Parking was free and easy. Once you get to the entrance gate, you'll be greeted by staff to show your admission ticket or buy tickets. It's reasonable priced. I purchased the admission with ride and getting a sunflower option. Service was fast and friendly. There's a station near the front to line up for the hay ride which approximately runs every 15-20 minutes. But my friends and I decided to explore other stations before doing the hay ride. There were mini houses and mini log cabin displays to check out. There was a mini kart race track that adults and kids can actually grab a kart and peddle around the track. That was a fun experience! There's also a okay ground that both kids and adults can play Through the courses.. Once we got through the stations, we headed back to the entrance to wait for the hayride. The hayride would bring us way back into the fields where you can see them growing peppers, sunflowers and pumpkins. We were dropped off into the sunflower fields to browse, take pics and then eventually able to pick a sunflower or flowers form the fields at the end per the packages we laid for. I had to leave early so I was t able to cut one for myself. But would love to come back another time to experience it again haha.

They have great prices on steaks, brisket, miscut cheese and assorted name brand foods. They even have a produce section. Give them credit they do an amazing job about making sure their products have shelf life, look good, and are of quality. They also have a lot of variety other stores don't, they offer a lot of popular products. Ultimately you need to understand with a store like theirs you are buying products that are overstock. They are nearing an expiration sell date, they're miscut, not in groups of 12 or not boxed correctly. This means you save and you save big here! I discovered this store a couple of months ago and I've returned multiple times for my energy drinks and will continue to do so. This store is amazing!

Saying hello to your customer is of paramount importance, it lets them know their loyalty is important. Over the past 2 to 3 years, a particular older woman working there has waited on me many times. I can honestly say her attitude borders on hostile. Not once have I been greeted when using her lane. Today was no different. No smile, no hello, nothing to suggest I was anything but an inconvenience. Not once has any other employee demonstrated such cold, unwelcoming behavior. My fear is she may be the wife of one of the owners. I enjoy the store for many reasons but the poor customer service demonstrated by this woman, Cashier 0020, is reason enough to cease going. Bruce's management: if she is someone's wife, I feel sorry for you. If not, perhaps it's time to school the older gal in appropriate customer service. Not only was the place beautiful, the food was great and looked like the place actually cared about what and how they grew their foods. They even give away free stuff if you've never tried it before. I bought some berries from Natura Farms at the Mill City Farmers market this weekend, and had a…read moreminor problem with the berries - I contacted Paul with Natura Farms and the next day he personally replied to my email, addressed my concerns and offered unsurpassed customer service. He even went so far as to give me his wife's and his granddaughter's personal cell phone numbers since his was broken at the time. I will most definitely shop from Natura Farms again because they truly care about their product, their customers and they have such an amazing selection of fruit. We will definitely be making the trek to their farm to see their fields in person. Again, I cannot recommend them more, I've never had a company go to such pains to rectify a situation and to keep a customer happy - 10 gold stars!

My sister and I went to the Scandia Farmers Market on its opening day and had a great time! In the…read morepast, the Farmers Market was held at Gammelgarden Museum (across the street from the Scandia Community Center). However, due to COVID-19, it is now at the Community Center to ensure that there's enough physical distance between vendors and customers. We were welcomed by Gammelgarden Museum's intern who showed us where to wash our hands before entering the market. There were clear in and out directions to ensure an easy flow of customers. Customers and vendors all are required to wear masks, making this a safe and healthy place for people (especially those who have underlying health conditions and/or are seniors) to shop for produce, baked goods, meat, wild rice, plants, and crafts. There were a variety of vendors on Opening Day, and it was so much fun to visit each one and see what was being offered. Despite not having music or entertainment, or food to eat on site (because of the CDC guidelines), it was still a festive and welcoming place to be, and a fun way to see neighbors and friends. We are looking forward to going back to the Farmers Market again next week!
