My locker got broken into and my lock was cut and stuff stolen. They wouldn't give me any details and just wanted me to buy another lock. Found out later this happens all the time and people can get in through a fire door. Another shady business practice is month after month they raise rates and penalize good renters by constantly raising their rates with no reason besides the greed of it. Look through reviews it is common business practice for these thieves. And it isn't a little. My unit was $90/month when I started renting 6 months ago and each month has gone up and now is $150/month. I wouldn't store anything of value here. Good chance of getting stolen and they can care less. Go somewhere else I am sad to say.

After 12+ years with them they want to charge us a$10 fee for giving them one key and not 2. Our lock had broke years ago so when they replaced it they gave us ONE key. I can't replace something you didn't give me! Just horrible! They used to not raise the rent that often. Now they do every year and it's quite a bit! We went from $300 to $735 in 12 years! I think in the last 4 years it was $400 to $700! Glad we don't have that storage anymore and we will never go back! We have a storage there for my mom but I'm looking to get out! UPDATE! I was quoted an estimated total of $43.07 for a local truck rental, but after returning the truck I was charged $93.34. The charge included 24 miles and 2 gallons of gas, despite only driving 22 miles and returning the truck fueled above the full marker. When I presented my drop-off photos and fuel transaction, instead of simply correcting the bill, they offered a partial correction. They refused to remove the 2-gallon fuel charge and acted like they were doing me a favor only partially overcharging me. If you rent here document everything and do not assume that they will correct the bill willingly.

The staff is nice enough but policy is to NOT inform tenants even when rats are running around in your stuff. I confirmed with another Issaquah location that is their policy. What? Check your stuff if you're there & wear an N95. Worst thing is to sweep any dust... rats carry diseases! Wish they would inform tenants so we can check & replace cardboard with plastic bins etc. or make other choices but to say nothing is horrific. Even according to their policy, public storage would charge me the extra month of Oct, I should still pay at most 6 months. Now things become weird. 1) I got a $1/month promotion at the beginning, but it disappeared. 2) The rate was always $149, but when I moved out, it suddenly raised to $193. So I ended up paying more than than 6 months according to the weird way of calculation. And if I did not get the promotion, I would end up paying over 7 months for 5 months 6 days. I'd avoid public storage as much as possible.

I returned it without a problem until I saw the charge come through on my credit card which was more than double the estimated cost. When I brought this up, they said it was because the reported mileage was more than 5 times what I actually drive. The staff gave no clear explanation and couldn't help me beyond giving me a 800 number to dispute the charge. Just take care before renting from this business.

The clerk called me and told me I had to return the trailer early because someone booked it after us so we busted our butts to do so, we were going to be 15 minutes late to return it so I called to let them know and the clerk said "oh, well, the people who needed it after you decided to go somewhere else", he didn't call me and let me know nor did he care when I said it would have been nice for him to call me so I didn't have to waste so much gas to get there in time (Driving from Idaho). The clerk didn't apologize for our experience he just acted like he didn't give a care and said "take it up with UHAUL" . The customer service at this place is sorely lacking. If I could give my experience -5 stars I would.
