My family has been in Jurupa Valley since 1978. It's great to see our city finally developing with a diverse selection of restaurants. Today we had dinner at Suns Kitchen. Welcomed not only the door chime "welcome" but also by the employees behind the counter. The dining area was clean. It was a bit warm inside (especially eating egg flower soup). The fountain drink wasn't working but they had refrigerated drinks available. A great amount of food selections. The portions were hefty. Stopped by here today and ordered 2 combos, a shrimp rice noodle and cream cheese wontons. It was good! The shrimp rice noodle was my fave the flavor was perfect and the cream cheese wontons were sweet, exactly how I like it! In the combos we had chow mein, teriyaki chicken, creamy shrimp, kung pao chicken, and a spicy chicken thing I think (I forgot the name). The only critiques I had was I wish the chow mein had more flavor but that's just me, it was still good to eat. I will try the fried rice next time. Also I wish the creamy shrimp batter wasn't soggy, but I understand it's hard to stay crunchy under the warmer. I wanted to try the salt and pepper shrimp but it ran out. It would be awesome if you had some salt and pepper fish or wings too! But still happy with my food :) Definitely will be coming back to try more! read more

The food here is ok I have been here multiple times cuz my brothers like how cheap it is but the owner is super cheap lol (no disrespect).I understand some people overdue it sometimes with asking for large amounts of sauce but this lady gives one pack per plate.so if you like hot sauce it kind of sucks.also the reason I am writing this review in the first place is cuz I just left this place and I got a plate with one entree and the lady offered me the lunch special and I asked if was the same price she said yes so I said ok to the special.then I asked her if it was ok if I got a water bottle instead of the fountain drink she also said it was ok.then proceeded to charge me it was like 11 dollars and some change. I paid and then tried to get the water from the fridge and she started telling me no there a price difference.then I told her that's why I asked before paying then she just tried to convince me of getting soda.i just told her it was ok and thank you cuz i realized she didn't understand much English.but all in all i would not recommend this place it sucks cuz there isn't much in Jurupa but nah im good.also the noodles i just got are dry as hell. read more

If you thought this Chinese food joint was good you either lack seasoning or are new to the area, and have not tried Mr. you down the street. As a JV local, I was excited about having another Chinese food option. However, this was highly disappointing to the point where it just pissed me off. You would think after fasting all day, being lit all day, and after a good ass workout this would still hit. Not even that. Food was straight shitty booty cheeks. Chow mein no flavor, teriyaki tasted like duck, and veggies were old. Maybe I need to go again, but nah wouldn't be worth going again. Lived in Jurupa Valley for years. Stoked to get another Chinese food spot here. Was unsure how it was going to be compared to You's. But honestly, it's right on par. The food portions were huge and the food was fresh. I got the two entree combo and had plenty to eat later on in the day. The price was right. Lady behind the counter was super friendly and the joint was nice and clean. If they stay consistent, I feel like they got a good thing going for them. Will be back! 5/5 for sure read more

New facility in my community, I've been going since day one! In the beginning they were nice, and cordial I get there an hour in a half before the close, I asked for bbq pork, fried rice, and rice noodles very busy, and packed, they told me 5 minutes wait for bbq pork, I waited, while I was sitting the chef came out less than 5 minutes with the bbq pork, and they started serving the other customers before me with the bbq pork, then gave me some old bbq pork pure EVIL! The cashier spoke no English, and was rude! The English speaking co worker came, and explained the cook has been cooking since the morning ‍ what does that have to do with what I want! They piled my plate up with all the burnt bbq pork, so I had to ask them politely to make it fresh smh terrible service read more

Ordered a party pack (2 meat trays , chow mein, rice and a tray of egg rolls ) for the weekend best decision ever. Asked for the order to be ready at 3pm, walked in the day of at 3pm it wasn't ready but I didn't mind they were making it fresh in the back so the food came out hot and fresh. I gave this place multiple chances, but unfortunately, it pales in comparison to Mr. You's. They are inconsistent with their portions. Sometimes, their food is cold (mainly the shrimp). Since they have 2 size options for each combo, they may end up upcharging you. The only good things about this place is that it's a newer place (hence cleaner, for now) and may have some options other nearby places don't have (I.e., thin noodles, potato chicken, bbq pork, etc.). read more

I came in excited to try a new place, but the service was disappointing. The lady rushed me through the menu without giving me a chance to decide, and when I asked for samples, she acted like she didn't hear me. She reluctantly gave me a sample after I repeated myself, but the attitude was off. After she rolled her eyes when I asked for another sample, I decided to leave. Three times coming here. 1st was a couple days after they opened. It was very busy so we just tried what we would usually get for Chinese food. We did not like the broccoli beef or the fried rice. Second time we tried the shrimp and orange chicken. We liked it but noticed discrepancies on the portions of each combo. 3rd time we were so disappointed. Everything was cold. Chow main had no flavor. We paid extra for the shrimp and my husband got 4 pieces of shrimp. My teriyaki chicken tasted old. There credit card machine wasn't working so my husband had to pay cash. We have gone twice for take out. Both times have been great. Great means we enjoyed the quality of our order in total. So much as we had leftovers which microwaved as good as the original day. There is no skimping at this place. The service was quick for take out. The ambiance is fine for eating there, but better for home.
