely be back. p.s. During busy times you can join the waitlist on their website. We got there at 745am and it was about half full. When we left at 845 it was packed.

I wish I had discovered Sunnyside Up before I left Albuquerque to head home. I love Eggs Benedict and will usually steer towards those at a restaurant as I can have the usual breakfast items at home. I was highly impressed with the meal as it came out. This had thick slices of ham which compared to another restaurant I had eggs benedict at earlier in my trip, there was barely any meat there. The potatoes were nicely seasoned too. I had an ice coffee to drink and unlike others I had, this wasn't watered down and came with refills. If I make my way back to Albuquerque I will come back to dine here. Staff were friendly and attentive as well.

I absolutely see why people love this place! It has that classic neighborhood breakfast spot feel--where you know the names of everyone who works and dines there, no matter their role. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in good hands. I arrived closer to lunchtime, and even though it was busy, I was seated in under 15 minutes. I grabbed a booth solo, and my server, Branden, was superb! He had great recommendations, was incredibly efficient, and had a warm, inviting smile. I can see why people love sitting in his section--he's a joy! The menu? Overwhelming in the best way--I wanted everything! But since I had a plane to catch, I went on the lighter side (well, kind of). My order: Water, Dr. Pepper, a Mimosa, and a piping hot Texas Steak Skillet with green chili sauce on the side. Delicious! Eggs scrambled to perfection with cheese, tender steak, crispy potatoes, onions, and peppers... yes, ma'am! When I'm back in Albuquerque, this is a must-stop--hell, if you can handle it, come every damn day. It's that good. Enjoy!

The food was very tasty, portions are large, and reasonably priced. Our server, Mireya, was a sweetheart, and all of the staff are attentive and efficient. If you order coffee, they bring a carafe for the table so it's never cold, and the manager/owner made the rounds checking in at each table. It's no wonder the place is busy, yet there was no wait. Tables turned over quickly but no one was being rushed out.

Okay I had a quick layover here from work and I must say I like this place . I was staying at a nearby hotel and it was literally 500 ft walk and I'm so happy about that . I walk in , table for one and was told it was 30 min . Around 20 min or , my table was ready and I walk in . My server name was Marcus , he seem busy but very attentive about taking my order. I order the hibiscus mimosa and it's good omg . Then I had the omelette . I need to find the name as I forgot but it is very good (bacon avocado scramble). Took a little bit but not too much time I got my food (now I was hungry so my patience might have been short and that's on me lol ) .its Avery just place and they also have outdoor seating . Its was busy . The food was delicious . I ate everything there and I had the muffin as my toast and it was perfect and butter well . I will come back again when I visit Albuquerque for sure .

So you might remember back in the day this location was an Egg and I location. But a few years back they rebranded and got rid of the franchise, but now it's basically a local version of the same thing. They have a large selection of breakfast foods, including everything you can imagine from sweet to savory. They have a good variety of coffees and alcoholic drinks. I ordered the steak skillet and sub the chile on the side for gravy. My skillet had the ranch potatoes, roasted veggies, steak and scrambled eggs. It was really good and very filling. The wait was a little on the longer side, but as you sit around, you realize a lot of people were waiting in their cars so it was more busy than it looked initially. I think we waited about 45 minutes for two people. Once we were seated, service was pretty fast and everything came out at a decent pace.

Good balance of tuna, celery, and bread ratio, but I didn't dig the olives in it. There's a mini kale salad that comes with entrees, and it was healthy and palatable for kale. We did end up balancing that green with the pistachio cruffin and pistachio chocolate chip cookie. Would definitely go back for the cruffin with its flaky layers and luscious pastry cream. Cookie was less impressive but still worth the impulse buy. Indoor and breezy outdoor seating available. Highly recommend!

The kids are happy, I'm happy, and honestly, that's a successful breakfast in my book. The only downside is the limited seating. It's a smaller location, so it can fill up quickly, especially during the breakfast rush. If you happen to come during a really busy time, you may have to wait a bit to find a table. That said, I don't think it takes away from the experience you just have to time it right. We usually come for breakfast since they're open for breakfast and lunch, and this time I tried the Grande burrito. And let me tell you, "Grande" is not an exaggeration. That is a LOT of food. I got the bacon-smothered burrito with red chile, and it was delicious. Unfortunately, I could not finish it. I do wish there was something between the Grande and Junior because the Grande is a serious commitment, and I'm not sure the Junior would be enough. I'll have to try it next time and find out. My daughter ordered the steak sandwich, which comes with an Angus sirloin steak on Texas toast. It looked a little wild when it came out, but she ate it and said it was delicious, so apparently the presentation was just part of the experience. My son got the sausage, egg and cheese biscuits. He ate the whole thing, so clearly he approved. His only complaint was that the biscuit kept falling apart, but considering he's a little kid, I'm going to blame that one on the user rather than the biscuit. The staff has always been friendly during our visits. On this particular morning, a gentleman came around several times to refill our house coffee, which I always appreciate. Good service and a full coffee cup go a long way. And if you're into pastries and coffee, they have plenty of options. I've tried their blueberry muffin, and it is divine. They also have different baked scones, and I've had their lattes and macchiatos, which have all been really good. I still need to come back during the lunch hours because there are several things I want to try. The hot beef sundae caught my attention, and the Philly also looked really good. There are so many different options that I feel like I could keep coming back and ordering something different every time. This is definitely the kind of place where you can stop in, grab something really good, enjoy a little coffee, and get on with your morning. It's casual, welcoming, and consistently good. Limited seating is really my only complaint. Otherwise, I've been here multiple times and have yet to leave disappointed. Definitely a must-try!

For our meal, we ordered two Chicken & Waffles plates, a Blue Corn Lavender Waffle, and a kids' plate. The Blue Corn Lavender Waffle was a unique touch and a fun way to try something distinctly New Mexican. Neither my wife nor I cared for the drip coffee, so we asked a staff member if we could swap it out for double espressos. They were happy to accommodate us, and the espresso was a significant improvement. The service was friendly, and the staff made a positive first impression from the phone call all the way through our visit. For our family, the total came to about $80, which felt a little steep. We ended up eating inside since the patio tables were either occupied or unavailable (due to a sleeping homeless person). The restaurant is housed in a renovated older home, and they've done a nice job making the most of the space. Oof. Swing and a hard miss for me…read more Ordered: -The Mimosa - waaaaaaaaaay too sweet. I actually couldn't finish it. I had to order a prosecco and combine it with the mimosa because it was way too much super sweet orange juice -The Cajun Lion's Mane - the hollandaise was absolutely way too sour. I mean...it was bad. Like, really bad. Not only was it just awful, but my entire meal was drowning in it. Next, the coconut crusted lion's mane was absolutely inedible. It tasted more like a different part of the lion, if you know what I mean. I just didn't eat it past two bites. The asparagus was inconsistent (some smaller mushy stalks and some large uncooked crunchy stalks). The toast would have been fine but the amount of pesto on it was atrocious. I scraped most of it off...I mean there was a MOUND of it. The egg was fine (opted for regular). All in all it was just a piece of toast with an egg DROWNING in sour vegan hollandaise and pesto with asparagus and an inedible fried mushroom thing. And to say 'thing' is even offensive to 'things.' Upside! The place is cute and the people I went with seemed to really enjoy their meals! So take my review with a grain of salt. Maybe it just wasn't for me?

They have the maple pecan donut back for fall and it is delicious. We also tried the pumpkin donut…read moreand it didn't disappoint! We were planning on stopping for lunch but heads up they now only serve their pasties, drinks and now burritos. The rest of the menu is gone. So this trip we just stuck to the donuts!
