We used Tea Traditions for an event my wife and I were hosting for approx 20 people in July. The owner was being semi-responsive initially due to travel over the long July 4th long weekend. However, we hopped on a call a few days before the event and ironed out all the details. Coordination leading up to the event was great. We hired a server (Haley) for our event. Haley was extremely helpful and did a fabulous job! Overall service, coordination, food - very impressive. Now to the not so impressive part. Despite numerous back and forth emails and all the coordination leading up to the event, there was a critical mistake/mix-up in the food order. As a result, we fell short of food for our guests at the event. Never a nice feeling for a host when something like that happens. Really unfortunate because everything else about Tea Traditions was pretty decent. read more

From the time we put in our order to feeding our guests, Tea Traditions rocked it in all levels. Natalie was responsive to my questions, and made sure the food would safely get into the car. The guests and I thought the sandwiches, quiche, scones and fruits were all very tasty. For reference, we were expecting 24 people for a bridal shower. We ordered about 36 sandwiches, 6 quiches, and about 24 scones. We had about 18 sandwiches left, 4 quiches, and 12 scones left. Many of the guests took some home with them because it turns out they weren't really hungry. If I had another brunch or tea party, Tea Traditions would be the place I would order food from. Natalie was wonderful and went above and beyond - stayed during the party to help since the server wasn't able to, served tea, offered other drinks, etc. The food was great - we ordered the tomato goat cheese tart, chicken tarragon salad sandwich, cucumber sandwich, roast beef sandwich, salad, cranberry orange scones with lemon curd. In response to Lisa's daughter who messaged me to remove my prior review (not update but actually remove the review - had she asked me to reconsider the experience without XYZ, I would have been happy to reconsider), I said food was "fine." I didn't particularly like or dislike the food. It wasn't amazing...my coworkers thought it was amazing but this is my review and not my coworkers' reviews. While there were some unfortunate events with the owner's mom, who was the owner at the time I worked with them and not the current owner, that doesn't excuse the behavior of the rest of the staff who were also rude. There was easy parking...there's a parking lot in the back of the building. Had the business asked me to reimburse them for parking fees, I would have happily obliged but again, no one asked and there were at least 4 people that were working that day. All in all, current response and message from the new owner speaks for itself. Asking to remove reviews, confusing response, etc PS - never said that I'd hire you guys again after this experience...seems like this business just doesn't read or communicate well which is what another reviewer have mentioned as well in a 2 star review left 3 years ago. We decided to do something a little different for my wife's birthday. We had a tea party and invited all friends who also had little ones about the age of our kids (3 and 6), so it was approximately 11 adults and 11 kids. Tea Traditions exceeded all of our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious (everything was good, the biggest raves were about the quiche and the brownies, plus the tea of course), and our caterers Mary and Lisa were incredibly nice, professional, and courteous. They took care of everything! They arrived more than an hour before our party, set up a full buffet on one table, hot tea on another table, iced tea and lemonade in the kitchen, and kept everything refilled throughout the party. They had a little menu set up, they answered questions about the food, and they were great with the kids. They washed dishes in our sink and cleaned up everything when the party was over.
