I love Bowling games and it's so fun to play with my friends and it was so good seeing!

Love to go here on student nights and on the weekends! The lanes are well taken care of and the management rocks. Thankful for sunset because I know we'll always have a good time!

Such a great bowling place with a family feel. We went for the 1st time on a Saturday night at 8 with 2 families and, though it was busy, we didn't have to wait long for a lane. It looks like it went under a renovation recently and is really cute inside. The bathrooms were also updated and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. We love to support local businesses like this one and will definitely be back again soon.

Horrible place to go to bowl. Literally go anywhere else. The only saving grace is the nice bartender and the wonderful women behind the food counter. This place is not disability friendly. I'm a type 1 diabetic and chronically ill, and I have to have water and snacks in my bag just in case. I didn't mind buying food here, that's fine, but when the extremely rude male told me I couldn't have my water bottle no matter what. His tone was so rude, and they even took a ball from my friend because it was supposedly a child's ball. But it was the only one she could use comfortably, and when she tried to tell the man, he said it didn't matter and hid the ball behind the main counter. Ridiculous. $1 bowling and $1 shoes is a complete lie. It was a false advertisement. It was roughly $7 per person. What sucks is this is a college town, and they treated college students (some in our party weren't even college students) like trash. Go anywhere else if you can.

This place is awful - they sold my lane out from under me after i bought two games - they dont need your business apparently

I am not sure what to say about this place. We came here to have a good time bowling but happiness was replaced with a solemn feeling of sadness combined with nostalgia. It reminds me of a 1980s bowling alley. A 1980s bowling alley that reigned in the 80s, was a bit worn in the 90s, was ready to close in the 00s, and is clinging onto life support in the 2010s. The staff is nice. The beer was ok. The price was cheap. Now for the bad: The balls are wonky and chunky. The spare tire off of your car would roll better. They are in a word...destroyed. The place looks dirty and no matter how clean it actually is it will look dirty. The equipment is from the 1980s. It smells funny, the shoes smell funny, everything smells funny. The worst part is...you have to pay for music. Of all the inexpensive perks music would be it. Instead of at least playing some 1980s rock we have to suffer through the bone chilling grinding of age old machines that are pieced together by Wall-E's great grandfather.

There's way too much to be done around here for this guy to be ignoring guests and playing games.

Nothing fancy here. The snack lady was nice but the guys working the shoe area were rude. Do not expect any bells or whistles.

Sunset bowling closed 30 minuets early as they watched us pull into the parking lot. Very unhappy customers and very unprofessional.

I'd called…read moreearlier during the day and spoke with the owner, Thomas, who informed me that demand fluctuates so there wasn't a reliable estimate on wait times for lane. We come in around 9pm and do the lunar special ($22.99 per person, shoes included, for two hours of bowling). We got a lane immediately and managed to get through five games in the first hour and a half. Five games are more than enough to tire you out, so we called it a night after that. I lost all five, but I was about to win the fourth if I hadn't had the win stolen from me by three strikes in the 10th turn. I would recommend Fiesta Lanes to anyone looking to do bowling in the San Marcos/New Braunfels area. The only thing I will say is that bowling seems to be rather expensive in Texas compared to where I'm from--every alley I looked up seemed to be more than $20/person. I don't remember ever paying more than $20/person for a satisfactory bowling experience at home, but compared to other offerings in the area I'd say the lunar special is a pretty good deal.

As a parent, if you try to use the Friday $5 promo with kids bowl free they won't let you, you can't use any promo with the KBF. and that was not stated in the fine print The front desk lady is extremely unpleasant everytime we go. Today we had 3 kids ready to bowl, we get there at 11am and front desk lady says they are closed for events until 3pm. Their social media had advertised $5 Friday open play from 11am-7pm. I showed her and said "this was posted knowing you wouldn't be able to accommodate?" Her reply was "no we have 2 events so we aren't doing $5 Friday or KBF until 3pm and that she would get the manager". Oh and that she isn't in charge of the marketing team. Once I left they posted a closure announcement on instagram I fear the marketing team could use some training. I do give props to the food court. Great food and the cashier is always extremely friendly. It's extremely unfortunate- I love supporting local, I used to bowl here as a child and was so excited to take my kids here but this was the last straw. Go to santikos or literally any other place if you don't want to be disappointed. It's not worth the money or frustration.

There was a variety of games from 'old school' to newer games and there was plenty for every age. All of the games except one were working, which is better than most of these types of places. My grandson played the Willy Wonka 'coin' game and managed to get all nine character cards and a golden ticket card which is a big deal. The few who get this have their picture taken and placed in the machine - a 'wall of fame' so to speak. When we asked the staff to add his picture they said they were out of film. We offered to purchase some (Polaroid) and they initially declined saying they couldn't 'accept' it. After having a good discussion with the manager, they agreed that if we went to Walmart to get film, they would take the picture and post it, which all occurred. Not sure how they 'ran out of' film, but aside from that, all went well. Folks who aren't grandparents won't likely understand what grandparents will do for grandkids!
