Called in and made an appointment for a pedicure. When I arrived, they had me soak my feet but I waited 40 minutes until my service was started.. I told one of the techs I had to leave and would rather come back another time when it's not so busy, but she kept insisting that a tech would be with me soon. On top of waiting so long, I did not get what I asked for. The tech cut the corner of my toe nail off, after I asked for square shape. When questioning her about it, she said I came in with broken toe nail (which was not the case). Pricing is decent, but beware.. you get what you pay for. read more

I went here even though I read the reviews and I regret it so much!!!!!! I wanted a simple fill, which was $25. Spendy but whatever. She started taking off my polish and she used this awful cotton that stuck to my nails and took forever. Then she started saying "oh where did you go before.. these are bad, they are lifting." I go to a place in clackamas which has nothing but raving raving reviews and is GREAT. She started clipping my acrylics to remove them and just do a new set and she cut part of a chunk of my nail off one finger and then cut a layer off another finger making BOTH bleed!!!! When I told her I was bleeding and unhappy she goes "oh you just have thin nails." I told her I didn't wanna continue and I asked to just leave and she made me pay $10, for what???? Just to have my acrylics removed? Ridiculous. Another worker kept saying "you're gonna be unhappy when you go home, they're too frail, just get new acrylics and the powder will help." Uh no. Very nice salon. We were in for a walk in nail service. Within 10 minutes of arriving a gentleman brought out heated neck wraps!!! And another gal working asked if with my daughter or I would like a no charge Mimosa or other beverage. Very nice and it was our first time in, so we were a bit impressed. My daughter had a rhinestone jeweled bauble added to her nail and it was very cute. The technician had many nail add ons to offer. Well I honestly waffle between loving this place and being fed up with it! We (mom and I) try to be courteous and make appts for pedicures but then when we arrive, are made to wait 20 min past our time bcuz they've taken so many walk ins that no one is available. On the other hand, when we needed to utilize them for acrylic fills one time when our regular guy was sick, they were happy to oblige, at short notice. Another thing that drives us crazy is the estheticians commenting to each other in their own language after asking us a question and getting our answer. HOWEVER, their pedicures are quite good and in an area of higher pricing, quite affordable. (They do try to 'upsell' U all the time, but can't blame them for trying!) So, that's why the 3 stars but not due to their work, that's usually stellar! read more

I went here with my bf to get a pedicure and it was good. So I came back to get a full set. My appointment was at 2:30 and I sat there until 2:55. When I finally got helped the woman seemed angry the entire time. Wasn't even going to clip my nails down until I asked. When she did, she pinched my skin then got the glue in it, which burned. She put my index fingernail on crooked and didn't get the acrylic on my ring finger in the corner all the way. Then she asked if I brought my own file. Never in my life have I been told to and she charged me an $1 extra to use one and seemed irritated that I didn't bring one. Not only that but the prices weren't listed so they can just tell you whatever price they want. I will not be returning. read more

Well they are soak off nails and instead of soaking them to get them off she used a nail tip to pry under the fake nails and ended up riping my finger nail in half and tearing a strip of nail off of my finger. read more

horrible. didn't do my cuticles on my hands or wash my feet or anything when they did my pedicure and manicure. a guy came in to get rid of an ingrown toe nail and after she was done with him she didnt bother to use gloves or wash her hands. the vibe was very awkward. read more

Nancy started my nails and I was happy to have her do them after she said she had been doing nails since April of 1990, but she sent me to Tina to complete. I have an overlay over my natural nails and as she was going through the process, I pointed out several nails that were not covered completely by the gel, she said she would fix it, but did not go back to them. When she pulled out the cream and buffer to buff them, I again showed her parts that were not covered and uneven, she said it was due to the way the previous person did my nails. She continued to prepare to buff as if she was finished when I asked her again to fix it. After no response I asked her not to buff them because they were not right, she said ok, $26. No attempt to provide a solution. I will not be returning and if my daughter were not with me, I would not have been as polite. read more

