    Got my service done twice here. Danielle was my service advisor both times and she gets a 5 star for customer service. They might be the fastest Toyota I've been to when it comes to getting service done. They lose a star for never having the shuttle service actually available even though they advertise it on the website. They give a complimentary wash which is nice.

    Eric Chandler was the best to deal with! Honest, clear, and helpful. Treated us very fairly on our trade, delivered a beautiful car quickly, and helped us with the accessories and updates we wanted. The business manager and everyone else was wonderful to deal with too. Beautiful facility with a staff that treats you right and fairly!We will be back for sure!

    2022 SALES UPDATE That sweet Eric Chandler did his magic on me again! But this time it went even smoother. Is that even possible?! Smooth & Car buying.... Is that an oxymoron?! Hahahaha. Even though I was planning on buying out my lease. I liked my car. It fit my lifestyle. It fit me. But that Mr Chandler always has other ideas that he insists I try first. And like before I'm so glad I did. So one short test drive later I find myself leasing a new vehicle. Wait! What?! Isn't there a shortage? New cars aren't available, isn't that what the news media is saying? What's happening?! A RAV4 Prime is what's happening. It looks like my 2019's fraternal twin. The only con is the fabric seats. My lifestyle isn't conducive to fabric seats. I have dogs & work in dirt, mud, axle grease & diesel fuel. Eric says no problem we'll order leather seats and have them swapped out. FOR ME?! Really?! I thought it'd take a week or so. NOPE! Eric called me the next day! Drop the car off after I get off work and I could pick it up the following day. Done! And done! It was like a perfect storm of fantastical events. All orchestrated by Eric. Thanks E for your exemplary salesmanship! Keep doing what you're doing Sunrise Toyota! I'm a huge fan! We traded in a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado on February 21st while leasing a 2026 GMC Sierra. We were clearly and repeatedly told by our salesperson that the dealership would handle the lease payoff through Jovia (Fusion), including remaining payments before the March 6th due date. That never happened. For over a month, we were given false information and reassured that everything was taken care of. Meanwhile, Jovia/Fusion had no record of any communication or payment from the dealership. The reality: Two missed payments were reported, damaging my husband's credit We received a DMV notice that the registration was expiring We have now received a collections letter due to their failure to act The vehicle wasn't even processed -- it was sitting in the back of the lot, not listed for sale Only after physically going to the dealership on April 7th did they admit fault and send the payoff. Even more concerning, when we escalated this to management, they responded once to schedule a call -- and then completely stopped responding. This goes far beyond poor customer service. This is a failure to handle financial obligations responsibly, and it had real consequences for us. It is extremely disappointing because the initial buying experience was positive, but the lack of accountability afterward completely changed our view. We will not be returning and strongly caution others to ensure every detail is handled properly before leaving this dealership.

Timeline of issues: Apr 28, 2025: Recall service; defects appear. May 18, 2025: Service visit; issues persist. Jun 16, 2025: Service visit; defects reappear. Aug 21, 2025: Service visit; dealership states fixed, no follow-up. Sep 4, 2025: Vehicle pick-up; no call, had to check in. Sep 24, 2025: issues re-emerged; Reported to sales manager, dealership confirms they cannot resolve and advised litigation. The dealership has failed to fix these defects or provide timely updates. The vehicle remains parked for safety reasons while we continue paying nearly $700 per month plus insurance. Given the ongoing issues and this dealership's inability to resolve the matter directly, I cannot recommend their service or support.

The price was reasonable but not great. I understand that a business has expenditures and overhead costs. My biggest issue is when you pay the asking price and the vehicle is nowhere near mechanically correct." I always attempt to get a test drive or do some type of research to avoid any headaches later. Thank goodness Mr. Avi doesn't need the stressor of buying a vehicle for resale that's going to come back and bite him later, so for that reason, he only purchases good-conditioned vehicles. Avi assured me…read morenearly all his buyers purchase vehicles sight unseen, and have them delivered with a contracted delivery service. He said there were no mechanical issues. After purchasing the vehicle, he told me the floats in the fuel tanks didn't really work; not the end of the world. Vehicle was delivered safely. It sat for about ten days before I could drive it. On EVERY drive, the truck turned off while driving, sometimes on the highway. I am familiar with 7.3s, so I suspected something was up with the oil or fuel pump. Brought to a specialty garage and sure enough, ***$2300 LATER*** my truck is running again. The fuel pump was completely shot. It NEVER drove more than 5 miles without turning off and was honestly dangerous. When I asked Avi to help make this right, he refused, offering no concession and telling me it was a good sale price. I wouldn't trust Avi or do business with him again. I would be happy to take down this review if he pays for half of my repair.

I simply can not stand the high pressure sale, how long the process takes, all the mind games, the price haggling etc. This time I completely switched gears and decided to go with a Subaru. I still had 3 months left on my current lease so naturally I was just going to ask questions. Within seconds of entering the dealership I was greeted with a warm welcome. I sat with Mike Chiofalo, I immediately clicked with him, I'm in the service industry and feel it is important to be yourself around people and not put on an act. I have a chatty, high energy personality with a bit of a potty mouth, Mike was great, he didn't flinch, he actually matched my energy and we chatted like we'd been friends for years! This was something I NEVER felt at the other dealership that I've been loyal to for 25 years!!! Anyway, I told him my plan to trade/sell my current vehicle and lease a new one. I had my heart set on the 2026 Crosstrek and Mike informed me it was in stock so we proceeded to take a test drive. The crosstrek is a beautiful vehicle. It's comfy, peppy has a lot of bells and whistles I was looking for and a few that I was pleasantly surprised I didn't. We proceeded to finalize my purchase, yep we went from "I just have a few questions" to okay I'll take it! Mike gave me the number I was looking for and I'll admit I was skeptical to see how much that number was going to change once we got to the financing portion, we all know how this goes you get told one thing then once they run your credit it turns into a sh*t show....I swear I was waiting to see when the "surprise hidden fees" were gonna show up and they never did! The number he gave me was the number I got!!! Yet another great experience with a new dealership. So now that all my paperwork is in order Mike brings me back to his office to take care of my insurance and registration.... Here we go again right? Wrong!!! They simply called my insurance agent and changed vehicles on my current policy, there was no " oh why don't you sit with our on site insurance agent to see if they can beat your current price" literally no additional BS. We set up my Subaru app and he gave me the tutorial on how to use it along with all the cool features in my car!!! I left there feeling calm and relieved that there was literally no stress! Overall this has been the ABSOLUTE BEST experience getting a new car!! If you have a fear of jumping ship from your current dealership to try something new, get your butt down to East Hills Subaru in Sayville!! Make sure you see Mike Chiofalo!!! Thank you again Mike
