Both my kids are undergoing orthodontics here and as a dental professional myself, I love how thorough they are at the initial appointment. Their consult room has a dental chair inside where photos, exams and treatment plans can be discussed. Their prices are fair, they're in network with Delta Dental, and their monthly payments are super duper helpful. We are always seen promptly at our appointment times and the check in system is super easy. They even have a room equipped with iPads and games to keep my kids occupied while waiting, and most importantly there's toothbrushes readily available for the kids!! My only complaint is rescheduling an appointment is extremely difficult, but I guess that is a testament to their practice and how many patients come. Thanks, Sunrise! read more

Office staff is always very welcoming and friendly. I have been taking all of my girls for ortho care to Dr. Sanders over the years. transparent, affordable and treatment is in phases. My youngest will be getting hers off in late Jan 2025 and into retainers until some more teeth start coming in. Kids can earn these ortho bucks for hygiene, being on time etc. Once they accumulate , they can redeem them for gift cards. A nice incentive when treatment is done. They accept most PPO and some managed care. Better give them a call though to get the details on the PPO plans and type of manage care they accept. There might be age restrictions as well. read more

The rest of the staff is friendly, caring and helpful. This office does not keep their words. My aligners broke out of the box. They promised there will be no charge to get it replaced. When I came by to pick them up, the material was very bad. When I complained about it, they want to charge me $400. And when I showed up for my appt to pick up my new aligners, they had me wait for more than 20 minutes. Once I got all of my aligners/retainers, I will never come back nor recommend this place to anyone. read more

So my son had a really bad bite problem and required extensive treatment from Sunrise Orthodontics. Dr Matthew Sanders and his team were phenomenal throughout the entire, lengthy process. My son ended up in his braces for much longer than anticipated- primarily due to our own lack of care - my now teenager was horrible about putting his rubber bands on regularly, causing a lack of progression and a much longer treatment period. Dr Sanders and his crew remained kind, compassionate, and non-judgmental throughout his treatment. I truly appreciated all of the devotion to my kid, and would recommend their team to anyone considering orthodontics for their family member. My son goes here but for being a spot mostly for children, their office hours are horrible. Kids always have to miss school to be seen. Maybe change your hours!! My other kid will not be going here. Before I came to Sunrise Orthodontics, we had had 2 other consultations for my daughter. The first one, I nearly fainted as they wanted a down payment on a mansion. The second one, the treatment plan, just didn't make sense- Why did you want to shave her teeth? I contacted Sunrise Orthodontics on a co-worker recommendation and omeygoodness, they blew the other two OUT OF THE WATER! Not only was the total price more considerate, the treatment plan was more realistic...they didn't ask for a mansion down payment, nor needed to shave my daughter teeth! Zaira was our Treatment Coordinator and she was so friendly, honest and broke down every single information. She is very thorough and answered my million plus questions. She gave such a human touch and is still very approachable to this day! Dr. Kim came in, and she was so friendly, went over the needs of my daughter...explained everything..and actually she was so honest, telling us that due to a 90% overbite, that the top braces would go first..then a couple months the bottom. If both top and bottom had gone Iin at the same time (like the first two places said) her top teeth would have broken the lower ones- causing not just pain, but more costly treatment, as the bottom would need to be constantly replaced! This is just a sample of how friendly, honest, truthful they are. Josie, she was the one taking the payment..such a nice funny person, straight forward, told me about the scheduling procedures and provided documentation for everything! P.S GET THE LIFETIME RETAINERS INSURANCE! The Orthodontic assistants, I believe it was Ashley, and I think Yasmin, Stephanie...and I cannot remember the other 2...they were respectful, nice, super patient... THIS IS the place to get your Orthodontic needs! We are super happy with them! My other son will need braces latwr on and we will definitely be going to Sunrise Orthodontics! I had such a great experience at the Rancho Cordova office! The atmosphere was very welcoming and inviting and I didn't have to wait to be seen. The staff was even more amazing. I went in to see about getting Invisalign and both the treatment coordinator Zaira and orthodontist Matthew Sanders were great at answering all of my questions - I truly felt like they would really be taking care of me and my teeth. I believe this made all the difference in deciding to get Invisalign right then and there! (I would normally give myself a few days to make a big decision like this due to the big investment!) My grandson came to Dr. Sanders for his Invisalign treatment. I liked that the appointments were every 10 weeks so he missed very little of school. At times when I needed to be able to drop him off and come back to pick him up from appointments they'd give me a quick rundown of what he was doing right and any improvements that were needed to help the process along. Best orthodontist ever. I've been going to dr. Sanders for a few months now and he has been nothing but helpful. He's real knowledgeable about what he does but at the same time has alot of patience and is willing to squeeze time out of the day to explain things. I'm more of the paranoid type and I've literally sat down with him like 5 times to discuss my treatment and things that are bothering me, he had recommended a treatment plan for me that was great and a good price but I didn't want to be in braces for 2 years so I went with a lesser method and even though it's not whats the best he's willing to work with me and try and make it right. The place is awesome. Tv's everywhere, and a game room with 2 elite xbox 360's. Everything is just chill man, makes you feel taken care of when you walk in. Do yourself a favor and check this place out before you get any ortho work done, I had first got my free consultation but never got work done until more than 6 months later but they were cool with that. I went in for a consultation for my TMJ problems and was really impressed with Dr. Sanders and his staff. The office is really nicely decorated and the wait was very short. The office is perfect for young people with video games and videos if the wait is longer. Dr. Sanders spent a long time with me going over exactly what was going on with my jaw.
