Best waffles in town. I always leave feeling perfectly full. The savory waffles definitely surprised me with the creativity. The service is always fast and friendly. There's limited indoor seating but plenty of shaded spots in the back and front patios. 10/10 would recommend for breakfast/brunch.

And we continue our discovery of breakfast places. I know Tia B's has been around for a long time, yet we've not stopped by until today. Well, what a big mistake! Being on Nob Hill gives it a prime location. The old house feel and ambiance are nice and relaxed. No space for pretentious here. The waffle makers on the walls, precious! The space has little spots to sit inside and out. All servers, from the counter to the waitresses were also chill and friendly. For the food, we both ordered the chicken and waffles with blue corn waffles. The hubs had a great idea and we both got a side of green chile. Yes, we made a green chile chicken and waffles with soft blue corn waffles, crispy and tasty pieces of chicken. The maple syrup and butter paired up well. But the green chile made everything much more bright and perfect. Overall, our experience was excellent. The only thing we would have changed, we did because they had green chile available. We can add this place to our favorites now.

Third time back and the quality of the waffles is consistent! After trying many options I have found my favorite -- blueberries on blue corn waffles with a side of honey. Adding honey it is sweet, not needed but so delicious and love there is enough whip cream Sharing a pic of the savory waffle, tasty but spicy - would order but would either ask for green chili on the side or less of it

Tia B's Waffleria has a nice vibe, but my experience with the food fell a bit short. Parking is easy, with a lot located to the side of the building. When you enter, you order at the counter, and the restaurant has a cozy, house-like feel with seating both inside and in a lovely courtyard out back. I ordered the chicken and waffles on a buttermilk waffle, but unfortunately, the dish was underwhelming. Both the waffle and chicken were served cold, and the chicken was a bit dry. It seemed like there might have been only one chef in the kitchen, which could explain the quality issues. While I wouldn't return for the food, the coffee seemed promising, and the courtyard is a great spot to relax.

Food itself was good but the wait for the food was very long about 45m on a Thursday. When we arrived there was no line. We were not sure what to order since it was our first time visiting. I opted to try a savory waffle the Ranchero with Christmas chile and a side of bacon. My cousin had the strawberries and cream. Prices are a bit high for my liking but the food is filling. We sat outside which had more seating than inside. There were plenty of spots with shade. We had to grab our own silverware, water and napkins before siting so kinda like a carry out place. The staff would wander the area to deliver food orders but since the seating is spread out they sometimes made circles around the restaurant. As we saw the staff circling they kept skipping our table and we were worried they forgot our food or something happened. We noticed a few other people didn't have food either and figured they were there before us. We waited and waited....I got anxious at the 30m mark and by this time there was a line of people waiting to order and I wanted to ask about our order but didn't want to get in line just to ask on status. Eventually our food came out we were so hungry we almost left to another place down the road. The food was good but not sure if it was because we were hungry or that it was actually good. I later read online that this is typical so beware and be ready to wait a long time for your meal. They either need more waffle makers or do something in the kitchen to make things faster.

La Wafferia is a hidden gem with locals. They make their most flavorful waffles that can be customized to a sweet or savory pallette. I've tried a variety of them ans they are always amazing. It's hard to choose a favorite.

Cute location located near Carlisle and Campus. Great patio with little "cabana's" in the front and very green and shaded back patio. Staff was VERY friendly and offered great service... Grace took our order and was very kind and attentive. We ordered the Ranchero Scramble and Banana Waffle and enjoyed every bite. Definitely made with a lot of love.

It's more like a 3.5/5. We stuck with the waffles because...waffleria lol The Waffles were alright. We ordered a variety of sweet and savory. Nothing really stood out. I thought it was okay....slightly overpriced...I mean waffles are pretty simple. They add a bunch of extra toppings. Again, it was okay. I didn't have anything that made me feel like I would crave it again. There was a line out the door with limited seating inside and outside. While waiting in line it was difficult because the servers were trying to balance food and get in and out of the restaurant. One guy who worked here was definitely not in the mood and kind of overwhelmed. I, unfortunately, was in his way and he let me know several times I was in his way lol Overall...it was okay. Solid. A good place to try out with your friends for breakfast/brunch. Do try the sweet and savory options.

