IDK how, but whatever he does, Dr. Steve's injections always last much longer than anywhere else making it so that I only need to come once a year for any maintenance versus the every 12-14 weeks of other injectors which obviously (and very thankfully) save a lot of time and money;) All my results were ON POINT and flawless. With very minimal pain, little to no bruising and very minimal scarring!! Tbh, barely any visible scars at all unless you look reallyyy closely. After having 4 kids (currently 6 and under), I was all about making HASTE when I was finally able to book my "mommy makeover" after the birth of my last. The scar under my nose has completely disappeared. It has only been a couple weeks. the way Dr. Svehlak hid it is masterful! He is seriously the most honest, kind, knowledgable, and talented surgeons I have met--and I have done my research for many years and consulted with at least 40ish surgeons around the world for various medical concerns. I recently saw an eye surgeon that specializes in eyes. He is a young hotshot and I am desperately disappointed with the results despite all his wonderful portfolio of clients. He did not listen at all to what I wanted and although he had agreed to my requests during the online consultation. During the surgery he did whatever he wanted. One incision left a very crooked asymmetrical scar with bumps, while the other incision on the other eye was perfect. It was so strange and I am confused as to why. When I asked, he explained that he had another patient and despite the thousands I spent could only be bothered to spend 3-5 minutes each time talking to me--even with the exorbitant consultation fee. Dr. Svehlak is the antithesis of that horrific experience. He consulted with me 3 times, for free, for an hour each time. He is so very generous and humble. I am floored after everything I went through this trip to LA to try to fix my eyes that were injured and other areas of trauma and literally regret seeing the other doctor because my eyesight is now impaired. I thoroughly am appreciative of the polar opposite experience with Dr. Svehlak and his team. All this instagram hoopla of late, advertising doctors as the best online with weird photoshopped images, all tied together promoting each other--it is all a gimmick. The best doctors are very difficult to find because they do not advertise. They do not charge exorbitant fees for consultations. They don't need to because they have enough happy patients from word of mouth. Dr. Svehlak and his team are old school like that. Talented, kind hearted, and truly caring. Unfortunately this lead to a lot of loose skin. This is the result of gaining and losing weight for years. It was going to be a lot of work to get my body looking normal again. I found Dr. Yamini while I was searching for the botox injection for jaw reduction (TMJ) on Realself, they were offering free consultation so I contacted them and tried to make an appointment via email, but they were lack in communication, after I told the front desk girl that I will take the appointment time that she gave me, I had no response from her, so I asked her if I was confirmed a couple of days later, she told me she has me down but to give her my DOB, then I did, but she didn't acknowledge it, an auto confirmation text or nothing. So on the (supposedly) appointment day, I texted her to confirm but she didn't respond till 2:20 and my appointment was at 2:15, then she called me I explained the situation, she told me she can reschedule my appointment then now she told me the consultation fee would be $150, I asked her about free consultation I saw on Realself, she said that is not for 2018, so I said I will think about this then call her back, then finally I started to get auto texts from the office... I went to Dr. Yamini in both 2010 and then returned in 2015 for additional surgery related to loose/droopy skin after weight loss (breast lift/tummy tuck). The staff were wonderful and Dr. Yamini has an amazing bedside manner. I had gotten one prior consult with another well known plastic surgeon who was pushy and made me feel rushed at my appointment. Dr. Yamini never suggested anything additional I should do and was actually conservative in his approach to ensure I had the best and safest results.