My mom and I went to check out this little nail salon and let me tell you how clean and nice it was in there! We were treated nicely, were served wine and were able to sit in the massage chairs to get out manicures after our pedicures were done. They are very economical, do a great job and it was no problem to get a reservation right away. They also did great on the eyebrow waxing and it was quick too. DON'T let the male tech Ryan do your nails! He is incredibly rude for starters. He yanks your hands around, and he is BEYOND harsh to the point of pain that you can't handle. He talks about how he is a perfectionist, yet the nails come out mediocre and unworthy of paying. Nancy is the one you want to see!!!!!!! I used to go to this place when it was Aura Nails, which I always enjoyed the quality of service from.. Today was the first time I've been since it was sold and reopened under the name Sunrise Nails. I'm actually very disappointed because I was always happy with what I walked out of this place with before, but for my first time with the new business, I am horrified with the way my mani and pedi turned out. after sitting for nearly an hour waiting while one person got a fill on their acrylics, I was finally walked over to my pedi station where I was greeted by an old man that mysteriously appeared out of the back... apparently he was going to do my services. the whole time he was shaking because he was so high on drugs. several times I had to ask him to file my toes evenly and remind him that he was scalding my feet with boiling hot water. I was quickly rushed over to the mani station where the same quality of service was continued.. I deperatley wanted to ask one of the two younger women that were lounging in the massage chairs to instead do my nails. but they were clearly occupied by their own pampering. before the man started to pain't shellac on my nails I had to pull my hand away and physically file my own nails so that they would be even and shaped correctly. and then made him wait until my fingers stopped bleeding from chopping my cuticles far too short. for some reason I continued to let him finish... he rushed thru slapping the color on my nails, which is clearly apparent from the looks of the finished product. globby, uneven, smudged and color all over the skin of my fingers. I wish I had the balls to ask for a refund because I have never been so disappointed in a nail service in my life! before putting my shoes on when leaving I was finally able to notice the horrendous quality of my pedi as well. I bit my tongue and kindly thanked the man who clearly had no care in the world weather or not I was satisfied... because I was clearly not. I then paid for the horribly over priced crappy service and left to my car to instantly warn anyone who ever considers coming to this place to spend their hard earned money. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! if I can save one person from the experience I received today I will feel so much better about it. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE. I've been here three times now, drawn in at first by their 20% off grand-opening special. The first time was a full set of pink and whites and a pedi, the second was a fill, and today I went in and had some custom shellac tips with a design (new set) and each time they have been fabulous. Free wine, one of those toasty rice-filled neck rolls, comfy spa pedicure chairs. They do a fantastic and meticulous job. I feel like a nag with all of my little nit-picking over details, but they just happily fix things I want fixed. Prices are reasonable, even without the discount (but I do love the discount), I never have to wait more than a few minutes, and the results have been fantastic and long-lasting. Went to the solon and had to wait 45 min, when I sat down I changed my mind about getting acrylics and the lady said "I stayed here for you to get your nails done stop changing your mind" so I just went along and just got the acrylics, when she started to use a electric file she burned my skin and kept doing it even tho I said to be more closer to the nail not the skin, when she started to paint my nails she started to mess up and didn't care at all, definitely not coming back they did a shitty job. I LOVE this place. Tina is so sweet and welcoming every time I come in. I love that they actually offer drinks every time and during the cold season, they have nice and warm neck wraps that smell so good. HIGHLY recommend. It's too bad that these other people had bad experiences because I never have and have had lots of friends and family go and keep going because they love the place! First the good..it was clean. That's it. No prices listed anywhere. Went for a pedicure. There was a sign outside saying spa pedi $20. About 10 mins into the pedicure she asked if I wanted the deluxe pedi and I said no just the $20. She then told me that she had to charge $6 to remove my polish unless unless I did the deluxe. Seriously? Told her to go ahead with the deluxe but I wasn't happy at that point. Fastest DELUXE pedi ever. She rubbed the hot stone up and down my legs a couple of times and that was it. All kinds of little cuts around my cuticles and she cut one of my big toe nails ALOT shorter than the other. Could have had a 5 yr old paint my nails and do a better job. Polish seemed thick and gummy. I came home and took it off and did them myself. She got up at least 3 times while doing my pedi to start or work on other customers. There was an elderly lady getting a pedi and they were so obviously talking about her feet even though I couldn't understand what they were saying. I have been going to this place for way longer than I should because I was loyal to my manicurist, but I've finally had my last visit after going to the place across the street and getting way better service and quality. In the time I've been going, I've been regularly frustrated with the following: * Having to wait long periods past my appointment time because they take walk-ins and are no longer available at my pre-arranged time * Dirty and unhygienic practices * Thinning of polishes so they chip or lift within a day or two, even with shellac * One manicurist openly picking his nose for 20 minutes while I got a pedicure, something I have had trouble forgetting * Always talking on the phone while performing my service * Clearly talking about customers in another language in front of them * Pushing the use of cash only and using their cash machine * Gossiping to me about other customers * Unapologetically cutting my fingers and toes I won't be going back! read more

I usually come here to get my full set done and usually see Tracy I believe. Since I hadn't been in a while I just walked in and got my nails done by whoever was available. This is the first time I've seen a male in there working, I will not be coming back because of him. He was very rude and pushy, there were multiple times where he had caused pain with the dremel too. I asked for acrylic and was told they no longer do acrylic the only do solar and get now. He said its better to pay more money and get the solar nails which I normally do but I wasn't planning on keeping them, I just wanted them done for christmas... I get my nails really short, I kept telling him to make them shorter and he basically told me NO that longer nails are better... I'm not impressed with them at all! He eventually made them shorter after I had to tell him 3 times! I get my nails square and some of my edges are round and some square, there are flat spots in them and thick spots in other places... I went in the first time about a month ago, and had a very wonderful experience with Tina. I needed a fill, and called and made an appointment with Tina. When I got there, the salon was very full, I was asked how can I help you, I told them I had an appointment with Tina and they said she would be with me in a moment. The next thing I know, I'm being put with someone else who is not Tina, she was very rough and cut me 3 times to the point of bleeding and was very condescending and rude. I asked why I wasn't with Tina who I was scheduled with, and they said because they double booked her. I was not happy, but tried to make the best of it. After being rushed through my fill, I couldn't even squeeze by all the chairs to go wash my hands, and felt very intimidating by the rudeness of this salon. When I went to pay, she told me it was $23... then ran my card for $24. When I asked what the $1.00 was for, she said they charge everyone a dollar to use the card machine. Really... at least tell me as I may have cash. She just looked at me like what's the big deal. They lie to you, have you wait much longer than anticipated and are very rude. I wouldn't have them do my dogs nails.... let alone mine ever, ever again!!!!!!! read more
