We recently purchased Sunrise's Noise Reducing Picture Window through Toledo Door & Window, specifically for its advertised sound-reducing capabilities and REGRET IT! DO NOT BUY their products. Sunrise's marketing materials clearly state that this window "eliminates unwanted sounds," including traffic noise, with no disclaimers or fine print. Toledo Door & Window visited our home and saw firsthand that we live on a very busy, high-traffic street, and he made no mention of any limitations or conditions on this feature. We trusted the product based on the claims and paid a premium price over regular windows. Unfortunately, within two weeks of installation, we experienced two major issues: 1. No Noticeable Sound Reduction There has been zero improvement in sound levels. The noise from the street and neighborhood remains completely unchanged. It performs no differently than a standard window. 2. Fogging and Condensation The picture window began fogging shortly after installation--something that has never occurred in our 35-year-old home, even with older windows. We were told it was simply "acclimating," but according to industry research, this explanation has no basis. We raised these concerns and were met with dismissive behavior, particularly during a visit from a Sunrise representative (Ryan) on 8/22, who was flippant, condescending and offered no solutions or support. We felt brushed off and disregarded. At this point, neither Sunrise nor Toledo Door & Window has offered any resolution, replacement, or effort to make things right--despite the product clearly failing to meet the advertised performance. We believe this experience amounts to false advertising and deceptive sales practices. read more

Whatever you do, don't purchase Sunrise Windows. I am now on my 3rd transom window being installed. The first 2 attempts were defective. They were cheap looking, a "line" going all the way across the entire windows. Terrible quality. If I were the manufacturer, I would be embarrassed putting a product out there with the public. This company should be shut down. Their customer service is awful!! I wrote to them, they responded back, but never called me. I bought 12 sunrise windows. I guess their sunrise essentials and they are so thin. I just tried to put a suction cup on it and it broke the window. And some lady from this place said that she was going to get me a piece of glass and I aint heard another word back from her and it won't let me fill out my warranty paper either. read more

We had a sliding glass patio door, and seventeen of our windows replaced with Sunrise and are very happy with the results. We did have some workmanship issues with a few of our casement window installations but Sunrise replaced the windows with new ones within a month. A sales representative was out to our house within 2 days of our initial complaint. He apologized to us and assured us that we would be taken care of. He was true to his word. Bought $15k in windows from a local dealer and we have had trouble from the beginning. Trim on the patio door would not stay on, so they pulled the door and replaced the fame. 1 window had a sash that was bowed down and would not lock ... they had to replace. 2 windows in a bedroom would not slide open/close so they had to take them out to replace and finally the grand window on the front of the house has plugs to cover the screw mounting holes that do not even come close to matching. Just don't bother with this company ... between the issues and many delays in getting replacement products to fix the issues it is just not worth it. read more
