Technician proceeded to advise that he is the owner and performs the installs. He then proceeded to say the unit is a 2.5ton (which after calling carrier, they said that it's a 3 ton). Technician said he is very booked and couldn't do the install for 3-4 days. Once he learned, from the renter of my home that i had 2 other companies coming to provide estimates, he scheduled next day service with the renter. No contract was provided. On the phone call he gave a price of $8500 then told the renter it was $9000 to install a Heil (contractor grade system) which SO GLAD I GOT ANOTHER ESTIMATE. A competitor in the area was $2000 less expensive. Installed a complete name brand system, high efficiency with an energy tax credit certification. DONT GET PRESSURED INTO A BAD DEAL! Get a few estimates and you will see the cream rise to the top.

Firstly, I have two units for my home, and I knew that eventually I would have to replace the two of them because they were on their last legs. One of the units kept tripping a breaker. I submitted a claim with my home warranty (Choice Home Warranty) and they contracted out BCA Climate Control to come fix the issue or whatever it is that Home Warranty companies want them to do. The technician who came by was friendly and quite welcoming. He was very honest with me, and knowing the condition of the unit, he wasn't trying to pull a fast one on me. It's something I appreciated because in this day and age, many businesses try to squeeze you for all they can. The technician (we'll call him Frank) let me know that the chance of the home warranty fixing the part or replacing the pump itself was slim to none. I asked him how much it would cost for a new one and he gave me a price that didn't make me queasy. I then asked him for a price for both systems, and his price seemed very fair. I had originally planned on having a few other companies come by to quote me on two systems, but speaking with Frank, I wanted to give him my business. He wasn't trying to get me to overpay for a system that was more than I needed, he gave me quality and exactly what was needed. Nothing more, nothing less. Mere hours after he came by under the umbrella of a home warranty company, he had won me over and we agreed to replace both systems in my home. Frank and his colleague worked very hard to replace both systems. Doing so over the course of 2 days. A busted sprinkler in my yard caused the area where he and his colleague would work to be muddy, but they got the job done. I sincerely appreciated the kindness by both his colleague and him. My wife offered them some snacks and tea throughout the day, and my kids seemed to enjoy having them around. A happy family, makes a happy dad. I surely was happy with my new Trane system, but more now that I have this company as my preferred service provider for my HVAC system. Once my yard dries up and we clean things up, I'll post a picture of their work. I'll be utilizing BCA Climate Control to service my new system every 6 months. It will be good to have them back. I highly recommend this company for your HVAC needs. You will not be disappointed and if any of their other techs are as good Frank or even half as good, you're going to be in good hands.
