Attended a wedding at the quaint beautiful Casa Bella in Sunol, CA last Sunday The venue was so very beautiful, with the ceremony outside, gorgeous pergola with drapes n flowers n the beautiful chandelier in the center with a beautiful water fountain in the background. We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at Casa Bella on October 12, 2019 and it was the most perfect day. We had looked at numerous venues and found something we did not like with all of them, until we found Casa Bella. I sent an email inquiry and received a response extremely fast. Within a week, we had toured the venue and reserved our date (we reserved our wedding date in August of 2018 and got married in October 2019). The venue itself has so many items included, we barely had to decorate! Our ceremony and reception ran so smoothly, and all of our guests had a wonderful time. We met with our day of coordinator twice before our wedding to go over details. We also attended their wedding fair and got to taste some of the food options which was very helpful. The food was delicious, and we received numerous compliments after our wedding. They even let us bring a taco truck in for a late night snack, which our guests loved! I fell in love with Sunol's Casa Bella the moment we stepped foot in it. Chris and I looked at multiple venues, some of them were hours away from home and none of them just fit what I had in mind. Casa Bella is just beyond beautiful from the outdoor ceremony to the chic indoor reception. What sealed the deal for us is that they provide EVERYTHING you could ever want and need. By that I mean, things such as signage, card holders, easel stands, wine barrels, games for cocktail hour and many more. I mean who wants to purchase these on their own and just have it stored somewhere after the wedding or resell them right? I sure am glad I didn't need to worry about purchasing these things. Casa Bella comes with the package when you sign that contract such as food, drinks, seat covers, linens, etc. They are very much open to all ideas you could ever possibly think of. I married into a Mexican family and they love to party so we actually paid for additional hours to party longer. We were allowed to work with our own vendors except for the DJ because they have a preferred list. It's kind of easier that way but there were some things we didn't like about our DJ when it came to communication. I stress out so easily and the littlest details can get lost in all the planning but I am very grateful to work with Marie, Leann and Dani who were very patient and easy to work with. We love it here! The inside is just so stunning and posh. We've been to a lot of wedding venues, and this is one of our favorites because of how much they have dressed up the space. It works for any style wedding too. The grounds are also great. There's a beautiful and intimate ceremony site with a gorgeous fountain, and across the street, there's an old train station and tracks that make for great photos. Picking this place had to have been the best decision of my wedding. It a hidden gem that most Bay Area people have probably passed 100 times and didn't know. When I first booked to tour this wedding the consultants were overbooked and for a minute I thought it was not going to be the right place for me, though I loved the view and I loved the small town feel of the place and the overall venue was gorgeous. Veena contacted me and apologized over and over. We set up another sit down and I am so glad we did. They have their catering company that they work with and the food was delicious. We got the beef, chicken, salmon, and a Cajun pasta. All of which people loved. The Cajun pasta was a little spicy but it was good. We opted for an open bar where we got to pick two signature drinks. I chose a lychee mojito and my now husband picked an old fashion. My guest loved the drinks. Bar tender was friendly and he worked really quick. Because of the view we were planning on outdoor wedding but due to rain we had to move it inside. My guest told me it was put together so well, had I not told them it was supposed to be outside they would not have known. They took care of every little detail for me. I didn't even have to decorate the area around the fireplace that we had to move the ceremony too, they already had it so beautiful but not over done. They allowed us to have a taco guy come for the late night snack. Originally he was supposed to be outside but they let him inside which was very nice. The bridal suit was gorgeous. I had ten bridesmaids and we all had space to move around. You are able to rent the suite out but we already had a hotel. Veena and Courtney really made my wedding so easy. They had back up items for me to borrow. They helped arrange my decorations. I needed a few signs out and they did it for me. I got a puppy a few weeks before the wedding and Veena was so nice to watch him for me because we were so busy. I can tell you this is the venue to pick if you want less stress. It so beautiful on it's own, I did not need to buy a million little extra things. And even though it rained and it was cloudy, we got some amazing shots at the train station across the street and there is a walk way with a Sunol sign that was gorgeous. I was lucky that the rain let up just enough that I got some photos with the view of the mountains under the gazebo. I also highly recommend using the bus for some shots so cute !!!! Casa Bella was the 1st venue that we visited and we fell in love with it from the start. Although we did our due diligence by visiting several other locations, our hearts were set on Casa Bella after that 1st visit. The outdoor ceremony area provided a beautiful backdrop for our wedding. The rustic and elegantly decorated