My sister recently hosted a birthday party at Get Air, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing due to several issues that need attention. The biggest concern was the temperature in the party room. We had more than 40 guests in the room, and it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. There was only one fan available, and when we asked if another fan could be provided, we were told that the additional fan was reserved for guests using the massage chairs. Given that the party room was packed with over 40 people, it seemed like a much greater need existed there than in the massage chair area. The heat became so unbearable that several guests went to their vehicles to retrieve battery-operated fans just to stay comfortable. One family even left the party early because of the conditions. It was clear that the room's ventilation or air conditioning was not adequate for the number of people using the space. Installing blinds on the large window may help reduce heat from the sun, but the HVAC system should also be evaluated to ensure the room remains comfortable for party guests. Another issue involved cleanliness and customer service. One of our party guests became sick and vomited. When the employee who appeared to be the supervisor on duty was informed, his response was disappointing. He appeared irritated and stated that he had another party to attend to and would get to the cleanup later. This was not an appropriate response to a situation involving guest health and sanitation. Based on this experience, I believe this location would benefit from: Additional staffing to properly support multiple parties at the same time. Improved customer service training for employees. An inspection of the HVAC system in the first party room to address the excessive heat. Additional cooling solutions, such as fans and window blinds, to keep guests comfortable. While the children enjoyed the attractions, the overall party experience was negatively impacted by the uncomfortable conditions and lack of responsive customer service. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements for future guests. They literally don't have enough employees to open the whole facility. The inflatables area (half of the building) are closed because they're required by the state to have attendants at each one. And they can't staff it. That's not to mention the actual conditions of the building. It's a shame, because it's in a great area, with ample opportunity, just needs better management/ownership. But it stays packed on winter weekends, so why change anything. read more

My kids had such a good time the place is a pretty good size. It does get packed at times, I love that they have a small kids area for the little ones. The staff were very friendly. I love the fact that the parents can go by all of the jumping areas to keep an eye on their kids. They should have a rule that parents need to also take their shoes off when walking on any of the areas where the kids jump for sanitation purposes other than that it's an awesome place to take your kids so they have a blast. read more

A solid place for a party! My son got to attend a party here and had a great time. There are plenty of areas to jump and play in and he had a blast. Thankfully, as a party guest our admission was covered, because I know that can get expensive! The staff here was nice, and made the rules clear. Staff are very attentive and sweet, glow night was definitely fun and catering from a known local restaurant was great! I wanted to give 5 stars but owner/management MUST do some minor refresh in party rooms, and hire an actual cleaning staffer for restrooms which looked pretty bad at the end of the right with only 2 staffers trying to manage the whole facility and bday parties. read more

We have two children under the age of 10 and have had many birthday parties at the Get Air in Downers Grove. We always have a great experience with our hosts and our guests always have a great time. I like that the facility is not too big so we can easily spot the party crew but it's not super small where everyone is bumping into each other. We had my son's 4th birthday here yesterday and had a wonderful time. Lela was our host and Mali was the manager on duty. They were both amazing and very attentive/super friendly. I appreciate their level of customer service and care. This is why we continue coming back. Everyone in our party always has a great time. Side note: Not sure if they already have one but Get Air should invest in a good cleaning crew. I'm not saying to add more onto the host or manager's plate. Get Air has all the makings of a really fun experience but fails to deliver where it counts: cleanliness. We attended a party here with a small group of people and, overall, we had a decent time. There is plenty of space and different apparatus to keep people of all skill levels entertained and the party rooms are of ample size. However, the level of attention paid by the staff after entering is nearly non-existent. There is no one walking around to see that people are being safe, tidying up, or monitoring anything. And it shows. The place, overall, is just not clean. And that goes double for the party rooms where the floors feel like they have not been mopped since re-opening from lockdown. I wanted to enjoy this place, especially how close it is to home, but I just didn't feel at ease with it's current physical state. If they could clean up their act... literally.... they would really have a solid spot you could feel comfortable returning to with your family. read more

I hosted a bday party this past weekend and they are just not equipped for birthdays. They were understaffed and had one person working the front desk and running back and forth to deliver food, drinks, etc. I paid for water and they ran out of water! The kids were jumping around and so thirsty so I had to buy water bottles for the party. They brought the pizza in but forgot about the drinks and because they were understaffed it took us about 20 min to receive drinks. Also, I have to point out the lack of cleanliness in the bathrooms. I had my daughters birthday party here this past Sunday. Overall I have no complaints. My party started on time. The kids all had a great time. Our party room was clean. If you are someone who needs to be at a place that enforces masks then this place is not for you. Staff was masked but a lot of the people here were not. There is plenty of space to socially distance. Not sure what their sanitizing is like but they did have hand sanitizer for people to use. Staff was nice. They did their job but were not very attentive. It was ok for me. The pizza they cater is from Rosatis. We had pre ordered 2 pizzas but once there we ordered one more. We received the two but I believe they forgot to order the third one. The attendant did not check on us and when she finally came back we asked about the extra pizza we ordered. She apologized and said that since our party was almost over she would take the third one off the bill. We ended up getting the third pizza for free but at this point the party was over. We got asked if we needed help passing pizza out and I said no. I passed out myself, served the drinks and I cleaned up afterwards. My daughter had a great golden birthday. I can't say I'd return but for a birthday celebration it was fantastic. read more

