I feel kind of silly admitting this, but I've always thought this was a drive through only coffee shop. It wasn't until today that I met a group here and found that I was oh-so-wrong. Not only is there a dining area when you first walk in, but there's even an upper level with cozy couches and space to spread out. It has kind of an attic vibe to it. Service was remarkably fast, given it was a busy weekday morning with a lobby full of patrons and a line of cars outside. But nobody waited long, these guys have the system buttoned up really good. Their Millcreek location has changed since my last visit. I had a 10-punch card for a $5 discount--it's not like I didn't earn it--but they no longer honor fully punched cards they handed out. Pretty lame. The markup on coffee has to be huge--easily 400%. They should've just phased the cards out gradually instead of cutting people off. Service is fast, I'll give them that--but honestly, so is everywhere else. read more

Still disjointed that the owner wont discuss, take calls, accept comments, and leaves his employees to deal with customers who are frustrated that he throws away our past loyalty purchases, with an avoidant position. I can't gift the cards to others to help his business. He'd rather just blow his customers off. When I learned this, I still paid for my drinks, rather than cancel them, which would have been justified. He could have empowered his employees to adjust the few drinks as spoilage, which he'd have had to do if I cancelled. Such a poor business and management decision. That being said, the staff are wonderful people, and I still want to support them. They do a GREAT job, service wise. read more

Seriously, they're packed with flavor, the perfect size, and exactly what you need to kickstart your morning or power through a busy afternoon. Dope coffee spot! 100% recommend. I stayed at the double tree across the street and wanted something other than Starbucks. RawBeans was perfect! They have a drive through, but I just walked over. I got maybe 9 cups of coffee in total over my stay. They have a large variety of coffees. Black coffee, lattes, teas, and basically everything Starbucks has, but cheaper and better. They also have a seasonal menu. This time it was cereals, which I thought was cool. I got the lucky charms and it tasted like marshmallows lol. They also have breakfast. Don't be scared away by the long drive thru lines! It is worth the wait, not that there is much of one. These guys have it down. They do get quite busy in the morning, but they come out and take orders down the line of cars which makes it move really quick. I usually get an iced vanilla latte or iced white mocha both of which are delicious! They also have breakfast burritos which are a nice way to start the day. I liked that this café was across the street from the hotel I stayed at. It was a 5 min walk so I got my steps in. The size of it is fairly small but very intimate. I like that because it gives you a more personal connection. The drive thru was busy when I went. There were about 10 people inside not including the baristas. It was a busy morning. For coffee, I went for a 12 oz caramel latte and for food, I got the tomato, basil and Parmesan croissant. Coffee was good. It was your typical caramel latte. Although what I liked about it was that it was not too sweet. A lot of times, it can be overwhelmingly sweet. The croissant was very fluffy. There wasn't much filling. Definitely can taste the basil. It was underwhelming for me. I would probably try a different croissant. They have a menu with different kinds of croissants. Both savory and sweet. read more

There us seating on the inside but not a whole lot but spacious enough to dig out your laptop computer and do some work if you so desire while having a coffee drink. I had a very good iced vanilla latte while about to continue my road trip and a slice of banana bread which I do love to have sometimes when about to start my day. It is quite odd that rawbean has decided to not honor their loyalty cards because they created a new one using phone numbers. They punish rather than respect past loyalty members. It speaks quite lowly of these poor decision makers, creating a conundrum for those of us who want to support their employees but not the owners who care so little for customers. read more

I usually order a chunky monkey (banana and chocolate syrup) but lately have been wanting to eat lower carb for the summer. This location I believe is drive thru only and they have updated prices that are reasonable with plenty of cute drink specials; last month they had K pop themed drinks! There's some sandwich/breakfast food options but way carby for me. The staff here is super friendly and my coffee is always out super fast. Today I wanted something sugar free and cold, and the barista (wish I had gotten her name) offered to custom make me a surprise iced coffee (the frozen drinks have sugar already in the base). The drink was great and it was able to be low carb; she said it was caramel, Irish cream, and something else I can't recall, but it was 5/5. Perfect amount of ice too! I love coming here for a quick coffee - only suggestion is to branch out and offer iced or frozen lemonades for the summer! I'd rather give Raw Bean my business than Starbucks. read more

I decided to go for a simple black iced coffee with a breakfast burrito for the road. Because it was also a weekend, the line was pretty long, but it did go by pretty fast! Rawbean is located right across the street of the hotel that I was staying at (Doubletree). There was a coffee place in the hotel and there was a nearby Starbucks, but something drew me back to Rawbean every day of the week while I was staying at the Doubletree 5x) Service was ALWAYS great. Friendly and quick service and I don't think I ever repeated a barista). Prices were on par with other coffee places (if anything, may have leaned a little cheaper!). I tried the London Fog, the Linus, the Snoopy, the Lucy (yep, there was a specials theme) and I liked everything that I had. The Lucy was my favorite from the above. I really enjoyed Rawbean. It was a great hub coffee shop while I was on my week long work trip in SLC. read more