main room fit our theme perfectly. We added a few touches to the space but honestly, the venue looks great and wedding-ready as is. We were able to borrow a variety of complimentary easels, signs and other similar supplies which was tremendously helpful. The Casa Bella team was invaluable throughout our entire wedding process. From scheduling our first tour through the end of our special day, Marie, Leann, Dani, Alfredo and the rest of the staff went above and beyond for us. They are accommodating and they genuinely care about the details and about creating the best experience possible for everyone involved. Where do I even begin...from start to finish it was a pleasure working with both Marie and Leann on our wedding day details. We had already seen a few venues prior to making it to Casa Bella and after reviewing pricing, availability, location, amenities, etc. it was easy to pick this venue for our wedding day. The garden area for the ceremony is perfect and the reception hall is beautiful and needs no extras but if needed the venue provides a variety of décor items for use. All communication was clear and both Marie and Leann were quick to respond. They really made our wedding planning process a breeze. The food provided by the venue is delicious! After our tasting, we decided on the tri-tip & salmon with garlic mash, I can't tell you how many guests raved about the food. We were able to bring our own vendors as far as desserts, florist, but the DJ is based off a required list, so just FYI. They allowed us to get creative with some décor options that my husband had planned to make for the pergola area and it all went accordingly and was set up without a hitch. This venue is great for a wedding. It was big enough for 20 tables (I think this is the max), yet it was cozy enough to feel intimate for a wedding reception. They have a really cool neon sign for photo opportunities for the guests. Our friend recently had their wedding ceremony and reception at Sunol's Casa Bella. After the ceremony, they had a decent space outside for cocktail hour. The only issue was that it was really cold and they did not have enough heat lamps to keep everyone warm. Once the reception area opened up for everyone to go inside, all was well again. Parking is pretty limited at the venue, but we were able to park down the street at a nearby school's parking lot. Luckily, there was a shuttle that went back and forth to this lot. read more

Casa Bella has a space for rent with their main spaces. It is around the corner and such a gem in the Bay Area. I almost don't want to tell you about it so its popularity doesn't make it super hard to book. It is such a unique place that is flexible for your needs. Meeting, social, photography set, or anything else where the space sets the tone- this your space. It is surprisingly large despite looking smaller from outside. Management is delightful. We got married 8 months ago and we still talk about it. They have done so much to really make this place an unbelievable venue for your wedding. We booked before anything was up so it was a bit scary but 9nce our wedding came around, the place was amazing. From the love sign out back, to the ceremony area to the reception hall, everything was better than we had expected. The pricing was very affordable. But the thing that made Casa Bella so memorable were the ladies who helped us plan our wedding. They were understanding, kind, helpful, suggestive, patient, fun, and so much more. Before getting married, i heard all these horror stories about how stressful it was and went by so fast that some couples didnt remember parts of it because they were caught up on things. This was not our case at all. On the day of our wedding, the ladies took care of everything. Setting the tables, running the schedule, coordinating with the vendors, making sure we ate and drank. We hired Sunol Casa Bella for our wedding celebration and our guests couldn't stop raving about the food and service. Chef made delicious brie bruschetta, chicken satay, and bacon wrapped scallops for appetizers with a crudite selection. Then we had filet mignon and salmon with farm seasonal veggies and scalloped potatoes. The catering service was outstanding. As a bride, you're hardly at your table but when I was, Marie (catering manager) made sure my husband and I were 100% accommodated for with coffee, tea, water, more food, or wine. She took great care of our guests too! My sister mentioned that as soon as her Coke got too low, Marie came by with the refill (without my sister even having to ask!) Marie gathered up the extra food and distributed it to our mothers to take home. Casa bella also gave us their decorations to rent included in our catering order! "Umm yes! I will definitely use the bird cage card holder because it's adorable and I would hate to buy one just for one event!" Also they had great COVID signs to remind guests to wear their masks and stay distanced! Marie and Veena (owner) took amazing care of us and accommodated us within 2 weeks of the event. Ya. We booked them 2 weeks ahead of the wedding because our previous venue cancelled on us and Casa Bella swooped in to save the day! After talking to Marie, it was solidifed for my husband and I that Casa Bella was definitely the right venue for us. The venue was gorgeous and the food was pretty tasty which made us all the more excited. This place is essentially a one stop shop which I loved and played a huge role in its selection as well..... until I had to deal with the coordinator.... As a person, the coordinator was very nice, but it just seemed like she was all over the place. For example, on the day of our first meeting, she would have missed it completely if we didn't call her. I work 12 hour