I generally had a good experience with my window tint experience. I wasn't sure which percentage to pick, so the service person explained the different tints available and showed me samples. I never did get his name, since he didn't introduce himself. FYI- the staff here do not wear masks (there is currently a mask mandate in Montgomery County). With all of that said, I'm extremely satisfied with the outcome of the tint. The price was reasonable and I feel great knowing it has a lifetime warranty. This shop is such a joke! Initially I was told I needed an appointment for my Range Rover for tinting all 4 windows and back. Got a quote and made a 9am appointment (to wait) 2 weeks out. When I show up, I spend 20 min with their sales lady and then tech going over the truck, inspecting the factory tint and looking at options. Filled out the forms and then they told me they didnt have time to fit me in that day, despite it being 9:30am now and it only being a 3 hr job at the most. They rescheduled me for the following tues at 9am, offering repeatedly to "buy me lunch" for the inconvenience. No prob, I understand being overbooked and scheduling mistakes. I'm there at 8:45am following Tues. All my notes and order were thrown away "cause lots of people never come back" (sales women behind counter). We go through the process again of matching existing rear tint, etc, fill out all of her paperwork. She then tells me if I'm waiting, they cant guarantee I'll be done by 5pm since there are other customers in front of me and wont be able to even start on my car till noon! 2 appointments made well in advance for a WAIT service and both times I was blown off and treated like an inconvenience. Save yourself the headache of dealing with a shop that has no idea how to operate a business...if the front of the shop is this disorganized and incompetent, just imagine what their work looks like when they finally get around to doing it! read more

I had 3 piece wheels to go on my Infiniti Q50. They put sensors in my wheels and mounted tires. All 4 sensors broke inside of a month and they refused to correct the problem. They wanted to charge me to have them correct their mistake and the lady on the phone was very rude. I paid over $400 for this service and they duct taped the sensors to the wheel. Very professional. This place is trash and I told them just get the job done right, idc about the bill, but they did a poor job and wouldn't own up to their mistakes. Bad customer service and bad quality of work. I didn't know places existed with such bad service. I don't track or abuse the car, no reason they should've lasted 3 weeks. read more

Called yesterday 6/2/2015 last minute to get my car windows tinted. Was told I could come in and have the work done that day. Upon arrival I was told I couldn't get done they were too busy. After some brief communications between the owner and his wife I was told there was some factors that had changed since I spoke on the phone but they would accommodate me as promised. I knew of the company as they have been here for over 20 years, and know many people that have had work done here. The competence and quality of their work showed on my completed car. My husband brought my Nissan in for a car starter - after the job was done a bunch of lights popped up on my dashboard, so my husband walked back in and they said "oh it's fine they should shut off after driving for a bit" - this was done last week, check engine light is still on. i brought my car to our local auto shop for an inspection and emissions test and the auto shop employee was shocked to hear the check engine light was on at all after this procedure additionally he pointed out that they left strips of wire under the pedals - and to top it off, the car starter doesn't even work properly- the car will start but the hot air doesn't blow out until the key is in the car. have to take time again from my day to bring my car in- AND got attitude from the sales woman - horrible customer service. read more

I honestly feel bad to write this and hate to make a business look bad, but I thought I'd be honest for future customers since my experience was sub-par. I just got my car, brand new off the lot. Many people suggested this place. I looked them up, and read great things, long time in business, it was close by, everything worked out. I paid roughly $285 (with tax) for tint on all my windows but the front windshield. Most money I've ever spent on tint since my last tint job was done in NE Philly for $100 and done beautifully. Picked up my car, looked good, noticed some little bubbles, made nothing of it. Waited about 2 weeks and noticed there were still bubbles on my rear window, few on the sides, and even large squiggles on the windows. I also noticed that many of the bubbles had contamination in them, clearly dirt. Also, some of the tint was literally shifted on the side window, leaving a good half-a-centimeter gap. Went back to the shop to express my disinterest and was quickly given excuses ranging from 'we use hard water' to 'it's hard to put those large pieces on the back', to 'the air quality in the shop' etc. I was a bit shocked that the person who was servicing me was trying to basically tell me that the job they did was satisfactory to their standards. I began to state that I was highly dissatisfied for paying almost $300 for a job and having clear contamination on the tint as well as bad alignment. They still gave me the same response back about the water... the complexity... etc. Finally, the lady grabbed the owner and he agreed to re-tint the areas in question but he seemed almost annoyed that I was bringing it back to them. Got the tint re-done. Noticed some little bubbles still, but let it go. Few weeks passed and truth be told, there are MORE areas on my tint that are OBVIOUSLY noticeable. From larger bubbles to finger nail style bubbles, to squiggles, etc. You can even still see clear dirt contamination under the tint. As well as one of the windows still have an obvious shift to the tint leaving a gap in the window. At this rate, I don't even want to bring it back to them because I feel that they would consider it a hassle and almost show anger in me for bringing it to their attention. I asked friends of friends who owned tint shops in other areas and even they said they were shocked to see the quality I was left with. Overall the tint looks good, from a far, you wouldn't notice it. But when you look up close, or even from an arms distance, you'd be shocked if you hear this tint job cost almost $300 bucks. I won't go here again, nor will I refer anyone else to them. As far as I can tell, they treat their luxury car customers much better than a standard consumer vehicle. read more

