We had our belongings shipped U-Pack and they will deliver your goods that you loaded on a trailer and give you three days to unload. Worried about finding a storage facility that would be accommodating to this was a little stressful but when visiting the facility they assured this was no problem and something they were accustomed to. Our tour of the facility, really impressed me. Well lit, great security, very clean and great customer service. I should mention that we have changed units too. We are now in third unit. As we moved into our place and had less items to store, we moved Into smaller units to save money. Moving was easy and painless as they have elevators, wide halls, lights, and flat bed dollys to help move your items in and out of units. The storage is facility is locked by gates after 10pm. To enter the building and elevator you have to enter your security code. The place is well surveillance with security cameras too. My only gripe is that I have to do new paperwork every time we change a unit. But I guess if I had switched to a another storage i would still be doing paperwork - so I guess I get it. Anyways - highly recommend for all your storage needs.

I then placed a call to schedule the delivery which was answered by a LIVE person who had just seen my online request. He said "it sounds like you need the container ASAP so if you would like two of them delivered this afternoon we can do that and deliver the other two the following day". And they ACTUALLY followed through on their promise. They were kind, respectful, honest and prompt. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND UNITS located in Kent, WA.

Our bookshelves are missing the removable shelves, and they are nowhere to be found. When I contacted the owner, he gave me excuses and said the furniture just needed to be wiped down, which was not true. He then gave us lip service and said don't worry, I will take care of you guys... only to be completely silent and unresponsive. If you care about your house items, DO NOT hire these people. They don't care about your stuff, and they charge you an arm and a leg. Stay clear!!!!!!

There is no other surveillance for the outside storage areas. In 2022 the catalytic converter was stolen of our motorhome. The people working the facility really did not care. We just went to get the RV in May of 2023 and discovered that someone had jimmied the back emergency window and had been sleeping in out motorhome! Again, the facility personnel did not care. If you are looking for secure outside storage for your RV, boat or other item this is not the place! Spend a little more money and go elsewhere.

Despite not being temperature controlled, the smaller units are kept quite dry. I had no problems, no moisture issues, no moss, no algae or any other nightmare that could crop up in North-West storage facilities. I kept the usual holiday items, an old comic collection and some other items here. Never had a problem with condensation in the bags, soaking of boxes or any other damage. Overall a perfectly safe and un-disturbed tenancy for my stuff.

I needed the space to return my boat for storage and was told they couldn't do anything about it. Very disappointed! I cancelled all my business and went to a competitor. Here is an update - I was contacted by Public Storage to attempt to pay me to remove my review or alternatively change it to 5-stars in exchange for $$$. So disappointing to see businesses operate like this - transparency is obviously not their forte.

Beware of Mileage Overcharges at This U-Haul Location…read more I recently rented a U-Haul from this location and drove less than 20 miles total (verified by my own GPS and route tracking). I returned it without a problem until I saw the charge come through on my credit card which was more than double the estimated cost. When I brought this up, they said it was because the reported mileage was more than 5 times what I actually drive. The staff gave no clear explanation and couldn't help me beyond giving me a 800 number to dispute the charge. Just take care before renting from this business.

The clerk called me and told me I had to return the trailer early because someone booked it after us so we busted our butts to do so, we were going to be 15 minutes late to return it so I called to let them know and the clerk said "oh, well, the people who needed it after you decided to go somewhere else", he didn't call me and let me know nor did he care when I said it would have been nice for him to call me so I didn't have to waste so much gas to get there in time (Driving from Idaho). The clerk didn't apologize for our experience he just acted like he didn't give a care and said "take it up with UHAUL" . The customer service at this place is sorely lacking. We had them move and store our 1bd apartment for several months. There was a lot of initial…read moreconfusion around it, as I think there was some miscommunication, but it eventually got sorted out. They keep your stuff in big wooden boxes in a warehouse thats shared among a few different storage companies. You give them 24 hours notice of when you need access and they meet you there to get it out for you and put it back when youre done. So far, we've found no damage and they've been easy enough to work with after the initial confusion passed. 3 stars because the initial confusion was very stressful.