night shift and my husband was in school full time and also had clinicals of various hours, so our schedules were really hard to align. So during that initial meeting, I had asked if we could schedule the follow up appointment so that we don't have this issue again. I talked to a co-worker who had also worked with Leann about my frustration and worries and she said to give her a chance and that she'll have it together. So that's what I did... I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, when emailing back and forth with her questions and clarifications on details, I told Leann how I was looking forward to that pre-scheduled meeting, she didn't recall having it at the time mentioned, so being the person I am, adjusted my time so that we could meet. Details were somewhat squared away but a lot of it just seemed circular. The day before the wedding, my husband and I brought supplies and other things to the venue. It was Marie who was there to receive them. In the 20-30 minutes it took us to drop everything off, Marie was asking us how and where things should (essentially what my "vision" or whatever it's called was). It took those 20-30 minutes of her asking and extracting the info that I felt somewhat calm and relieved in about a year's worth of planning versus the emails and meetings with Leann. I was very upset, but not wanting the coordinator feel bad about how anxious and flustered I was about everything, I kept my mouth shut, and left fighting my tears and then letting them flow in the car. I understand wedding planning stressful but I imagine that it should also have some fun. I had very little fun at all in planning this. I was hoping that having picked an all-inclusive venue would have helped ease my anxiety, but it didn't.... Fortunately, the original reason why we picked this venue was what was accomplished. The venue did come out beautiful and the food was delicious. Note: We had our ceremony elsewhere and used the ceremony space for cocktail hour. Be sure to time your schedule accordingly because we rented the space at the same our ceremony was happening and because of that we lost time that could have been for the reception. We ended up getting "kicked out" an hour before we thought the reception was over. **Overall, great place, no doubt. Just make sure you know exactly what you want, how you want it, where you want it, and when you want it. Perhaps it's because it don't have an eye for these things and needed more help than the next bride, but I was truly hoping that because we picked an all-inclusive venue that they would have helped me kind of figure it out a little more, especially with time and scheduling. It wasn't until about a week before the wedding, that I finally had a real idea of what was going on. read more

INDUSTRIAL AND CHIC. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL COMBO! Absolutely stunning venue, perfect for weddings or large private events. If you're someone who loves the combination of both industrial and chic all in one, this is perfect for you! I definitely think the owner had done a magnificent job mixing light with dark tones for this venue. This not only makes the place not look warm and inviting, but also adds so much character! My niece and her boo decided to have their wedding here in January, and boy, it was such a treat to be a part of it! Due to the slightly colder weather at the time, the venue was kind enough to not only put out a beautiful tent outside in the matrimony area, stringed with Einstein lightbulbs but they also provided plenty of heating lamps all around to keep my family warm and cozy. I really appreciated that top level of customer service form the venue, and it surely made the wedding guests very happy. I had no idea the scale of grandiose the reception area was until I walked inside. From the outside, it literally looks like any other building that would be near railroad tracks, but then you walk inside and you see beautiful chandeliers, white walls all around, but also some darker tones towards the back near the bar area of the venue with bricks, giving out not only a more industrial vibe but a very romantic one as well. My husband and I got married at Casa Bella July 2018. We still cannot get over how beautiful our wedding turned out. We received so many compliments about our wedding from our guests! Beautiful location (also a great place for stunning photo opportunities), delicious food and amazing professional staff! We recall checking out the venue early 2017 with Veena. She gave us a tour and laid out the wedding details. The time we were checking out the venue was when there was only about 5 weddings. This was back when the back lounge area was empty and all we saw was the sight of the train tracks. Veena had mentioned to us all the plans she had for the venue. My husband and I thought the venue was still beautiful enough and we liked what she had in mind--we decided to book our date. After booking we made several visits back to the venue and what amazed us was that every time we came back to visit, more and more additions were added-- the back lounge was finally completed, the garden had more additions, the love wall and a bistro! My husband and I kept getting more and more excited for our wedding day. From the day we booked our date, Leann worked with us. Every time we had questions Leann had responded quickly and made us feel at ease with the wedding planning. We also enjoyed Casa Bella's Bridal Faire where we got to do our food tasting, check out more wedding vendors and heard a sample of the DJ's. From the bridal faire we found our Florist. About two weeks before our wedding we met with Leann to go over the wedding day details.. she laid out everything perfectly. On the day of our wedding