I have known Al for sometime..had not been to him in a while. He did all my past work from tinting windows to graphic work. I just recently had him repair a vintage neon sign of mine. They actually had to replace some of the lettering which had been broken....works and looks awesome!!!! ..That said I recently picked up an 04 Mustang GT. I had him do the 5% window tint all around...everyone I spoke to agreed that dark of tint can be difficult to work with...few bubbles in the tint at pick up, they said let the car sit in the sun and they will disappear , well they were correct, car sat in the sun at home and bubbles were gone later that day. The car was purchased with after market striping, I did not like two of the stripes...who ever did it was not an expert...Al and his team replaced the two stripes with identical material...I must say it looks110% better. read more

I made an appointment to have a remote starter installed in my car. Tried it for a few days, it didnt work. I had to go back because I could not get the car started paid $325 dollars cash. Al installed more expensive remote stater, charged me an additional $100.00, and I paid cash. The starter worked a few times, but then my car started having all kinds of problems with the electronics. For example the ignition would work sporadically, the car turned off while I was driving, my horn stopped working, and the hazard lights would activate when the car was off. I was told that the car had some recalls, and I should take it to the dealer to fix them. Then after the Dealer addressed the issues I should take the car back to Sunsational. I did what Al at Sunsational required, and delivered it to Sunsational. They kept the car one day. Al called and said he refused to reinstall the starter and that the Ford Dealership was lying (Ford had said that nothing was wrong with the car). Sunsational did provide a partial refund, but blamed Ford and ME for not knowing that the remote was not compatible with the car. Al took zero accountability for his work read more

Please dont get your tints done here. They wanted 300 bucks for a g37 infiniti. I recieved quotes from around 15 different other places who all agreed to do it for 200 or less. I still came here because I got my other car done here and had a good experience. Made an appointment at 130. Drove an hour there and was told there was no record of my appointment despite speaking to danielle on the phone several different times. They said they can get me in but wont be done until 5 pm. I was frustrated but left the key and left to kill 5 hours in norristown while they worked on my car. Came back at 5 and they had the car prepped but claimed they didnt know what % to tint to use. I had told the guy when i have him they key twice that i wanted 20%. Yet when I walk in at 5 i still have to wait 2 and a half more hours for them to finally do what should have been done at 130. I went an hour out of my way and paid 100 more than i should have to receive terrible customer service. Theres a million places do get tints do not get them done here. read more

I'll try to be as fair as possible with my review but I can't honestly say I had a good experience at Sunsationall. I recently took my Porsche Cayenne GTS here to have the front windows and windshield tinted along with my roof rails and window trim covered in black vinyl. The communication was poor, I dropped my car off at 7:30 am and followed up at 2:30 pm to get an idea when I should come pick up my car. I was told 5:30 pm and when I arrived it wasn't finished which wasn't a huge issue and was asked if I could come back at 6:30pm. When I arrived at 6:30 pm the car still wasn't done and I waited until about 7:20 pm for it to be complete. As soon as I got on the road home I noticed about a 3 inch scratch through the windshield film right in front of the steering wheel. The next morning I called to address the issue and made an appointment to have the film corrected which was offered to me right away. Upon further inspection of the car I noticed the wrap was done very poorly on the roof rails. There were multiple points at the seams where the chrome was visible and multiple cuts in the vinyl where the installer had cut too deep while trimming the vinyl and cut the layer below leaving chrome exposed. When I returned to have my windshield film replaced I addressed the issues with the roof rails. Again poor communication, I called around 2:30pm for an update and was told I would get a call back in the next 30 minutes with when the car would be done. I heard nothing and ended up just showing up around 5:30pm to pick up my car. The windshield film was replaced and was done well but instead of fixing the vinyl wrap they simply cut patches of vinyl to cover the exposed chrome pieces. This prompted me to do a full inspection of their work and I've come to notice a 3 inch cut in my paint below my rear passenger window trim. At this point I have decided to cut my losses, I paid $1000 for this service and other than the tint they installed my experience was overall very poor. I'm very active in the surrounding car communities and can't say I will ever recommend their services. read more

