I've tried 3 smoothie places in Massapequa (and one in the city) and this is BY FAR the best place. My go to order for any smoothie place typically consists of chocolate, pb, banana, and protein, and Sunrise Smoothies has managed to perfect this simple concept. I took my boyfriend here a couple of weeks ago and he had something w orange in it and I kid you not it tasted exactly like a creamsicle. All items are decently priced too. I only stopped by this spot because "Organic Corner" was closed and I had such a craving for a smoothie. Me and my son stopped by, he ordered some Very Berry smoothie and I ordered the chai tea smoothie. To me the Chai Tea smoothie was way too sweet for me, my son's was very good though. I will say it's a tiny space and only one lady was working there at the time. They were out of wheat grass for the shot but the sizing of the cups and the price was very reasonable. I probably will check this place out again if I'm in the area but I would get something different. read more

Awesome juice and smoothie bar conveniently located on sunrise highway across the street from the massapequa park train station. They must have at least fifty smoothie options. I enjoyed the mason. You can also customize your own smoothie with their countless ingredients including fruits, juices, milk, yogurt, nutrient powders,, and more. The prices seemed pretty reasonable. AMAZING PLACE!!! Being a smoothie lover I'am so happy we found this place. The prices are great and very resonnable compared to other smoothie places in the area that are way too over priced. The guy there is very friendly. They have a nice menu with lots of options, from smoothies to juices, pretzels, churros, acai bowls etc... They're the only smoothie place I've been to that offers CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH smoothie which is to die for! I went to this place one time. The guy working behind the counter was on his cell phone the entire time having a personal conversation. He did not stop to greet me or explain anything to me on the menu. He didn't ask me what I wanted, instead just stared at me for a few seconds till I told him. He made my smoothie while still on his cell phone. He rang me up, I paid and walked out. He did not even say thank you. I will never return to this place. I came in here on a hot summer day parched and really hungry. I can't stand going to smoothie places that fill your cup up with syrup and sugar and give you no real fresh fruit. This place was quite the opposite... I specifically told the girl exactly what fruits and vegetables I wanted in my smoothie ...she did not even bat an eye and replied no problem with a smile. This place is cool but they should really ad some almond and cashew milk smoothies to the menu. It is mostly fruit mixes and acai bowls. I have not tried the acai bowl yet, but looking forward to it. They also have wheatgrass shots. It is hard to find a decent smoothie shop on long island, but it's not bad. There is a nice vibe and patio chairs outside if during the summer. First time here. Was dying for a smoothie on the way to the beach. When we walked in, we asked what smoothie is popular. The man at the counter said Stawberry Banana was most popular. I ordered that and then went outside to wait (the smell of cigarette smoke was really stong inside). My friends brought out my drink and I took a sip. I thought they may have given me the wrong one, but the other two drinks we ordered were really different so I went inside to see if maybe they made the wrong drink. Two women came out from the back and they said that it was what I ordered. One said that it has strawberry juice and a banana. I was surprised because I thought the strawberry would be fresh. She assured me that they also use fresh strawberries in addition to the juice. I told her I didnt like it, and she said that if I don't like this then I won't like anything there. So disappointed.
