Came here around 11:30 and there was barley any donuts available, me and my dad left and went to a different shop.

I love sunrise donuts been coming here since they opened. The owner is nothing short of kind every time I see him. Years ago they hired a Hispanic man who has maybe a few years ago been entrusted to be the opener And overseer of the store on the days the owner is not there. And he is not as pleasant nor does he conduct the store how the owner does. One day I went with my daughter to get a donut around maybe 10 or 11am as I was parking I noticed a line outside the door. People were knocking on the window looking through the glass checking closed times that's on the window (which they weren't set to be closed for another 4 hrs) I'd say maybe 15 mins later the Hispanic man came and unlocked the store when I got in he had such an attitude and he was sick. I remember looking up at him as he was wiping his nose with his bare hands then holding the tongs to grab donuts and when I went to tell him which donut my daughter wanted he cut me off and spit out a big thing of mucus in the trash can by the coffee pots I was disgusted and ended up telling him we didn't want anything. Every time he's there the donuts aren't good there's barely any out and it's a long wait. Today we waited at least 10 mins in a line of maybe 8 people to pick out from a very very small selection of donuts while he was in the kitchen. I wish they had posted the days the owner would be there so I know when to avoid going. read more

Let me tell you, these guys have great donuts. Fresh yada yada, But it's the banana nut muffins that will blow you away. I've had good banana nut muffins, heck I make my own sometimes, you can go to Costco to get that huge mix of muffins. BUT THERE is ABSOLUTELY no MUFFINS like these, I literally go through muffin withdrawal if I go to long without. The only problem is, the hours of business. This guy opens at 4:30 am and closes at 2:00 pm. Ive been so sad, 3 xs this month because I screwed up on the hours. Ok why are these better than anywhere else, it's the nuts, (sorry if your allergic) this guy puts so many pecans and they are the entire half of a whole pecan, then the way he baked them omg, they are crisp outside and so soft and moist on the inside.I told the owner, you need to sell them outside of your store, because of your hours. If you do nothing else this week or next, go get a banana nut muffin from this guy, you won't be sorry. I'm kinda stingy on my reviews. This guy deserves an applause, oh the flavor, you know how some banana nut look so good and you get teeny nuts chopped up. And they are flavorless? These are sweet, mmmmgood! 2nd time I came early in the morning, and they were still out of jelly filled donuts, creme donuts ect. They only had a couple types of donuts, which I find ridiculous for a Saturday and Sunday. I went to order the ones they had since I drove all the way over there, and I was going to be charged for a box, and to use my debit card... on top of the almost $10 for HALF a dozen donuts. Yah, no thanks. I went up the street the the place next to home depot. They were nice. Charge less for the same thing, and they're open past 2pm. Save your time and go elsewhere. read more

Unfortunately for them, it's not a positive one. Most recently I went in at 9 am on a Friday! They were completely sold out of glaze donuts, and majority of the other ones as well. 9am on a weekend! This has happened the last several times to me going there before noon, but 9 am.. COME ON! I wanted a half dozen so I picked a few hoping to make due with what they had. When ordering the 1/2 dozen (which were all the raised yeast donuts) the girl working tried shoving them all in one bag. I asked her nicely if she could please split 3 in each bag as I didn't want them to get smashed. Thinking they were fresh, this would cause them to get smashed She told me they all fit in the bag and continued to shove another one in the bag. I asked again and said I would like them in 2 bags please so they don't get smashed. She had the biggest attitude and tossed the donuts onto the rack, to get 2 bags. Why would I want smashed donuts?! Or her attitude for No REASON! So ridiculous!! Lastly, the donuts were not fresh. 4 out of the 6 were thrown away. I was so bummed. I got them to share with my kids and now I failed them.. Such a waste of my time and money. I'm not sure if the business sold, but it's definitely not the same donut shop that originally opened, nor the quality of donuts or customer service. I was picking up donuts for work. The employee proceeded to stuff the donuts in a small paper bag. I asked for a box considering it was a dozen donuts, and going to work, where employees would grab the donuts they wanted. I was told .50 charge to put donuts in a box!! Why should I be charged to put the products I am buying in a supply? Then to use my debit card, they charge .85. Why? I proceeded to another donut shop. I didn't have to ask they simply grabbed a box for the donuts. I was not charged for the box. And they did not charge me to use my debit card. I will drive the distance, before ever doing business with this donut shop again. read more

The doughnuts were delicious, customer service not so great. Went in five minutes before closing maybe that's why the lady wasn't so inviting. I asked if they had whip cream and that tone coming from her was so rude. I asked again because I was excited for the whip cream her tone was even worse the second time. Before I could ask to get whip cream on my items she said no sorry we can't do that. Don't know her name but she's a young girl with a lot of acne (no it's not rude, it's descriptive). However, I recently noticed a women employee that was very rude to customers. Telling them to read the menu themselves, her tone and demeanor is little aggressive. Came in today on New Years and they had an assortment of donuts. I was glad that they were open earlier today. Who doesn't want donuts to celebrate the new year?! I got a mixed dozen donuts. They all looked soooo good and fresh. When I ate a sugar donut it was so light and fluffy. It was everything that you want a donut to be.
