We love the store it's super convenient and it's even open on the holidays for a few hours to let you get last minute things. It's a little more expensive than if you drive into band but they have everything including a large selection of alcohol, food, even some sporting his gear. All the clerks are very friendly and helpful the meat and the producer terrific. Overall we try to always make at least one stop hear all that we usually end up going there several times. I highly suggest using the store for groceries and last minute items. During the Christmas season they even have Christmas trees.. read more

Stayed at the Sunriver Resort nearby and came here for groceries. They have a bit of everything quality and prices are reasonable for a resort town! Too bad they close at 7pm but understaffing is a national problem. The lady who moved the closing sign to the front door was even apologetic about closing when quite a few customers wanted to visit the store. The other ladies at the cashier and the deli counter were very professional and friendly. Enjoyed shopping here! read more

This is based only on the coffee counter- the only reason there are 2 stars is because the store itself looked beautiful and well stocked. Tuesday morning sept 2nd we stopped in on our way back to Seattle to grab some coffee before we hit the open road. As we approached the counter to ask for coffee we were ignored for a moment while the ladies behind the counter finished up their conversation- no big deal I get it- it was a long weekend. When we asked for a latte and an americano the woman responded in the most annoyed ways- it wasn't as if I asked for a blended drink or anything. It was the most unfriendly experience I've ever had in a store. The coffee--- well let's just say we stopped in Bend to toss it and set out to find a more palatable replacement. I'm a local who lives in Sunriver full-time and I shop at the country store weekly. On this particular holiday weekend I needed some things and was going to spend about $100. I needed organic cauliflower and the ones they had looked pretty poor. I asked to speak to the manager and was pointed to a register across from the one where I loaded all my stuff, so I had to get in that line. All I wanted is not to pay full price for less than fresh produce. I was told no discount by the Assistant Manager and was told that mold on cauliflower was normal and not to worry about the brown steam. There was not even a price on the rack, so I had no idea how much I was paying for the less than fresh cauliflower. Well I needed it and paid $11.50 for one head. Less than stellar service at tge country market. I will think twice about shopping there. read more

Beautiful, deluxe, well laid-out grocery store that will keep even the snootiest city slicker happy. Ample cheese and prepared foods section, huge beer and wine selection, full grocery, frozen goods, gourmet items, etc. Prices seemed reasonable, lines were short, and it still manages some country charm. Just a fancy convenience store. If you're in need of dairy-free items like yogurt or ice cream alternatives, or gluten-free items, foo-get-about-it. This store is all about deli food, liquor, junk food, and basics - all at high prices. If you are on a restricted diet, stop in Bend before your Sunriver stay. Suggest Market of Choice, Safeway, Natural Grocers. If you just need pancake or cocktail hour fixins', this store is fine. Not the friendliest staff, either. But hey, do they need to be? This was a great place to walk into and be able to see a full liqor store inside as well as a good wine selection. This is your local IGA market here at the Sunriver resort. You have a little bit of everything and the variety is higher end. I do like this place a lot. I was able to get a couple of great bottles of wine for a good price for a conference I was attending. read more

If you're going to vacation in Sunriver, be prepared to get gouged on items for a convenience fee as an alternative to a 25 min drive to Bend. I am a year around Sunriver resident and the Marketplace is a good convenient store for what you need when you need it and all of the personnel are super except for Supervisor Michelle - avoid her if you can with any issues as she will make anything seem like you are the problem and not her store or its services. Case in point, I rent movies on a weekly/daily basis online from their DVDEXPRESS Kiosk and recently experienced a problem when picking up my movie after just returning one. The machine made a loud noise when the kiosk tried to dispense my new movie, which all cashiers heard, and the machine locked up and started to reboot. Michelle came over and I thought how nice as she pulled out her phone as if to call the DVDExpress kiosk help line. I asked her if she was calling the kiosk help line and she says no, that's on you, I am using my phone's flashlight function to see if you jammed the machine. She then proceeds to lecture me, a grown man in my 60's, about DVDExpress kiosk operation as if I were a child and walks away. The DVD Express helpline fixed the issue but I resent Michelle's caustic intervention, blame game, and complete overall lack of any customer support. read more

I was here on vacation with my family and we felt like making one of our gonzo pizzas at the rental one night instead of going out. WE went to this little grocery store and found lots of good gourmet ingredients that were fresh and exotic, but the tofu was spoiled. I like the customer service here. They returned it right away, no hassle, but didn't really apologize. So, four stars instead of five. read more

The shelves for canned and dry goods are fully stocked. Meat and produce departments were among the worst I've ever seen. Perhaps understandable in a resort grocery during the off-season that they aren't carrying a lot of perishable stuff, but what market doesn't have pork chops or Brussels sprouts? If you're just picking up something quick, it's just fine. If you're planning on making meals and need produce or meat, shop in Bend. read more

Terrible customer service! I waited in a 15 min. line to check out today, only to have the clerk put up a closed sign when I finally reached the front. There was a line behind me that stretched to the back of the store. I was told there was "nothing she could do," because she had to go on break. A second clerk yelled over from her station that everyone would have to go to the back of one of the other lines (also stretching to the back of the store). Needless to say, I left my cart and won't be back. I can understand being busy, but that level of disregard for your customer is inexcusable. read more

This is an impressive store...for where it is. It serves a lot of needs: groceries, wine, liquor, deli, sundries, paper needs, etc. Prices seem a little high but considering location are well under ripoff levels. The two Sunriver Market's strives to have a little of everything! I have found specialty sauces and dressings that I can't find in town! Good selection of everyday items, nice fruits and veggie area, liquor store and nice wine selection. Liquor store is open on Sundays as well for those who need to know! Called to ask about a product availability in advance of vacation for a daughter with dietary allergies. Was told by young female who answered that she was too busy to answer question or seek out info from manager at first. With prodding she finally relented and grabbed someone who took 27 seconds out of their busy evening to check. Maybe if I was calling about liquor products they would have cared more. read more
