Failed Week #2 No one knew how to correctly use the ap. Week #3 Luke said he would help me today, but when I arrived today I found out Luke is no longer employed there. Week #4 "I'll look into this." It's an affordable gym with good parking and friendly staff. Very convenient for DG residents. However lately the quality has diminished. No one seems to care to keep the equipment or bathroom clean. They've let go of staff that worked hard to keep the facilities running smoothly. Towels are starting to look like rags. They've opened the track for free for non-residents and lucky us WE get to pay more. How is that fair?! In fact, since making the track free the quality of the gym has gotten much worse. I mean, If you're not paying for the facility why care right? Super disappointed. Despite multiple attempts to contact the district, they are unresponsive and uncaring. It's worth considering another gym that cares more. But if you're not picky and want low membership fees, give it a shot.

Where do I start?…read more upon initial tour I was kind of impressed, but I hadn't really looked anywhere else (MY MISTAKE!!) and signed up right away. my very first class I went to was called cardio dance. It was on a Saturday and the instructor was Angela. I could barely keep up with the class. It's like she's dancing to herself in the mirror with tons of jumping, and I don't know why people equate jumping with fitness. You can get a workout quite effectively without jumping around anyway she came up to me at the end of the class and told me because we were the same height that I should "look like her" and I was completely offended... not only is that ignorant. It's completely wrong because somebody's bone structure is not the same as somebody else's . Furthermore he should not be insulting somebody that's a paying member that's trying to better themselves. Then I took a pool fitness class. That's right here has to be the worst experience I've ever had in my entire life. On this particular day, one of the instructors I like didn't happen to come, and Terri showed up. I knew I should have left because I had already had issues with her for some reason she does not like me and doesn't try to hide it. You get the people in the pool that stand in the back row and all they do is talk and you can barely hear the music or what the instructor is saying and nobody says anything to them, but the person that's trying to better themselves that has injuries is being yelled at saying I'm "not working hard enough" or "push it harder"... even though I have injuries so on this particular day, I got screamed at in my face in front of a class of people And I was asked why I'm wasting her time and not working hard enough?!? I have an injury yet TERRI told me to push through that so I did and ended up almost five months on bed rest Another instructor tells you a move and stares off into space for about 5 minutes, then repeat. Super fun! Formats aren't followed correctly. You get classes here that cancel with very short (or no notice at all)! when you find an instructor that you like, they end up leaving or have previous commitments. Needless to say I have canceled my membership. I found somewhere that is less expensive that offers more. This place does not have a hot tub. They do not have tanning and they do not have massage chairs. People are not very friendly here and that's not conducive to feeling comfortable. And I have had at least four people tell me they are not comfortable there because they feel like they're constantly being judged so this cannot only be me that fails this way I can go elsewhere and feel totally accepted. No matter my size no matter my injuries and have every amenity that I want and then some . Yesterday when I tried to cancel well, I'm sure you can imagine I was met with more rudeness which only solidified my decision and I had gone back-and-forth with this for five months and there's no point in wasting my money for something I'm not using and I'm not happy with I would just say look around a little more might find something with instructors that actually care if you succeed. Instead of a permanent resolution, the approach has reportedly been temporary suspensions followed by reinstatement--after which similar concerns continue to surface. If accurate, that is not a meaningful safeguard but rather a cycle. When an organization is aware of repeated allegations involving minors and continues to allow the same individual back into that environment, it raises serious questions about judgment, oversight, and priorities. At a minimum, it suggests a failure to put adequate protections in place for staff. This is not about one incident--it is now a repeated pattern with clear evidence that the executive director and board do not care about the safety of the young women they employ. Anyone considering employment here, or parents with kids working here, should be asking very direct questions about how harassment is addressed and what protections actually exist in practice. The parl district's mandated sexual harassment training for their staff while doing nothing to protect them from harassment from their precious paying members. Until there is clear accountability and transparency, this is a concern the community should take seriously.
