But other than that our family enjoyed the pool a lot. Sunsational is great when getting your business - getting a quote, drawing up the plans & going into contract. This is the honeymoon stage. They are quick to build & the field guys are respectful. During the building phase, Julie & her office team are very responsive. The honeymoon is over once they have your last payment. Their customer service after completion of project is horrible. April can be nasty & Julie is non-responsive. If u do get her, she goes back on things she agreed to during construction. We made a change to our plans which meant less pavers were needed - which were ordered but not delivered (& construction was still underway). We said we didn't need the extra pavers and if we could have a credit (remember final payment hasn't been made yet). Julie said yes "we'll work something out". Long story short, we got stuck with the extra pavers, nasty customer service, Julie saying no but offering to sell us a tiki hut & an outdoor kitchen, and our having to pay $500 more on a project in order to use up the pavers! If you make changes that will cost you more money, they will be all over it of course. But if it's a change or damage that will cost THEM some money, good luck - you're on your own. 4* stars for construction & time it took 3* stars for customer service DURING construction. Sunsational Pool has given me great disappointment starting from the beginning. First, we paid Sunsational Pool on 04/19/16 a deposit to start the job. On 05/02/16 we called Sunsational Pool to find out the status of the project. They lied to us by saying the staff had submitted the permit for the pool after we made our first deposit and blue prints was created (one week prior). By contacting the Town of Jupiter, we were informed that that permit was not submitted and later found that it was only submitted when my wife call their office. Then the timing and setback of the permit which took more than a month; Sunsational Pool office did not do any follow-up to expedite the permit with the permitting agencies. I know this because both my wife and I was in contact with the Water District and Town of Jupiter. On 06/24/16 Sunsational Pools started the dig, the contractors damaged my roof and the company failed to mention the damage made until I saw it. On 07/10/16 my wife notified Sunsational Pools of the damage when we returned from vacation and Sunsational Pools failed to respond until after I found a certified roofer to make the repairs. On 08/11/16 When I got home, part of the roof was now missing shingles and the metal fascia was exposed. I sent a picture to Sunsational Pools and asking if my roof repairs was completed and response from Zack was, "That's how it existed prior to the damage and also your roof was rotted out before he fixed the hole that we did". This was funny as I responded "Interesting, I bought the house less than two years and there were no rotten portion of the roof during inspection" I also responded that "I will have a certified roofer come in and fix the makeshift job and send the company the bill". I have hired a certified roofer to fix the so call repairs. 07/15/16 Sunsational Pools made a mistake on the ordering and size of the pavers. They charged an additional cost for an error not made by us. I informed Sunsational Pools the error and charges should be absorbed by Sunsational Pools and not the customer (I still paid it since I wanted the project to be completed and they still believe the customer is to pay for it). On 08/04/16 Sunsational Pools sent an electrician to run the connections. They ran the conduit pipes against the wall and drilled a hole through the new fence to pass the pipe instead of digging and putting it in the ground. I called Zack and his response; "you will have to pay extra to run it 24 inches below grade for code". On 08/06/16 Zack came and met me, His justification to the electrical, "we run all our electrical the same way for all our customers and it passed code inspection" and "I did not tell them how to run the electrical". How was I supposed to know? Again, the company tried to make it as the customers fault. (Would you run an electrical pipe by drilling a whole through a picket fence?) Here is goes, one year later my wife decided she was a pool heater added, so on 12/04/18 she called and had Sunsational Pools do the installed seeing that they were the company that built the pool and did all the plumbing and wanted to give them a second chance. Sunsational Pools came out 12/08, the installed the equipment, which was placed almost one inch under the existing pavers. My wife called the company and they sent someone on 12/11/18, on this day they "ran" the electrical and lifted the unit and claimed all was working. The heater was not working. On 12/15/18 the company sent the electrician to check the unit, the electrician said that the wire was too small and he had to rewire the entire connection back from the breaker box and that why the "unit was never connected on 12/11/18". I decided the turn the lights on the pool after they rewired the unit, guess what! The light came on and shut back off or it blink and not stay on. Called Jammer, and he informed me that they did not interfere with the lighting and it could be a coincidence that the light stop working. The light switch for the pool is on the same dedicated breaker box for the pool system, how could something that was working properly stop working after the pool dedicated breaker box was rewired; and call it a coincidence? There was also no indication if they will send someone to fix the problem. As of the date of this post, the company has not sent anyone to fix the problem they created. In summary; based on responses I received, Sunsational Pools does not show any regards to your property, uses any good judgment, cares how their workmanship looks or double check their work to make sure they did not cause additional problems. You pay the company allot of money for a clean and proper job but in the end, there is so much headache. I WILL NOT REFER OR RECOMMEND. read more

