I was craving some fried fish and saw that they had a spicy fried fish dish so I wanted to try it. The space was nice and clean and the cashier was very friendly. It didn't come with rice so I had to order that separately and I also ordered there mixed vegetables. I really enjoyed the fish. Not as spicy as I would like but crispy and seasoned well. Rice is rice and the vegetables were good but they were in this sort of broth like liquid which I could have done without. They are pretty limited on plate combos where you sort of mix and match items to build your own plate so be prepared to order a few entrees if you want to try a few things. We decided to use the China Bros restaurant for a catered event. A friend had used them before and the food was great. We needed to feed about 30-35 people and on their catering menu there was a perfect package. Benny the owner was great. He offered suggestions and tips for our event. He even added a few extras as we were loyal customers. We set up the food in chaffing dishes and it displayed very nicely. Everyone loved it. Sweet & Sour Chicken, kung Pao Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, combination fried rice, and chow mein. It was great. We totally over ordered. We could have reduced our order by 50%. The menu here can be a little intimidating, especially if it is your first time, but it is actually very America friendly. At many Chinese restaurants, entrees do not come with rice, so you have to order it separately if you want it. Here, the chicken, beef, pork, seafood, and vegetable entrees come with a side of steamed rice, with the option to upgrade to fried rice or chow mein for an extra charge. We ordered the general chicken, eggplant tofu, and combination chow mein. Everything came out piping hot and tasted really good. This place does get busy, but the service is fast and efficient. I'm actually surprised this place has as many stars as it does. It was not great. I came in the evening and placed a to go order (mind you we live less than 10 mins away.) When I got home I saw a few things the veggie egg rolls seemed reheated as did the orange chicken. There were so many orange chicken pieces were hard. It's really too bad because the flavor is actually really good. If it had been freshly made it would have been great! The baby bokchoy was over cooked and stringy. The only thing worth the $50 I spent was the Chowmein. To be honest if your food is good sitting in (cause there was a lot of people there) and not to go that means you lack consistency. China Bro is a true hole-in-the-wall spot--bright, very clean, and surprisingly welcoming. Service is fast, attentive, and you can grab food to go if you'd like. Tonight we ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce, beef noodle soup, and the salt and pepper pork chop (not pictured). Everything came out quick and piping hot. The shrimp were fresh, and the sauce was rich and well-balanced. The beef noodle soup? I'd skip next time--the noodles were a bit too chewy for me, though the broth had a nice white pepper kick and the meat itself was tender. The food is good and we've picked it up a few times, but the portions/quality are inconsistent. Last night we ordered two sides of chow mein and they were not full, and our Mongolian beef had more veggies than beef which was really disappointing. The beef was really hard to chew and it didn't taste like last time. The takeout packaging was also a huge problem. The bags were not secure, my clothes got so much soy sauce on them, and the food was drenched in sauce by the time we got home, making it soggy and messy. We got a flyer in the mail, so we decided to check this new place out. We were immediately greeted and asked if we wanted to eat in or take out, and we said eat in. We could sit wherever we wanted and were immediately given a menu and egg drop soup, which I wasn't expecting. It was nice and hot which tasted good since it was a cold day. The food is what you'd typically find at a Chinese fast food place, but when you say you want to eat in, it's a mix of a traditional sit down restaurant where you order at your table, get actual plates and utensils, and are waited on. Our waiter was attentive despite there being quite a few people coming in to pick up their take out. The place is new, so everything is clean and modern. Like even the bathroom mirror had buttons on it which confused me until I realized it was a defogger...in a restaurant. It's also cool being able to see the food being cooked since there's a huge doorway that lets you see into the kitchen. I love the staff here. They are so friendly! I also love that it's a sit down restaurant. You can get a menu at the counter but you seat your staff and they come take your order. You get a complementary corn egg drop soup. It was a little heavy on the chicken broth flavor for me, but still...free always tastes good! We started with 2 vegetable