everything turned out the way as planned! Sunol's Casa Bella was the perfect wedding venue for us! We were originally planning to get married in July 2020 but had to postpone to June 2021. Every step of the way, Casa Bella's communication and support went above and beyond. We mostly worked with Leann who made sure every detail of our day was exactly as we wanted. She helped work with our vendors the day of as well which was a huge relief. Marie was our ceremony coordinator and did an incredible job as well at the rehearsal and on the actual day. They were so kind and attentive to us and made sure we were happy with each aspect of the day. They even brought us over snacks and drinks as we took photos, since they knew we hadn't had time to do so. I expected to feel stressed out leading up to the wedding and on the day of, but they made everything so easy. Leann and Marie were both present at the wedding and handled every detail perfectly. It ended up being 100+ degrees the day of our wedding so they helped make last minute changes like moving cocktail hour inside to make our guests comfortable. Our guests raved about the food and drinks. Everything was delicious! One of the best parts about Casa Bella is that it is so well decorated and beautiful on its own that there isn't much you have to do beyond that. Sunols Casa Bella is such a sweet spot for a wedding. I had the pleasure of photographing my couples recent wedding there and loved the venue. It's so wonderful that they have a space for the couple to get ready- so handy! The ceremony grounds have lovely garden plants, ornate pots, and a cute fountain that transport you into a secret garden feel. The reception space is large and so easy to dress up with your own decor and colors. I love how my couple had the dance floor in the middle of the space- it made for a very lively and fun event! This was our last stop in searching for a venue after searching for about two months and it truly the best for last. Casa Bella is impeccably decorated so we only had to add our personal touches like flowers and table decor. They are also very competitive pricing wise for the Bay Area. Their packages were very doable for us and the quality for the price is truly what sets this place apart. The Casa Bella team also goes above and beyond for their couples. I could not have asked for a better experience all from the tour, tasting, booking and planning! Marie, Leann, Veena and Courtinie truly made our wedding dreams come true. Our wedding day went so smoothly I could not point out a single hiccup. Everything was on time (contrary to wedding stereotypes) and the Casa Bella team was so attentive on the day. Leann helped make sure all the reception details went off without a hitch. Courtinie helped coordinate the ceremony and helped us figure out all the details down to walking order and coordinating music. Marie helped us with the rehearsal and let us rehearse as much as we felt we needed. And they are a dog friendly venue! This alone sold me. It was very important to include our dog on the big day and I am so happy that Casa Bella is where we have these memories with our boy on our wedding day to look back on forever. The weather on the day of was perfect and we got married at golden hour. My guests could not stop raving about how this was the best wedding they've been to and how stunning the venue was and the delicious food. There is so much Casa Bella provides and offers as add ons, it makes the planning much less overwhelming by trying to find it from outside vendors. The catering is required to use and you can book a tasting prior to booking, which was a huge plus and not something I saw offered from many other venues that had required catering. We did buffet style dinner and passed appetizers during cocktail hour which was perfect since we has less than 100 guests. The food was delicious and the evening of the wedding Leann had extra plates packed up in the bridal suite for us to enjoy as a snack. The bridal suite upstairs is available to get ready in prior to the wedding as well as for an overnight stay (for an additional fee). It is basically a small fully furnished apartment with kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. I got hair and makeup done at a nearby hotel and got dressed at the bridal suite in Casa Bella. It was so beautiful and spacious it was a great place to relax before the ceremony and after the wedding. Furnished like an HGTV magazine its truly stunning and so tastefully decorated. Overall I cannot recommend Casa Bella enough. Incredible hospitality, gorgeous decor and so many options to customize it. I wish them nothing but the success that they deserve. The moment you walk into the event center you are transported into a fairytale with chandeliers hanging and tear drop lighting that illuminate the area beautifully. There's a rustic chic vibe as you walk around the immaculate hardwood floors with floor to wall mirrors which create a vast airiness. The overall decor is set up elegantly, from the table cloths to the chairs (chiavari as standard!), everything flows in harmony. And don't sleep on the cafe connected next door as they serve the best tri-tip sandwiches. The staff is amazing. Marie served as a first point of contact and helped give us a tour of the event center. She was very friendly and accommodating, allowing us to make a couple tweaks to allow us to personalize our event. She was very attentive and quick to answer emails which both of us really appreciated. Leann and Courtinie served as our day of coordinators. The team was on the ball and allowed us to focus on our event and not to have to worry about the logistics, taking care of us like we were part of their family. Sunol's Casa Bella is everything