This coffee is next level! I would say this and elk creek are head to head for best coffee in cannon beach. Loved my experience - the coffee is well worth the line. The ambiance is good.

Took a mini drive down to Cannon Beach and stopped by this cute coffee shop recommended by another local spot! Staff were not very chatty, however the coffee was amazing and I highly recommend trying one of their baked items!

One of the best things about the PNW is all the local coffee shops and Insomnia Coffee did not disappoint. A little tip is to get there early cause this place is known to have a line out the door. The coffee (lattes) were hot, smooth, and delicious and baristas were very nice and attentive. The space gives off quaint and cozy vibes. A little bonus is all the art through out that is made by local artist abs for sale. I picked up the cutest hand painted ornaments with scenes of Cannon Beach and other local spots. Definitely worth the stop!

Right in the heart of Cannon Beach, this is a pretty good stop for some quality coffee. There was a line coming out the door, but it didn't take that long to get through. My partner was thrilled they had cardamom syrup for a cardamom latte, which is surprisingly delicious. I got an iced quad vanilla latte - it was superb! We also got some warmed up biscuits that were scrumptious! The food is minimal with biscuits, scones, and some fridge items, like pre bought hard boiled eggs and vegan chia pudding. Nice seating inside, but it was crowded on the weekend.

Sat outside with our lab, he's licking his chops.

Finally caught this place open when we visited Cannon Beach. Worth our persistence, delicious coffee.

Love, love, love! This is exactly my type of spot. I love a good, local coffee shop with vibes and delicious pastries and comfy seating. Insomnia was just that. Walls of windows, comfy chairs, amazing pastries and great coffee. We came both days and hung out for a bit and made plans for the day here. It has plenty of easy street parking but there are also free lots nearby and it's very walkable to the rest of the town and shopping. Friendly staff and anything from their baked section was phenomenal. We tried cookies, lemon poppy and peach scones and their savory scone with Asiago cheese and rosemary I think. It was SO good we got two every day and indulged. Their apricot green tea is also very good.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, music and amazing coffee! Actually some of the best coffee I've had.

Upon arrival, I took the last parking space in the parking lot behind the building. However, there is street parking around the building and an additional public parking lot about a block behind the building. Walked in mid morning on a Tuesday and only waited in line behind one person before my order was promptly taken by a friendly cashier. Order was ready within 5-10 minutes. The latte art was beautiful on my Aztec mocha but it was too hot to drink. When I was able to finally drink it, it had hardly any sauce/syrup in it, and thus had no flavor. Unfortunately I did not end up drinking it. There were plenty of people seated in the tables at this time but there was one left when I arrived. The vibes on a weekday are definitely different than the weekend. It looks like they sometimes offer online ordering but it hasn't been available a single time that I have tried to use it. They get packed on the weekends and will have a line out the door so plan accordingly.

Pretty simple--really great coffee! The bacon/cheddar scone was good too, and the muffin top was tasty.

Fantastic Aztec mocha and salt and chocolate cookie. Busy but served fast. I think it's the coffee place open the latest.

This is a frequent stop of mine when visiting Tillamook County and I have never been disappointed…read more The Cafe has an excellent assortment of baked goods, or so it appears to the eye. I say this because I tried the almond danish on my first visit and it is so delicately delicious I have never found a need to venture beyond that taste treat. I often get breakfast and then bring the pastry (which is huge) with me to nibble on, and put a smile on my face, all day - & it stays fresh! They have a limited lunch and breakfast menu. However, I find it has significant enough variety that me and my guests have never had a problem finding something to enjoy. I have had breakfast there, never lunch. I find what I have eaten reliably tasty, but it does not rock. For the food I would put it in the low 4 category, pastry an absolute 5. Coffee blows away the chain coffee shops and I find it very tasty, not bitter. They do all the fancy drinks and they execute the one I always get - cappuccino - extremely well. My one bit of advice is to ask for the coffee in a mug if you are having it to stay because otherwise it will be served to you in a paper cup. I find paper cups cramp the froth into a small area and ALSO blocks your nose from getting a good whiff of that awesome coffee smell. Smelling is a huge part of taste - so do not forget the ask - there is no up charge for the real mug. Plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating with variety in the indoor, ranging from a very large, family style, round table in the middle of the room, to bars at the windows and tables throughout - with plenty of spacing. The outdoor seating is behind the roastery and consists of wooden picnic tables. This is complimented with an extremely unique and , obviously, cared for garden with a variety of flowers and evergreens. Finally, the service. One orders at the counter where my only experience has been one of patience, informative and courteous order takers. You then find a seat or you can wait for your order at the counter. The coffee is prepared immediately and, I have found, the food is prepared efficiently. I have nothing but very positive interactions with staff. Do note that they have a drive up window as well. Located directly across from the Tillamook Creamery: extremely convenient if accessing the Coast thru Tillamook. All in, I would rate Five Rivers about a 4.5 - Enjoy the experience!