CAUTION! Know that if anything goes wrong, Al the owner will let you know why it is your fault....not his. I brought a 2010 Corvette in for a simple GM stripe install and a detail. Detail job was poor and many areas completely ignored (i.e door jambs). Al blamed me for not pointing out what I wanted done...even though I had requested the door jambs. And the $400 stripe kit from GM is not adhereing correctly because it was placed incorrectly and Al again blamed the quality of the stripe saying it was placed "good enough". There was no offer to make anything right or discount any of the monies paid. Very dispapponted and will never be going back. read more

I dropped my car off at 9am to get a single rear window stripped of existing tint and re-tinted. I was called at 3:40pm and was asked who did the original tint and to tell me they were starting on my car shortly. My wife drove by at 5:45 and my car still hadn't moved so I gave them a call because they are supposed to close at 6pm and wanted to make sure I was getting my car back. When I called them they said my car would be done around 7pm and they would call me with about 15 min before they finish to let me know to come pick it up. At 7:30 I had no phone call so I went over to the shop. As I arrive I ask if my car was completed and she told me the car was going to be coming right around. I sat in the waiting room for another hour before I was able to drive my car away. They had my car for 11 hours for a rear window tint. Needless to say I will not be coming back. read more

we took our Ford Mustang to Sunsational for racing stripes. We supplied the racing stripes (over 100+ people installed them from American Muscle with NO PROBLEM)!!!!! He charged us $477.00 for one day crappy work!! air bubbles all over, sloppy patch jobs and wrinkles in racing stripes, even on the hood scoop!!!! do not waste your money there, horrible work!!! Never go there AGAIN and will tell everyone I talk to, don't go to them. Al, used the product we bought from American Muscle as the excuse!!! Really!!! A little while back I went to Jim's Liberty on Johnson Highway in Norristown, PA. I had a minor issue and had a Civil Discussion with the owner about it. I will never forget what he said. He said I want you to leave here Happy. I would not want you to walk out of here unhappy because you won't come back and you will tell other people about your bad experience. He made it right on the spot and I will never forget that. He wanted to make it right. I left with a smile and thought he is a decent man. I say that to say SunsationALL does NOT follow this philosophy. If you are unhappy with their work EXPECT an argument, no accountability, hassle, lack of customer service and disrespect. When I went in for my consultation they were as nice as nice can be. When I picked up my vehicle it was not what I thought it was going to be/what I was advised it would be. I was told in a week the tint would meet my expectations. A week passed, and there was no change. I went back and nicely tried to explain that. One of their workers came out to look at my car and said this was one of those rare occasions the tint would not meet my desired look due to the manufacturing style of my windshield. I was advised I would get a refund and they would remove it. The owner was in the process of writing me a check. When VERY RUDELY the other owner who stays in the back over the intercom system says "if she wants this removed ; it will come out of her refund; she will have to pay $25.00. He never came out to speak with me. Did not address me by my first name. The owner who handles the front desk looked at me and went to the back. I assumed she was going to speak with him and tell him how unprofessional he was. I was Wrong. She came back and it was a day and night experience. She told me they did quality work. They don't refund just because it did not meet my expectations/don't like the way it turned out. I said what about the person who said give it a week? Her response he's just a 19 year old kid who does not know much about the business. I said what about the person who said it's one of those rare occasions the tint wont meet my expectations due to my manufacture style, she said he's only been with us for 4 years . We went back and forth. She said "Look! you have 2 options pay to get it removed or leave it as is." So much for respect of the customer. I walked out. About 25 minutes later I received a voice from the front desk owner saying she was sad to see me leave that way. She wanted me to call her back to discuss things. ABSOLUTELY NOT! You showed me no respect while I was there. You did not try to make it right while I was there. All of this over $40.00. So the moral of the story, if you're happy with the services you should be fine. If not, BUYER BEWARE!! You will be in for a ride you don't want to experience. read more

STAY FAR AWAY! In my opinion the detailing job to my car was sub-par. They also damaged my vehicle, the police had to be called and now I have to go to small claims court because the owners are not willing to pay me to have the vehicle fixed. These guys are the bomb! I am very particular with the way my cars look and I recently brought my 2014 GS 350 F sport to have it detailed since the dealership I bought it from looked like they detailed it with a brillo pad. Dropped it off in the AM and was done same day, they made the car look like it just came off the showroom floor. They buffed out all the top coat scratches and made this car look brand new (price was very reasonable).
