Tasty treats and really inviting seating. I know I could have afternoon coffee with a short nap and no one would care. This is well worth getting off the highway for a break.

Triple shot vanilla latte with oat milk

Super underwhelmed with this place. I was eager to try this place with its high ratings, but the espresso was so bitter, I threw it away with 3/4 of the drink left. I ordered a triple shot vanilla latte with oat milk (See picture). The drink was so watery (rare for one with oatmilk), the espresso blend had to have been on the darker side leading me to think that's why it's so bitter and the drink was lacking vanilla. So disappointed with my drink. On the bright side, the staff was super friendly and the itself was a great place to meet up with others or work remotely.

Stopped into Seaside Coffee House for a casual breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The space is inviting -- not too big, not too small -- with a mix of seating that makes it feel both cozy and functional, whether you're catching up with a friend or just grabbing a solo moment with your coffee. The menu offers a great selection of coffee, tea and blended drinks, plus a tempting display of baked goods and breakfast options. I went with a classic drip coffee and their bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, which totally hit the spot. Service was friendly, and the whole place had a relaxed, local feel to it that made me want to linger a little longer. If you're in Seaside and looking for a great place to start your day, this spot is definitely worth a stop.

As soon as I walked in I knew it was my go to coffee shop in town and ignored all other shops. Although I did not sample any of the pastries they looked awesome! Michelle, the owner, made us feel right at home by providing truthful yet graceful facts of Mens inability to multitask when we asked for a job! No job for us but, she would gladly take our money. The shop was exactly what a coffeehouse should be, inviting and friendly. Thank you!

I ordered their blended Great White, which features white espresso blended with white chocolate. It was a delightful treat--smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. I tried their everything bagel breakfast sandwich. Toasted to perfection, it was packed with flavor and made for a satisfying start to my day. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was friendly.

This is a local's coffee spot, with incredibly cheerful and friendly staff. Local? They know your name. Tourist? They will ask about your home town. Great food, coffee, and tea. Locals were sitting around visiting with their coffees on the comfy couches and easy chairs. This is the coffee house that you wish you had down the block from your house.

Very good food the O.G. sandwich is exceptional. The service is good. VERY good ambiance!

It's a small restaurant inside with a few tables outside. When you put your name down with the hostess, she actually calls your phone number to tell you the table is ready! What great service. When it came time to eat, my friend and I ordered the breakfast and lunch special respectively. The lunch special that day was pork adobo sandwich with fries. I happened to ask for ranch on the side and OMG that was the best decision I made that day. Their ranch is one of the best ranches I've ever had. It's packed with dill and it's not too runny. I will be remembering THE RANCH DRESSING from here for a long time!! Osprey is a hidden gem on the coast and I highly recommend giving it a try if you're in the area!

Located near the end of a strip mall on Broadway on the Southeast side of the river, this tiny cafe and bakery serves up love and smiles. We were traveling with our two adult children who are on the autism spectrum. Our oldest is gluten free and our youngest, well he identifies as a bull moose and can be about as easy to wrangle. There were plenty of gluten free options for our oldest. Our server Zoe rocking the Wonder Woman tank was a super hero! The owner quickly tuned in to our family being on team quirky and made us feel welcome and at home. Everyone was so friendly! The food? Exceptional! This was our third breakfast out on our trip and the Chalkboard Cafe took the blue ribbon and it was not even close! My youngest had the biscuits and gravy, with a couple of eggs and a sausage patty. He's a charter member of the clean plate club and met the challenge. It was a generous portion. Our oldest had a half order of the B&G and was tempted to have one of the hot from the oven gluten free mini Marion berry pies that the owner proudly paraded around the dining room. Steaming from the oven this Marion berry pie tasted like the best of an Oregon summer. I was glad he shared a couple of bites. It was such a delight that we took a pie home for later! My wife and I shared the traditional eggs Benedict. The eggs were perfectly poached, and topped with a thick piece of ham grounded with their perfect English muffin. The Hollandaise was rich and creamy providing a wonderful coat on top of the egg. Their red potatoes were seasoned just right and were a compliment to the eggs Benedict as they would compliment most any savory breakfast. In addition to the pie we took home a couple their chocolate krinkle cookies which were not gluten free. That's the bad news. The good news is that we did not have to share them! They were heavenly! We get to Seaside at least once or twice a year and the Chalkboard Cafe will be part of our regular dining rotation while visiting. Thanks for the love and excellence! Great job and we are looking forward to our next visit!

I got the Denver omelette with a side of pancakes and I can eat a lot of food but this is a BIG meal and I was already feeling like I ate too much with a full pancake and 1/4 of my omelette left! I really liked the omelette though and it was well stuffed with all the ingredients and drizzling some hot sauce and ketchup on it was fantastic! Mom got the same meal and she felt the same way, large portions, but loved everything! My nephew got the plate of buttermilk pancakes which came with six big ones and we were surprised that he ate 4 of them!! He LOVED them! My niece got the crepes but didn't want any apples or strawberries on them and asked if they would be able to just put cinnamon sugar on them instead and our waitress said she would ask the cooks and thankfully they were able too! She liked them and I got to eat about half of one and they were actually really REALLY good! As much as I loved my fluffy buttermilk pancakes I loved the crepes just as much, maybe even slightly more! The side of bacon was yummy but the side of sausage was one food none of us really liked. There wasn't much flavor to it so that was a bummer but even with that, everyone enjoyed their meals and we started off our morning at seaside with full bellies! Also we arrived around 8:30am and there was no wait and we were seated immediately. But by 9am there was a line of at least 20 people deep so if possible try to arrive before 9am if you don't want to wait for a table!