we liked about the other venues we visited rolled into one. First off, all of the staff members were amazing. Veena always made us feel welcome and thoroughly explained the packages to us without any pressure. Our wedding coordinators, Leann and Dani, worked with our every request no matter how last minute. We heard that it can be pretty stressful planning a wedding, but thanks to them, we never ever really felt that way. The venue itself is already so naturally beautiful that we didn't even need to do much to spruce up the place. It has that rustic contemporary look that we're really fond of. Every wall, every angle, every detail is picturesque. Honestly, you could probably get away without a photo booth (but get one anyway because your guests will love it). One cool thing about this place is that they are dog friendly. Not only did our golden retriever, Simba, walk down the aisle during the ceremony, his two doggie pals got to stick around inside for the reception to hang out with him as well. Ahh, where to begin. I originally toured Casa Bella with the owner Veena in Oct 2017. This was my 5th venue I saw and was in AWHHH of everything. Veena designed Casa Bella herself down to every small detail (even the restroom, one of my favorite rooms). I love how everything is designed. You don't need to cover or design anything. The interior of the reception, had so many different wall textures, it made it amazing for any photo op. Not to mention the ceremony area is large and has a huge pergola. You can have Casa Bella drape the pergola for you as well. The bridal suite was amazing and they are dog friendly. I LOVEEEEE all the details of the venue and so I booked with Veena that same day. She was able to accommodate and allow me to book my venue early in 2017 although my wedding wasn't until March 2019. I have worked with Veena, Leann, Marie, and Claire for 1.5 years before my wedding. In all my emails to them, they would respond promptly and made sure I was taken care of. They were very professional. The day of our wedding, they checked up on us every 15 minutes to make sure we had everything we needed. We were able to leave our decorations, flowers, etc. there the day before which helped a lot (given there wasn't a party the night before). All my guest LOVED my venue. They loved the glam and the glitz of everything. As my friends say, the venue is as 'extra' as I am. I would highly recommend this venue for weddings or any occasion. read more

Amazing wedding reception venue! We were looking for a place that could accommodate both a traditional American wedding and an Indian style wedding at the same venue, We wanted to have a full buffet of Indian food and a full buffet of California cuisine. Well, it was hard to find any place that matched that description, but Casa Bella knocked it out of the park!!!! Casa Bella was able to offer us a mix of both cuisines and recommend vendors who would work with us to achieve our goal of a fusion wedding. The staff are amazing and will help you achieve everything that you have in mind. My experience with the team at Casa Bella was phenomenal from start to finish. The day I reached out through email, heard back from Veena and scheduled a tour. She showed us the space and answered all of our questions -- we absolutely LOVED the venue. It was the first venue we visited and felt confident about ending our search at that point -- which we did. Veena assisted with getting all of our details + decisions made, coordinated with our vendors, and was transparent about all costs involved. I loved her approach as she really catered to our needs and preferences, rather than as a sales-woman trying to sell everything they had to offer. I really appreciated her sitting down with me and going over everything we needed to get planned/done -- I was lost and overwhelmed not knowing what to tackle next. I remember the day we went to pay our deposit, Veena took the time to ask us about our story and the proposal. She really is perfect for this industry -- she loves what she does and it shows. Next, I worked with Leann for the menu tasting, scheduling the rehearsal and all of our contract needs. She was extremely patient as we sent the contract back and forth, revising our numbers and options -- so professional and easy going. She was also coordinating with all of our vendors on the day of our wedding. Everything was so smooth and went flawlessly. Marie also assisted on the day of, making sure I had enough water + food to get through the day, and working with our DJ to make sure transitions were made properly. This goes for the CB staff -- through the entire process, I felt no stress about the wedding planning or the ceremony, because of their support and attention to detail. If you are thinking of getting married at Sunol's Casa Bella you should 100% book this venue! They are much more than a business. Sunol's Casa Bella is more like family than business. Everyone one on their team is amazing. I would recommend DJ Toney for your music! Veena and her team were extremely flexible in helping us during the pandemic and never once told us no. Instead, they always worked their tails off to make our special day come true twice!! I can't say enough positive things about this place and hearing all of my friends horror stories of venues holding contracts against them and taking their money/deposits and not working with them, you can rest assure this place is not like that. Veena could have easily done that but she chose to act like a 2nd mother to my wife and even held her dress down the isle while working the the music during a pandemic. What other owner of a business would do something like that? I can't think of many. Go with this place you can thank me later! read more