I found Tia B's to be very middle of the road. I had the "salmon & lox" savory waffle. The name is redundant, as lox is cured salmon, but that's neither here nor there. The dill sauce came on the side and I had to use quite a bit of it to give the meal a bit of flavor. I didn't find it to be very flavorful or filling overall, and for the $30+ price tag for that, a coffee, taxes, and tip, I was disappointed. Given the wait time for the food is long and the price tag high for the quality, I wouldn't need to revisit.

Good balance of tuna, celery, and bread ratio, but I didn't dig the olives in it. There's a mini kale salad that comes with entrees, and it was healthy and palatable for kale. We did end up balancing that green with the pistachio cruffin and pistachio chocolate chip cookie. Would definitely go back for the cruffin with its flaky layers and luscious pastry cream. Cookie was less impressive but still worth the impulse buy. Indoor and breezy outdoor seating available. Highly recommend!

The kids are happy, I'm happy, and honestly, that's a successful breakfast in my book. The only downside is the limited seating. It's a smaller location, so it can fill up quickly, especially during the breakfast rush. If you happen to come during a really busy time, you may have to wait a bit to find a table. That said, I don't think it takes away from the experience you just have to time it right. We usually come for breakfast since they're open for breakfast and lunch, and this time I tried the Grande burrito. And let me tell you, "Grande" is not an exaggeration. That is a LOT of food. I got the bacon-smothered burrito with red chile, and it was delicious. Unfortunately, I could not finish it. I do wish there was something between the Grande and Junior because the Grande is a serious commitment, and I'm not sure the Junior would be enough. I'll have to try it next time and find out. My daughter ordered the steak sandwich, which comes with an Angus sirloin steak on Texas toast. It looked a little wild when it came out, but she ate it and said it was delicious, so apparently the presentation was just part of the experience. My son got the sausage, egg and cheese biscuits. He ate the whole thing, so clearly he approved. His only complaint was that the biscuit kept falling apart, but considering he's a little kid, I'm going to blame that one on the user rather than the biscuit. The staff has always been friendly during our visits. On this particular morning, a gentleman came around several times to refill our house coffee, which I always appreciate. Good service and a full coffee cup go a long way. And if you're into pastries and coffee, they have plenty of options. I've tried their blueberry muffin, and it is divine. They also have different baked scones, and I've had their lattes and macchiatos, which have all been really good. I still need to come back during the lunch hours because there are several things I want to try. The hot beef sundae caught my attention, and the Philly also looked really good. There are so many different options that I feel like I could keep coming back and ordering something different every time. This is definitely the kind of place where you can stop in, grab something really good, enjoy a little coffee, and get on with your morning. It's casual, welcoming, and consistently good. Limited seating is really my only complaint. Otherwise, I've been here multiple times and have yet to leave disappointed. Definitely a must-try!

The area looks old and poor, but near the restaurant, we didn't see anything sketchy. When we were leaving, we did see some homeless people at the main intersection, but we didn't see anything we'd describe as sketchy. We did notice there is a mobile home park behind the restaurant, but there is a wall between the mobile home park and the restaurant parking lot. Even if there were police surrounding the mobile home park, we'd still venture inside to eat. The food is that good. We shared the cowboy breakfast burrito and the Santa Fe pancakes. Both were filling and ridiculously good. The Santa Fe pancakes made with blue corn, roasted piñons, green chili, and cheddar jack cheese were different than anything else we've ever had. I'll admit I didn't love my first bite or two, but the more I ate, the more I wanted. The pancakes are dry, but if you drizzle some syrup, it's the perfect match. The accompanying eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. The cowboy breakfast burrito is massive, filling, and worth every calorie. Even though we were stuffed, we had to get the peach with green chile turnover. We asked if the turnover is served warm and our waitress replied that she could warm it up for is. I'm not sure that it is normally served warm, but I highly recommend it. The turnover flaky, the glaze was silky once warmed up and the peach with green chile was unique and delicious. Five star service and food. I highly recommend Vick's Vittles and hope that I'm in the area again so I can try more of this delicious food.
