While I was visiting the area for an event at the co-working space, HAVN, I stopped in to Sunroom Coffee to grab a bite to eat. The turkey bagel sandwich hit the spot and gave me an opportunity to sit and enjoy the ambience for a bit. This is definitely a gathering space of locals and regulars-it has that kind of vibe. It's not super loud, nor is it library-quiet. It's just right-like Goldilocks finds after several tries. It's not a very fast paced place, the service was kind but not rushed. It's more of a place where you come to hang out with friends and sip on a drink or maybe get some work done on your laptop while taking in a change of scenery.

I visited Sunroom Coffee twice while in SLC, since it was walking distance from my hotel and was easy to walk to in the freezing cold weather! During my first visit, I ordered a cappuccino and a bagel to go with avo and cream cheese. The amount that was layered on the bagel was pretty slim, which I didn't mind because oftentimes with bagels, it is a challenge not to get the bagel fillings all over you! The next day I dropped by, I got a spiced chai and their good AM bagel, which came with egg, cheese, and hot honey drizzle. Again, the fillings of the bagel were not spilling over, which I appreciated. However, it was pretty sticky with the hot honey, which still made it difficult to eat. I did enjoy the flavors though!

I'm obsessed with this cafe. First: the decor is always so cute and rotating. Next the comfy chairs and the bar seating is good. Whoever is on aux is amazing. The playlist is always so versatile yet playing bangers always. I swear they just peaked into my Spotify and played stuff because that's how much I liked the music. But the best part is the drinks. Although I wish they were a little cheaper, they are SOOOO GOOD. I love that they actually gave me a cookie with my sugar cookie matcha. It tasted so good with the drink. I got a medium because I usually don't finish my drinks that quick but I should have gotten a large because I finished it too quick. Me and my friend came here to study and it's a vibe. Not a ton of seating so I wouldn't recommend a big group to hang out unless you do the outside seating.

One of the best coffee shops to chat or get some work done. Nice ambiance, comfortable seating with plenty of space. Can get pretty busy on the weekend. Got a plain drip coffee, I'd come back!

On my hunt to find the best coffee shop to work at, I stopped by Sunroom Coffee. Sunroom is located right in a cute apartment complex in SLC. This place was super cute and I loved my drink! I ordered a matcha with lavender cold foam, my fav spring drink! The matcha was good! I also ordered the basic bitch bagel- avocado bagel and it hit the spot! Very cute place, nice workers and good vibe. Be aware the music is pretty loud, so for working it can be tough, but cute shop! Need to come back to try the bagel sandwich's they are famous for!

Been wanting to check out this coffee shop for a while after seeing it all over social media. Finally stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy. So busy that there wasn't really anywhere to sit - which I guess is both good and bad. Clearly it's popular, but just wish the space was a little bigger. The drink menu sounded amazing; lots of flavored matcha options and seasonal specialty drinks. Unfortunately I'm a creature of habit and usually just order an Americano with oat milk (around $4-5), which was decent. Specialty drinks are closer to $8, a little pricey, but they did sound really good. Overall a super cute spot. I'll be back!

I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but every once in awhile I like looking for the interesting coffee shops to hang out in and sample. I love it when I find a coffee joint that has an interesting signature drink that's right in my wheelhouse. The Teddy Bear latte is right up my alley. The only thing that could've made it better would've been if the salted caramel had been butterscotch. Otherwise, this is like a dream coffee with the maple and vanilla just fitting right in. The staff seemed super chipper and even assisted with a parking concern that I felt stupid asking about because it isn't their job to know. The space is lovely and large and has so much room to relax and take up space in. From couches to tables, from counters to almost booths--this place was built be a third space. And I love Sunroom because that's a dying breed.

Came to Sunroom Coffee on a Friday night to study with a friend, but it wasn't the best spot for that. It was really hard to find seating -- the place was packed, and most people seemed to be studying too, but the setup didn't feel study-friendly. The music was pretty loud, there were more couches than actual tables and chairs, and outlets were very limited. I got a hot matcha latte, which was just okay. It leaned heavy on the milk and didn't have much matcha flavor. One thing I did appreciate was their partnership with Chubby Baker. I ended up getting a strawberry cream donut, and it hit the spot, it was soft and not overly sweet. However, the amount of strawberry in the donut was skimpy. The aesthetic of the space is really cute and thoughtfully designed, but it's more of a hangout spot than a study-friendly one. Also, parking is rough. It took us about 30 minutes of circling before we finally found a spot. Might come back just to relax or catch up with a friend, but not if I need to get work done.

If I could get my coffee here everyday I would - one of my favorite coffee shops in slc! All of their drinks are so yummy and the espresso is high quality. The coffee shop is such a fun vibe and is a great place to bring your laptop and get work done. It gets pretty busy on the weekends so I would recommend going early to get a spot! They have multiple different seating options; comfy couches, table space, and high top tables! The staff are always so so friendly and my order always comes out super quickly!

Absolutely stunning spot! This place is a total gem, perfect for a fun night out with friends or a cozy date night. I stopped by after a concert, and it was the perfect way to wind down. The vibe at night is magical, and I love that they're open until midnight! I had the Honeymoon (highly recommend!), and it was incredible smooth, flavorful, and totally hit the spot. The staff was super friendly and helpful, even though it was late. You could tell they really care about the experience. I'll definitely be back. This place is a whole vibe.

Loved the 7 deadly cinns bagel. Delicious and full of flavor! The campfire coffee was good but tastes like chocolate milk. The torched marshmallows on top made the drink! I'll be back to try other drinks. Very cute ambiance inside. Friendly service.

We ordered a Cheddar Jalapeño bagel with the onion & chive shmear and a Blueberry bagel with honey almond shmear, and as always, the bagels themselves were great. The staff working the counter and kitchen were all very nice and polite, and the cleanliness of the dining area was acceptable, if maybe a little rough around the edges ("clean...ish," as I'd put it). However, the experience fell apart when it came to efficiency. The wait time was truly insane for making bagels. From what I could see, the staff was completing online orders before in-store orders...which makes no sense to me.

We were quoted a 10-15 minute wait despite there being multiple open tables everywhere, which already set the tone. The person at the front also seemed like greeting guests was a personal inconvenience. Not exactly the warm welcome you'd expect from a place trying this hard to look aesthetic. To make things worse, several pastries sitting in the front display were visibly burnt. Not "artisan charred" -- just burnt. The pastries we ordered were actually good, which makes the rest of the menu even more disappointing. We tried the soft scramble, pork cheek tartine, truffle tartine, and mushroom fettuccine. Everything looked beautiful but tasted either burnt, bland, or both. Every toast item arrived burnt enough that you could taste it in every bite. Our server came by often to refill waters and check on us, but the service somehow still felt oddly impersonal. Since the restaurant wasn't busy at all, it also made us wonder how attentive the service would be during an actual rush. Honestly, this place feels more focused on looking trendy than serving good food. Stick to the pastries if you go -- it's the only thing worth ordering.

Everything was delicious- well seasoned and perfect temperature- soft scramble look yummy - the Benedict so good they made it a yummy meatless dish! The eggs poached well and served with peas a really neat compliment to the dish. Mushroom pasta looked very good and I'll have to order it next time. Funghi pizza was excellent- the béchamel was excellent and melody of mushrooms yummy- crust was good a bit dark on the top but bottom crust good. Overall we weren't in a rush so the wait wasn't too bad - the food is excellent and worth the wait