Needed a quick breakfast and coffee in downtown SLC. The building is small and currently not allowing indoor ordering or dining, so I walked through the drive thru. They have tons of coffee options and a million different flavored syrups. The coffee is reasonably priced, however their syrup flavors are not listed on the menu. I ordered an iced coffee which was pretty good and a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast burrito. The burrito was stuffed with delicious goodness and they also gave me some hot sauce too. The only thing I didn't appreciate was there are NO prices anywhere for the food items. I looked all over google and Yelp and found no food prices. Their menu also does not specify price for food. I recommend this place if you're downtown and need a quick bite and some food coffee. read more

The fact that Wifi was gone for maybe a few years and is spotty these days is a major detractor for me, but it can be helpful as a focusing attribute. Overall this place was a huge disappointment for me. My husband and I are in town for work and we road tripped out here with our two dogs. While my husband was working I decided to go check out one of the local coffee shops. I was in the mood to try something new and unique. I stumbled upon Rawbean. I loved the unique twist of their monthly special drink menu themes and thought the drinks sounded clever. Plus all the awesome reviews didn't hurt! I was excited to see what interesting drinks they had for September and what theme they'd be offering this month, from the previous photos I saw The Office & Mean Girls themed drinks. I also thought the drive thru aspect was a plus because I had my two dogs and didn't want to leave them in the car. So I pull up and the line was long, but other yelpers said the line moved quickly so I wasn't worried. I'm the type that I likes to see a menu before ordering...prices, unique offerings, maybe even some food options? But there were none outside and I didn't see any until I pulled up to the window to pay. After sitting there for 30 seconds... I wasn't sure how the ordering process worked and didn't realize they would be walking all the way to the back of the line to get our order so I was caught off guard, I quickly l fumbled around trying to put on my mask out of courtesy and roll down my window as a girl walked up to my car and just stared at me. She just stood there and barely said hi. I stared back for a moment waiting for some sort of menu paper or something. Finally I realize okay no menus apparently I need to guess what they offer... I ask her if there are any specials this month, she huffs back in a rude tone "I can't hear you!" I ask again, louder, and she just stared at me like I'm an idiot. I ask once more "do you have any specials? Like you know the monthly special menu you have? Special drinks?" She replies in a clearly annoyed voice "uh yeah, well we have drink specials this month" I stare blankly at her waiting to hear what they are. Seriously? I have to ask? So I do. And the girl pretty much all but rolls her eyes at me! She sighs and starts barking the 6 or 7 drink options out quickly in a very annoyed tone again and I don't dare ask any questions about those so as not to unleash her wrath. I quickly pick the first one be that sounded somewhat appealing: A coconut lavender latte and hoped for the best. Since I saw no menus I didn't know their size offering so I said "large" and Before I could even say I wanted it iced she flatly grunts "Hot?" Then I ordered a large iced mocha for my husband, she didn't hear me again and gruffly said "what?!" After I ordered it. She was standing practically in my window and I definitely wasn't talking softly. Make sure you shout when ordering. There was construction down the street, so maybe that was it? Who knows. The she sighs again and asks what size did you want those "16, 24 or 32??" Oh wow shocking I actually got some information from this place! I would have mentioned size if I had a MENU. She then just holds her hand out for my card and I give it to her and she walks away. No thank you, no telling me my total, no letting me know where I'd get my card back or from who. Nothing. The guy at the window who gave me back my card was cheerful and friendly unlike his coworker taking the orders. He offered my dogs treats and my drinks were out a minute later. That's what the two stars are for, speedy process and his attitude and service. Now onto the drinks. First up: Coconut Lavender Latte. I assumed it would be coconut milk but it was so sweet, and tasted as if some cheap artificial coconut syrup was in it. I have no idea if coconut milk was in it or not. Lavender flavor was fine but also tasted artificial. Second: Iced Mocha. It was alright, I prefer a strong coffee taste mixed with a rich, rich dark chocolate flavor in a mocha and this was neither. It tasted burnt and like hot chocolate powder. I really wanted to love this place and was shocked at the bad experience, mediocre/artificial tasting drinks and serious lack of customer service. Seriously a huge disappointment. BEWARE: This place is not new visitor friendly, apparently you have to be a regular to know what to order and don't you dare take longer than .5 to decide what you want and place your order. Also if you struggle with social anxiety like I do sometimes, this is the WORST place to go. They do not make it easy to order confidently. I understand things are weird and we're all navigating a unique situation and I understand that they're trying to keep the line moving fast... BUT kindness, customer service and giving clear expectations and information to what you offer your customers should NEVER take a backseat. There seems to be much better options out here. read more

Great coffee, but weird ordering process. I also read in the reviews that this has happened to others. I think you need a sign that is big enough for folks in line ( or some A frame signs to put out, so folks in line know what to order.) OR have the employee bring out a menu. We were caught off guard, had to hurry and pull up our phone, which doesn't have the specials, so that sucks. The employee also was impatient about it, so that's also annoying.
