They have vegan and gluten free items (if that rocks your world). Smoothies and Ice cream should you want an indulgence. Ice Mocha - small size (3 shots) was a good afternoon break from the heat. Not very sweet - that is a good thing. Super cute little candy came with the cappuccino. Overall quality of coffee is okay. This is a solid little coffee stand in the middle of nowhere and I-26. I've been here twice. Once when it was pouring rain and once again in the bright heat of summer. Both times they delivered salvation in a cup. Now it wasn't The Best espresso drink but it was pretty damn good. My mocha was dark and sweet. And it was just as good iced the second time around. Not only was it good it was a fair price. It's always nice not having to hand over your firstborn for a cup of coffee. The girl took her time with my drink this time which is fine because she was really nice and we had a great small talk about my kids. Being a city gal with small town roots this kind of scenario appeals to me. I like to slow down and smell the roses. Plus it's a welcome stop in what can tend to be a long, long drive. I encourage you to try this little place. The pastries are decent and the coffee is good and the sentiments shared bring us closer as a community. Go big, go local. read more

White sunset is delicious! They have sugar free options which are equally amazing! They place a chocolate covered espresso bean on the top of your drink which is a nice little added touch. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. It's a great little stop to and from the cost from Portland. They have food options, as well. read more

I got a hot chocolate with almond milk (I think? maybe it was soy.. can't recall what they offer) which was unfortunately fairly bland and tasted like Swiss Miss, but my family members got coffees that were apparently really delicious. Sunset coffee is THE place to stop between Portland and the coast. Owned/operated by the nicest local lady. Amazing coffee, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches... Some people like a slash of coffee with their cup of sugar syrup. DB/SB tribe. I am not one of those people. All our coffees are dialed every time we stop. Stopped today on the way home from Seaside. Usually see lots of cars, so figured it must be good. Ordered caramel lattes and hot chocolate. No way could we tell that there was caramel in the lattes, and the espresso part wasn't very strong either. More like weak brewed coffee with lots of milk. The hot chocolates weren't any better. They were weak on the chocolate, to the point that they weren't even light brown, just slightly sweet milk. I don't know if they were trying to be cheap on the flavoring, but it was absolutely ridiculous. I usually order my flavored lattes at Starbucks with only 1/2 the flavoring, but this was like 1/16 flavoring or less! Too bad, because it would have been a very convenient stop for the way home. read more