We came for the first time two weeks ago. The front desk lady was very kind and thoughtful! Loved the set up. Love the different play areas and the front desk girl was very kind as it was our first time and we had lots of questions. My low rating is because we came right when they opened for toddler time and I was shocked at how FILTHY the bathroom was! I won't go into detail about it because it was pretty bad and I don't want to make anyone sick reading this.. I have never been more thankful I was there with a kid in diapers so she wouldn't have to use the bathroom like I did. Also we went to fill my little ones water up and none of the water fountains worked. I might understand by the end of the day things not being completely clean... maybe... but what we encountered was terrible. The floors were also shockingly filthy at opening. Also, I agree with the previous post about lack of attending staff this day. A new parent I didn't know came in and I had to help him figure out what to do because no one was around to help him that morning. We were considering a birthday party here but after seeing how dirty the bathroom, floors and benches were .. especially first thing in the morning I am second guessing. I really want to love this place. Toddler time Is wonderful for littles to have fun without the big kids. Went there for the first time with my children They had a blast and it's a great place for kids to exercise and take their energy out. However my only complaint is the cleanliness. The bathrooms were dirty I didn't want my children using them. They're it's not a lot of sanitizer areas esp in the jump area. I think everyone should Sanitize their hands before entering the jump area esp for the little ones there to avoid spreading germs in there and to be able to come more often not having to worry about bring your child there and getting sick. Overall it is very nice and bright. The music is uplifting and positive for kids to get good vibes. We will be returning but please work on the cleaning. read more

I booked a party erroneously and have tried to cancel since 5 minutes after my booking. I have called three times, emailed customer service four times and have also submitted a question on their website and no one has responded. The first email was sent about a month ago and follow up emails have been sent weekly. This is unacceptable. We came here because of a Groupon. There were signs that said if unvaccinated you must wear a mask, but maybe 10 kids out of 150 had masks on. Not to mention they were coughing and had visible runny noses. No supervision anywhere in the park from employees, the few that were there were all working hard at the front desk. Many kids breaking rules all over the place it was very dangerous. They need more staff and must enforce mask wearing since we know kids under 12 have not been vaccinated. The place was just super dirty with a ton of trash at the front door when you walk in. I took a bath in Purell when I got home and made the kids shower and change their clothes, I should have left, but the kids were so excited to go. Our first time visiting Get Air I bought a Groupon and decided to take my son for his spring break. The place was empty which was good considering the social distancing protocol. Everyone had on mask that was in the facility. The young lady at the front desk was nice and friendly. The facility appeared clean with the exception i think the floors needed mopping since walking in my own sock that were white was not a good idea. Overall my son enjoyed his time jumping but I must say that i was shocked that they were out the required socks so my son had to use his own socks. This place was really fun for my girls ages 2 and 5 years old. Super fun zip line for my 5 year old. There's a climbing jungle gym that keeps littler kids busy and fun. BRING YOUR OTHER specific JUMPING SOCKS AND THEY TRADE YOU FOR FREE! A little pricey by hour. $20 for two kids for only a hour. They also have dipping dots there, which is new. Staff on sight and in the gym to ensure kids are safe and following rules. They will find you after your hour is over. 4 stars due to pricey. read more

This past weekend we held a joint birthday party for my 4 and 6 year old sons at Get Air and had a great experience! When we arrived, the on-site team was already in the private party room cleaning and turning it over from the previous party so we could get in right away. The party host, Liz, was attentive throughout the entire event. She helped me get the room set up with decorations, served pizza / cupcakes and cleared away used cups and plates. The kids had a BALL running around and jumping on the trampolines and it was a convenient set up for both the parents and kids to be able to drop in and out of the private room throughout the party. There was a large beverage refrigerator inside of the room, which was super convenient to keep extra bottled water, juice boxes and soda chilled. Also want to mention how helpful the General Manager, Ally was leading up to the party. She was accommodating and flexible with our arrangements. We will be back! read more

Be careful of being overcharged by Isabella at the front desk. She pretends to not be aware of the 15.00 price for 2 hours to jump (friday night) or 30.00 price for 3 hour (7-10). Until I requested a manager she wanted to charge me 51.09 for 2 kids for two hours. She was relentless about not honoring the correct price. Your kids will be overcharged.