Pay attention to red flags. When the most recent compliments and positive feedback they receive that they're willing to share on their website is two years old, pay attention because that is a red flag. If you can handle the truth, keep reading. I will say they absolutely have the right people in sales. Their sales team certainly knows all the right things to say. And since they are on the front line of customer contact, they are the ones that lead to a second look. However, once the sales team is done with you (money is paid) and you are handed over to the job manager and office employees you will notice a huge difference in attitudes. Although my pool is absolutely beautiful, it has taken months so far to fix and clean up the mess they left behind, and we are nowhere near finished with that task. The subcontractors were great to work with once the job manager provides you with direct contact information. Some of the promises that will be made to you during the sales pitch will not be upheld. Such as hauling away debris and fill dirt. We were told the fill dirt and concrete chunks from an existing slab would all be hauled away. Although some of it was, we are still finding huge chunks of concrete, pavers and garbage buried under the mounds of dirt they refused to haul away, as we try to get our yard looking nice again. One day while at work, I received a phone call, "...we will spread the dirt because everyone wants to build up their yard", to which I said "OK, and haul away what you don't spread". What really happened was they completely buried our sprinkler system under a foot of dirt which was filled with the concrete chunks and garbage, which caused us to have to hire someone to repair and replace the heads, costing us more money on top of the cost of the pool. What didn't get spread was left in a huge mound nearly killing one of our fruit trees. When I made the call to report the chunks of concrete, garbage and dirt left behind, and the damage done to the sprinklers, I was told by an office worker in the typical snarky, condescending and sarcastic tone, that our job has been signed off and closed and any additional work we want done is our own responsibility. We have been asked several times who did our pool, although we tell them who it was, we also tell them to stay far, far away from this company. I truly believe that any company is better than this one. They may have taken our money and robbed us from enjoying this life-changing experience, but we will do our best to keep them from doing the same to anyone else. I could go on, but this should be enough to deter anyone from using this company. But, if you do, I certainly hope it turns out to be like one of the reviews which I can't believe is true. read more

The company is aptly named "Sunsational" because they truly are "Sensational." They have literally created my dream come true with such professionalism, integrity, and amazing service. They are a family and they become your family also. I truly believe the way you treat people is the way get treated in life, and dealing with Julie and the entire crew was nothing but short of extraordinary. They were on top of the job from start to finish and as a result I have the most beautiful pool and landscaping that someone with may budget could have. It truly has been a dream come true and I actually miss dealing with them. There were some hitches along the way that were actually my fault that caused some delays but it was worth the wait to have exactly what I wanted in the end. With that also brought some increase in cost but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. They know what they are doing and they deserved to be paid for the work. I could go on forever about how happy I am with Sunsational but see for yourself. Just give them a call. read more

She later had someone from the office to apologize but my feeling is if you make the mistake you make it right. DO NOT use this company. They don't show up on time, do terrible work, and are very unreliable. They owner doesn't return calls and leaves it up to her salesperson to handle upset customers. I don't think they understand their own products. The bottom line is that they are unreliable and do terrible work. You'll regret it if you use them. read more

I'd like to start out by saying we are not writing this review 'lightly'....we have given Julie and Ron every chance to handle this situation. In summary, Sunsational pools crushed our septic drain field when they drove one of their giant dump trucks over it. My husband even went out to tell them to put boards/plywood/something down over the grass so that it wouldn't collapse thru the yard. They said they would and never did. My husband contacted Ron numerous times after we had Jupiter Septic come out and explain that our field/pipes were crushed. This doesn't happen from a lawnmower and certainly not from our dogs. It was specifically done by the truck carrying the sand for under our patio, the same one that left 12 inch ruts in the yard directly OVER our septic. There were several other half*ss things done with our pool that I won't bore you with. Yes, Julie has you come to her house so she can SELL you on their pools....after she drew up our plans we LITERALLY never saw her again. We had a quick fix done on our drain field for $1000 dollars as opposed to a whole new one for $5000+....we asked Ron & Julie for HALF of that and we'd call it good........just $500 dollars in good faith. Nope. They refuse. After several texts and phone calls back and forth with Ron, who said he would look into it....now he tells my husband "Julie said we didn't do it'...... I will certainly be vocal and warn others of their horrible customer service and their blatant disregard for our property. read more
