When a family member almost dies and needs a wheelchair to get around, the stress one is under is tremendous, so I relayed on the what I call now "the sales pitch" but at the time, " I thought it was concern and kindness" Really awful expensive experience at Sunquest, they even blamed me, in an email, about a broken arm support, when somewhere who put a manual wheelchair together, used way to small washers, putting pin point pressure and it wasn't me that did that. I have the email for proof and photos, will post those at a later date. they will say the chair was a demo, but the arm rest was new, that's what I was told, and put on by someone at sunquest. the $450 cushion started falling apart with a few months, i was told that was new as well. read more

If I could, I would give this company a 0. I recently chose to order my mobility scooter from this company because the owner offered me a deal. He discounted the scooter, said he would delivery it for free and pick up my old scooter and give me an estimate for a minor repair. He promised this as I was going to purchase from another supplier closer to home to avoid delivery charges and they had the scooter on sale at the time. Well that was all fine until I paid $325.00 for a minor repair and picked up the scooter. Unfortunately when I picked up the scooter it was in worse shape than when I dropped it off. This scooter is for my elderly mother and know I have to find a repair shop to fix other problems that were not there before, but the owner is saying that that is how it was when he picked it up. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures or Anya's I trusted him. This is an added expense that we were not expecting. When I called the owner this morning he went off on me and hung up. I have been dealing with this company for over 5 years and have bought 2 scooters and various other medical supplies. After my altercation with the owner today and the way I was treated, I would never recommend them to anyone. I have been in there before when some elderly people have come in with complaints. Update to my previous review on May 27 2022. I did get the attention of the owners and received a call shortly after posting my review. They do care about their reviews. On June 26, 2022 he showed up to do the setup and adjustments. The problems seem to have been resolved. I felt bad that I had to resort to negative reviews to get the issues resolved but he was understanding. I understand everyone has personal issues and challenges exterior to work / business. I believe my problems fell through the cracks. Bottom line is everything has been resolved. read more

Worst customer service EVER! If you expect your elderly relatives to have their mobility scooters serviced by this company, I have to warn you about a couple of things. They will try their hardest to sell you a new scooter instead of repairing the one you have. My mom's charger broke last year and it took them two weeks to get around to sending someone out. The repair guy had gone on holidays and they didn't bother telling my mom who might have called someone else if she knew she would have to wait two weeks to be able to go get groceries. When they finally got around to it, they charged my mom about 70$ for a new charger. This year someone stole that very same charger. Sunquest Mobility insisted that the cost of a new charger would be 250$. The MOST expensive charger I found online was 79$. When my mom mentioned this to them, they flipped out on her , got super mad that she would even DARE to compare prices and were so incredibly rude ,that she can't call them ever again to repair anything else on her scooter. I find it entirely repugnant the way that senior citizens are continually ripped off due to companies that heavily rely on uninformed consumers to make their profits. read more

This place started out great but then the service tanked. I rented out an electric wheelchair, bed rail, and shower rail. Going to the store to get everything set up went flawlessly. No complaints there. When delivery came the wheelchair was set up in my home just fine, but the bed rail never got delivered. What was bad was trying to return everything. With a new baby we requested the wheelchair be picked up since it was going to be hard for us to drop it off. They agreed. The pick up kept getting forgotten. We then get a call saying they'd pick it up the next day. Then a few minutes later while we were out finishing lunch at a restaurant we get another call saying they'd pick it up that day... in 15-20 minutes. We drop everything right that second, race home with a screaming baby, get there in the time we said we would, and find out the guy came and left and they'd pick it up the next day! What the heck?! I was felt feeling pretty angry, jerked around, and with a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I was so hesitant to get a mobility scooter, I didn't know anything about them. My husband and I met with Scott and he patiently taught me everything I needed to know, even taking me on a 20 minute scooter ride down the street, through the mall, up and down ramps, insisting I practice 3-point turns and basically relieving all my anxiety. All this before I had even committed to getting a scooter (which I did). Scott has changed my life. I know that sounds melodramatic but my world was getting smaller, I rarely left the house because walking was getting so difficult. Two hours after buying my Go Go Travel Scooter I was zipping up and down the aisles at Walmart with my husband, shopping up a storm. Thank you Scott. read more

We dealt with this company when we needed a $5000 plus wheelchair for my dad. Great service while wanting the 5k. 2 years later my mom was in need of a walker and I phoned them from out of town, very distraught asking if they had info on the plan we had used for my dad as I needed to get a walker. I did not have access to internet, nor was in the area. I was told one thing then another. My calls were not returned. When I finally did contact them they said they would get us a loaner which my son who came from out of town picked up and order us a new one that we could send to extended health. My brother went back and was told it was $45 for the loaner. He was told they would then submit to the extended health. I called a couple of times to find out when hers was there and had they rec'd payment. I was told they would contact me. Finally while away out of town, I rec'd frantic calls daily from the girl wanting the loaner returned right away. 7 calls in a week! I call her back and all of a sudden we are paying the full price which we could have in the first place and saved the rental fee. I do not live in the same town and work full time days and asked if they could deliver the new one or I could not get it until the weekend. They did deliver. When I called to ask why they didn't charge it to the extended health, I was told they don't do that. So then why did I pay for a rental when I have to pay it all my self anyways. I called to ask why, was told I was rude and had an attitude etc etc. and he had heard it from all his sales people. (All two???) He said he had bent over backwards for us. (Isn't that was customer service is?) I said I felt that they only were interested in us when we had a $5000 purchase. He told me my mom was happy so why did I care? (Excuse me?????)... My mom is happy with everything as her mind is going and knows nothing of the circumstances!!!! He then said that "Do you know how many people I have to deal with like you??) I asked him to listen to himself and was I taking it for everyone who annoyed him? He said he was not going to listen to me and hung up. Glad I am only 60 and able to deal with this as my poor mom would have been beside herself as I am sure others are too. Maybe they are the ones who also "have an attitude" that he was referring to. Just saying. I work in a medical pharmacy and have for over 35 years. I sure will NEVER recommend this place. read more