egg rolls that were crispy outside but a bit toward mushy inside. They were on the smaller side but tasted decent. Plus, give me sweet & sour sauce and everything is better! I had the Shrimp Chow Fun noodles, which were very tasty and the shrimps were big and juicy! I would get this again. My hubby had the Beef Broccoli, which he said was really good and he loved that they used fresh broccoli. You get a fortune cookie at the end and go to the counter to pay. China Bros was open during Christmas and new year! I came here twice and I was shocked the second time because they still serve lunch special during holidays ! I ordered the Conbination Kung Pao on the lunch special menu and look at the portion that was served! You get to pick if you want fried rice, half fried rice & half chowmein, or chowmein. It also comes with the egg soup . The price is VERY reasonable as well. Cheapest you can find. Thr service was superb. The servers were respectful. Food arrived at the table quickly too. Chinese chefs. Friendly Chinese servers. I had hoped for some at least moderately good food. This part of the Inland Empire has trouble attracting good, authentic Chinese restaurants, but there are a few out there. Just not this one. It was terrible, over-hyped, Americanized Chinese food. Black bean fish - made from fish that was most likely tilapia, or something similar. It tasted bitter like a bottom feeder. Equally disappointing, the black beans were not fermented. The fish had been dipped in a heavy batter, and the batter was tough. Salt and pepper shrimp. Same problem. The shrimp were large sized, but had been coated in a heavy, rubbery batter with very little flavor with the exception of all the chopped chiles and green onion on top. Worse, the shrimp were way overcooked and even worse, not cleaned first. Foul. Mapo tofu. Rather bland taste with a little bit of sweetness, but actually one of the better tasting dishes we tried. The gravy was overly thickened for my preference. On the positive side, there was lots of tofu and finely chopped pork. It was lacking much in the way of vegetables, which is actually a good thing for Mr. B. Char siu bao. Decent bbq pork filling and tender steamed bun. I was quite disappointed with the meal. I usually stay away from Chinese fast food places. Unfortunately, I would have to put this place in that category. read more

Didn't read any reviews before visiting this place. Just saw there was Chinese food and went for it. So glad we did. Upon walking in we were greeted immediately. There was quite a few people already sitting and eating ( great sign ). We sat down and looked over the menu. They were able to answer any questions we had. We went with the chow mein special #83. WOW amazing flavor. Great portion of meats. I will definitely order this again without a question. Pork Dim sum. This was probably one of the best I've had and I'm not kidding when I say that. Perfect amount of broth and filling. Booming with flavor and freshness. Hot and sour soup. Here's why it didn't get 5 stars. I didn't realize it was a seafood hot and sour. I told them to just remove it from the bill I didn't want it. The manager came over and said he can remake it anyway I'd like instead. Cool, got it remade the way I wanted. But the flavor just still wasn't there for me. It's always a hit or miss at any Chinese restaurant. It's either REALLY good or REALLY not good. They're hot and sour just isn't it... flavor is way off. Place is clean. Seems to be well taken care of. Whole staff was great. Food came out quick and VERY hot. And I mean burn your face off hot. It is ok. Better quality than Golden Chopsticks but the quality is far less. "Singapore noodles" dry meat and the noodles are the same ones I have had at other places with a curry powder on super thin rice noodles that were included same as steamed rice or chow mean with lunch specials...anyway- NOT worth $12.95 for the small portion they give you. The lunch specials are a great deal of you are eating there. Otherwise you do NOT get the soup that adds to the value, nor do they substitute the lack of soup with an egg roll. The portion of mushroom chicken was half of what I'm used to receiving. Way more veggies than any protein in the dish. $4.95 to swap steamed rice for fried. THAT is out of hand. $38 for fast food Chinese LUNCH. Nah. I will just drive to Red Ginger up in Corona. They have excellent food,, include soup with takeout lunch and they have cocktails Tried this place 3 times now and it just annoys me or underwhelming me each time. Good luck. Let me start by saying that normally I order the salt and pepper fish and it's always perfect. Tonight I order the salt pepper pork chop and I will say the flavor is good but the meat is the issue. I received all fat with and bone with a splash of meat. I would not recommend you ordering the porkchop. I'm still hungry and normally the fish would fill me up.
