SunO Dessert a laid back, cool atmosphere Coupled with great customer service If you like boba, desserts and teas craving a sweet treat? This is it Great place for students A date A spot to bring the kids to Jeremey the owner ( I believe that's how his name is spelled) Is all about that anime life And he has decked out this dessert spot into A full blast experience I had the volcano bowl And taro tea The tea was ok And the volcano bowl Turned me into a school kid For a moment or two A mirage of candy, cookie, and creamy plus ice When I talked to him about the store He told me "I wanted to make it look like my bedroom at home" Tons of Pokemon decor A few arcade games Wifi connection for those seeking sweets and Computer time They have ramen on the menu For these cold days And you can grab a pack of Pokemon cards They sell those too Well, I'm going back...

Huge fan of suno. I don't live in GA, so it is always a treat to get suno when I'm visiting. The seating area is pretty limited, but it's a nice atmosphere for hanging out with friends and family. Service was great. We were greeted promptly and asked if we had any questions or needed any recommendations. Once our order was placed, we had a short wait and our orders were complete. Flavor and texture of both the ice cream and bingsoo were on point. Very smooth and not grainy or icy like the competitors. I hope to be back on my next visit.

We're from FL but every time we're up in GA we make sure to stop by SunO. Love the shaved ice! So yummy with a variety of different toppings. Such a great place to grab a little sweet snack before heading back out in the road.

One of my favorite places for bubble tea. It is consistently delicious and it is cheaper than other places but doesn't taste cheap. The service is always friendly and I always feel welcome. They have recently revamped the space and it looks great. I definitely recommend checking them out for some great bubble tea.

This place has changed, and not for the better. This was my first time back since Covid and I was extremely disappointed. First of all, they are using the front left third of the space as a storage area, full of boxes. I know first hand that there is ample storage space in the back. The store has an overwhelming smell of cleaner, yet the place is very dirty, especially the air vents. The Thai Tea shaved ice has an odd, almost gooey consistency. The flavor is nothing like it used to be. My guess is that they are not using authentic Thai Tea because of the high price. I'm aware of how expensive it is and how time consuming the process to make it can be, but there truly is no substitute. I paid almost $10 for my dessert and left a $2 tip. The seating is poorly planned and the haphazardly hung turf that is stapled to the wall is just plain stupid. Here's the craziest thing.... after driving from Decatur to Buckhead and writing this lengthy review, the darned thing hasn't even melted at all. That's just not right. Such a shame that what was once one of my favorite places to treat myself has taken a turn in the wrong direction.

Bogo today! So worth the drive from Smyrna! Ordered both the SunO Pappinsu and green tea red bean ! Both for me ! You can freeze them and eat one later!

Covid precaution being followed. Revisited this place for our quick suno fixed but it does not taste as good as when we have it first. Maybe will retry it again when we come back and visit Atlanta.

Decent place for dessert. I tried the Thai ice tea flavor and it was refreshing but nothing earth shattering.

This place is so underrated! It's a hidden gem and I low key want to keep it to myself. In addition to the shaved ice, they have great bubble tea and, thanks to the student discount, it's way cheaper than other local boba spots (under $3 with the student discount). Plus each employee is so nice. Great service every time

Super fresh Hawaiian with strawberry, kiwi, and mango!

Love this little ice cream shop!…read more I've visited Butter & Cream before, but my latest visit was a favorite. After spending a sunny afternoon celebrating my besties birthday with her and a few of our girlfriends, we decided to keep the fun going with some ice cream. Never too old for a random sweet treat! Although we were already in the neighborhood, we lucked up on a day when everybody and their mama were outside, which meant limited parking. So we had to pay for parking on this visit, but ended up making it worthwhile by strolling around Decatur Square with our cones. I When we entered, there was one employee behind the counter and they were so kind. There were a few customers in front of us and some behind us in line, so apparently we weren't the only adults in the city who were craving a sweet treat. The store was so cute and covered in art and clocks created with ice cream scoops. We decided to taste a few flavors that were new to us and the employee was so patient with us. We all decided to go with the honeycomb flavor, and I added on a scoop of strawberry because I believe in treating myself. I was bummed that they didn't have sugar cones, but a waffle cone worked. My ice cream was SO good! And they were quite generous with the scoops. As I'm writing this out, I'm wanting a fresh pint of my own again. Such a great stop when you're craving something sweet!

I ordered the Cookie Monster with toffee cone bits on top. The texture of the ice cream was great, very smooth and creamy, which is exactly what you want. However, the flavor itself just did not come through. It almost tasted like a base without much depth. The only moments of real flavor were when I bit into the cookie pieces or the toffee bits, which were both enjoyable, but the ice cream on its own felt like it was missing something. It is a bit hard to describe because the consistency was there, but the taste simply did not match. That said, I am not writing Butter & Cream off at all. I have had other flavors here that were absolutely delicious, which is why I am willing to give this one another try. Overall, still one of my preferred ice cream spots in Decatur. I am just hoping for a little more flavor the next time I order the Cookie Monster.

We had to get someone's attention because we noticed other people seated after us were being waited on. We ended up with Sienna as our server. She started us off with complimentary bread. We decided to order our cocktails, appetizers, and entrees since we had been waiting. I had the sangria, and my husband had the limoncello. We enjoyed both cocktails. For appetizers, we had calamari and cheese sticks, and the cheese sticks were definitely our favorite--they had a unique twist. For entrees, we ordered the lamb ragu and the chef's special, which was seafood ravioli. To end the night, we had the brownie sundae with salted caramel gelato. The space felt clean, comfortable, and well-kept. The vibe was relaxing, thoughtful, and easy to settle into, which made it a great spot for a solo visit or getting some writing done. It had character and felt inviting, which I always appreciate in a coffee shop. Customer service was friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. My drink was enjoyable and met my expectations. I did not try any food during this visit because I'm currently fasting, but I saw countless people ordering food, and everything I saw looked amazing. I definitely plan to try something from the food menu one day in the future. My only cons are that I wish the space was just a bit bigger since it can get crowded pretty quickly. I also wish they had a larger bar area with plugs for laptops, along with a little more walking space around that section. For someone like me who enjoys writing or working from coffee shops, those small details would make the experience even better. None of this is a deal breaker, though. As far as value, the cost felt fair and pretty standard for a coffee shop. For me, a good coffee shop is not just about the drink -- it's about the atmosphere, comfort, cleanliness, service, and whether I actually feel inspired enough to sit and stay awhile. The Reading Room gave me that. I will definitely return in the future, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, peaceful, and welcoming coffee shop with a great atmosphere.