Management needs to do a better job at this. Our friend and I both did not enjoy our hot lattes. The cold versions were ok. For those who collector stickers, it's $3.50 for one. About the same price as an espresso shot. Not worth it for me. Service was friendly from the female cashier. Interior is small but with plenty of seating. The location is right across the street from Tillamook creamery, but there are no crosswalks to get there. Crossing the street is a bit sketch. For a coffee roaster, I expected better quality.

(If not for D, this would be a 1 star review)…read more I've been a regular at Keebler Coffee for about a year, and until recently the service has always been solid. But over the last two Saturdays, my experience has been extremely disappointing because of the new barista, M. Two weeks ago, M waited on every person in front of me, but when it was my turn, she never took my order. She spent some time finishing (or appearing to finish) tasks for earlier customers, but once those were done, she drifted into random, meaningless tasks instead of helping the people waiting at the counter. My order was never taken at all--I stood there for 15 minutes and eventually left. It was one of the most bizarre customer service experiences I've ever had. This past Saturday wasn't any better. There were only about seven people in the café--three of them in my group--and yet M still couldn't figure out who a prepared sandwich belonged to. The same thing happened with a drink order. She simply couldn't identify which customer the items were for, even in a very small crowd. It was disorganized and frustrating to watch. Once again, the only thing that kept the situation from completely falling apart was D, the barista who consistently provides excellent service. D stepped in, tracked down the correct customers, took orders efficiently, fixed the mistakes M made with mine, and kept the café running smoothly. D is professional, attentive, and clearly cares about the customer experience. It's easy to understand why she seemed frustrated--she was essentially doing her job and M's at the same time. Keebler Coffee has been one of my favorite local stops, but M's lack of basic customer service skills--difficulty taking orders, organizing them, and delivering them--has made my last two visits extremely disappointing. If it weren't for D stepping up and keeping things on track, this review would be much harsher. I truly hope management addresses what's happening, because the service here used to be dependable.

It was a quest to locate and stop by the Columbia River Coffee Roasters while in Astoria, OR…read more We had sampled a coffee liqueur from Adrift Distillery in Long Beach, WA and had a mocha from Seaview Biscuit Company in Seaview, WA. Both sites had collaborated or specifically featured their roasted coffee beans. Their parking lot is located beneath the Astoria Bridge and across the street from the Finnish Brotherhood Building. I noted from the exterior this was the former Finnish Meat Market. Strong Scandinavian vibes while visiting Astoria. Upon entering we were warmly greeted by a very personable staff member. We enjoyed chatting with her. The site combined both retail and production roastery with a great bright interior facing the busy thoroughfare. There's merch available, including coffee beans. (Face palm, I forgot to buy some and get a business sticker!) Note: there are no espresso beverages available. However, featured instead are drip, nitro cold brew, and sparkling lemonade. Plus there are outstanding Thundermuck chocolate truffles. The nitro cold brew topped with cream was smooth and on point. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing. The truffles were quite remarkable. Overall, a terrific experience and glad to have located this Columbia River Coffee Roaster site. Business hours are 9am-2pm Monday to Saturday, closed Sunday.
