How they are still in business I have no idea from forgetting about a patient in the chair twice with their mouth propped open with a crown molding inside. Going in for a crown and ending up getting root canal and being told everything is "100% good now " to not removing all the nerves and bruising her jaw in multiple places. Then when we do contact them about it they call my wife and talk down to her, speak to her like she is an invalid, get defensive and blame her when she asked for a refund and her dental records, oh yea and then to handle the situation with myself this morning with the attitude, disrespect, and arrogance that this lady did is despicable. I did not raise my voice, I was not argumentative I simply wanted a resolution, and she could not give one or even give a time frame to follow back up with me. I want a formal filed complaint against this Dentist *Dr.Dongho Kim DDS A complaint filed against the office of Arlington Family Dentistry and I want to see the lady that called my wife and that I dealt with, that called the cops on me, she needs to be terminated. And I want to be contacted with a resolution to this and some kind of compensation for the two botched visits, the multiple days of work lost because of the poor jobs performed, the mistreatment and disrespect from the staff and having to have the same procedure redone with a different provider. I came in early November for my first appointment, it was just a cleaning and to get a quote for having teeth removed and getting impressions made for dentures. After seeing the quote and having a conversation with my wife, I decided to continue. For starters, the dentist and his 2 assistants I dealt with are fantastic people. They obviously care about their jobs. From talking to them briefly, they seemed new to working for this place in particularly but you couldn't tell if they didn't tell you. My first of 4 appointments ended when I got my impressions done for my temporary dentures. I paid what was asked for me and made my next appointment three weeks away. Visit 2 started with the extraction of the bad teeth and fitting of the dentures. I was in love with this temporary solution, I could smile again. I remember hugging the dentist before I left and telling him thank you many times. I went to the front desk to pay what I owed and this where my experience with this place starts to go sideways. I'm greeted with a woman with very long blond hair and ask many questions. When do I make my next appointment? How long does it take for the final dentures to be made? These are the two question I was mislead on. Six weeks after my last visit is when I get a bill in the mail. It's for a bill that surpasses my quote by $200 dollars. Look, I get quotes are just an estimate but I still have two appointments left, final impressions and then placing and it's already over. I take a drive up there trying to get some answers and I'm not thrilled with how it goes. The woman I had the discussion with on my prior visit is there and all the discussion with those above two question are nothing close to what she answered the first time. She told me they'll call me in less than six months for the permanents and it'll be in less than six months. What she said in this visit was I was to call and make an appointment after my gums heal and new impressions need to be made. I take notes and ask questions like a detective and it's impossible I was mistaken. As I looked into her eyes while talking to her, she couldn't even make eye contact. She looked at her computer screen and couldn't stop blinking from how uncomfortable she was. I talked to the owner who itemized the bill to describe why I owe as much as I do and recommends calling my insurance for assistance. Why do I need to call my insurance? I'm not the one who needs to deal with them, if there's an issue. I politely told them I was going to hold off before paying the rest of the bill I currently owed. A week after this visit and clearer head from frustration, I arrive to pay the remaining balance and leave. If I would have just used this place for routine visits, it would have probably be an easy 5 stars, but I was quoted incorrectly, deceived by front staff, and asked to deal with insurance myself. All this leaves such a bad taste in my mouth, I cannot give anything above a one. Just thinking about this makes my stomach turn. I will say one positive thing before I move on. I've had anger problems my whole life, it's just an emotion I can't control. I have recently started to improve on it in my life and this whole experience could have easily brought this anger back. I am proud to say I was always able to keep it in check despite the layers of frustration I had to face. This is one improvement in my life I am very thankful for.

We've gone back for several appointments since and every time they are so gentle with my Mom who is very anxious and has Alzheimer's. Monica and Dr. Aljuboori have been so patient with my Mom. They were able to get her to relax enough to do a full lower extraction today. Dr. Aljuboori said she was treating my Mom as if it were her Mom and it is very evident. And they have been treating every patient with the same kindness. My Mom has a new cute smile now and we couldn't be happier. Also a shoutout to the front office staff. He offered great suggestions as to what to do to help my teeth. He also gave me a referral to an orthodontist in the area that has worked on his own teeth! Kimberlee was the hygienist who did my cleaning and she was great! She explained to me the importance of keeping up with my oral care (which is a given) and offered me a few tips to make taking care of my teeth a little easier. She was easy to talk to and I am thankful that she really took the time to clean my teeth since they easily build up plaque. I tend to have anxiety when I go to the dentist or even think about going. It is part of the reason why I procrastinated being seen. I absolutely had none here. The thing that sets them apart is everything they plan on doing is explained throughly so you always know what to expect. After getting stitches at urgent care, Dr. Cho and two of his team members got me in after hours to begin the repair process. He was able to remove one tooth and put in some cadaver bones, and shave the other two down. They were able to order me a temporary tooth until I'm able to get a full transplant matching my tooth color. He also was able to get me an additional appointment within 36 hours for the crowns needed on my other teeth. Addressing my injury aside, Dr. Cho was a calming and gentle presence in a very traumatic time. He worked with my husband and I on insurance and billing, answered all our questions and talked us through the process. We are extremely thankful!
