Coordinating all the drop sites was a little tricky but Darren kept to his quote kept his promises and he made a fantastic trip. We rented the limo for an charity event. they picked us up in a beautiful limo, they caterd to us very nicely. the 5th door was a little broken so we helped the driver with that but other than that it was perfect. our driver was super courteous and professional he dealt with all our crazy selves. the ride back our party grew to more people and they accommodated us with a bigger vehicle! it was amazing we had so much fun the driver as nice and tolerant, awesome with our crazy drunkness. we had a wonderful experience. If I could give this company a -5 I would. The drivers do not care about your needs or preferences. We paid 700++ for a H2 limo and our driver's name was Gary. Gary did not take care of us at all. When we called him to pick us up, he told us multiple time that it would be over 30 minutes to pick us up!!!. If I am paying over $700 I expect to be picked up when i need to be picked up. Not only did he not pick us up, he got mad at us when we asked him to pick us up and take us to another location. This was the worst experience that we have ever had using a limo service. The driver was there well ahead of our departure time and was friendly and polite. Since we weren't due to leave for a few minutes, I asked the driver if he would mind if my children looked inside the limo. They were so excited about my ride to the airport! I used them for my wedding weekend on two nights. They were completely disorganized and despite several calls with clear, easy instructions they still ended up at the wrong pick up location. On the first night guests told me the driver made rude comments to the guests about the multiple pick up addresses, there were only 4. The day of my wedding I cut out one of the four pick up locations trying to make it easier. I literally hired a second company to help. This gave the driver 40minutes extra to get all of the guests to the wedding on time. I built in double the drive time and 15 minutes for guests to get on the bus at each location. They were still 25 minutes late. My guests also had to give instructions on where the pick up locations were dispite giving this information to the company literally 5-7 times. My wedding planner also told me she had two separate horrible experiences in the previous week with this company. After the reception we had them take us to Golden (15 min away from our venue) it took the driver over 40 min and a friend following in a car said he missed at least two turns. This then caused us to go over in time we had paid for and was charged for this extra time when the driver took the wrong way. I was very disappointed in the overall experience and will not ever use them again nor will I recommend them. read more

Worst limo experience ever, completely pathetic Limo showed up 1:15 late to take us to a concert. Air conditioning did not work and only two speakers worked on the radio. The driver, in the midst of bragging about how he has an engineering degree, knew nothing about how to work the stereo and couldn't figure it out. Apparently one of their other limos had broken down and instead of telling us it broke down and letting us figure out our own ride they decided to share another limo that someone else had rented. Needless to say neither us or the other group received an exclusive limo service as in the agreement. if this wasn't bad enough they proceeded to leave us stranded at Red Rocks, giving the other group a ride back and not us. They kept all of the alcohol and other items left in the limo and were not returned. When we called to ask them where our ride was at the end of the show they said they would not be sending us a ride because someone was physical with the driver. This was a complete lie which they tried to use to save them from giving us a refund. They showed up late, took our money and never cared about us again. Do not use this company!  If you have any issues they will not refund or attempt to fix your problem.   You will get the run around.  We ordered a 8 passenger limo.  As a previous Limo driver for A ADVANTAGE LIMOUSINE(Very reputable company and would recommend over sunset) We had to show up an hour and a half early to ice down the limo and make sure everything worked, heat/ ac, music, lights ect.  When this Limo pulled up the driver had nothing but ice in the cooler.  He never tested anything to be sure we would be comfortable.   It was New Years Eve 2021, yes that recent, It was cold and snowing and this Limo had no heat, the door to let in passengers was broken,  and hit one of our guest in the head because the paneling was so bad.  One speaker worked for music.  Since it is too late of coarse to change dinner plans ect.  The Limo driver(Conrad) stated he had no Idea this limo was this bad and to call the company in the morning and they should reimburse us some of the 1000.00 dollars charged.  My guest froze and they will all leave a review on this company and there personal experience.   The next morning we called Sunset and at first they understood and were going to have a manager call us as soon as possible.   Three days went by and I called again.  They said they were sorry for the delay but it has to go through some channels.  I patiently responded OK.  Another week went by my Wife called them.  They said a Manager will be calling and they would call the next day  to be sure this happened.  Another week went by my wife calls them this morning(1/21/2022 and some a__hole answers the phone and ask us why did we stay in the limo that night?  As if we had another choice, they took our money 3 days prior versus on arrival.  I would have never paid a 1000 dollars for this.  Then this customer service agent says he is going to call the police because my wife is harassing them.  Wow not only did you take our money,  you talk shit, not only to a woman that paid for a vehicle  but my WIFE!  There are to many other companies out there I would not use this one NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL.  This is not over and I am going to continue to FIGHT or so call harass until they fix there mistake.  I did my part in this agreement they did not meet theirs! read more

I have had several bad experiences with limo companies and this was NOT one of them. Zoli is a driver that connected me to Fadra and I'm sure he would be a great driver, but wasn't available for the smaller limo we needed on my night. We had 11 of us in a 13 passenger BMW stretch and fit perfectly. I wouldn't recommend having the amount of adults that they car says is the max or you'll be really crowded. The driver showed up on time and gave our kids a 15 minute joy ride around the neighborhood, just as we asked. The limo was stocked with the champagne and vodka just like we asked. The limo was ready when we left the restaurant, just like we asked. They really did everything we asked and couldn't have been more pleased. read more

We had a big crew go to a show at redrocks last night, and booked a party bus. Our driver was extremely rude and unpleasant. For a $600 payment, we expected a lot better service. One, the aux cord didn't work and he said it was our responsibility to bring our own. Huh? So we had to listen to the radio all the way there. Not cool for a bunch of music lovers. Secondly, we got to redrocks and it was like this guy had never driven up there. He goes up to the lot WAY too fast and slammed on the breaks HARD. I had a very UNPROFESSIONAL experience with Sunset Limo Service. 1st red flag, they were slow to respond to emails. I was actually worried that I didn't have my reservation confirmed because I never got a call back or email confirmation. I finally called days before to verify. I then paid in full, including tip! First, they were 5 minutes late, not a big deal but then they tried to deny it saying they were 15 minutes early when I have a video of them pulling up 5 minutes late. When they got there the air conditioning and stereo system were not working but the driver never told us. He spent 20 minutes trying to work on it and then just gave up and we left. 5 minutes into the ride we asked him about the Bluetooth and air conditioning. He just ignored us as he messed with controls in the front. We finally pulled over before we even got to the next stop, again trying to at least fix the air conditioning. With no luck and already running late for our 1st stop which was to pick up our last guest, we left. I had to demand that the driver roll his window down so we could get air flow, because he literally ignored every request and question. I called the office and expressed my dissatisfaction and disappointment, as this was for my daughter's 17th birthday. All she told me is that she would "fix this". When I asked her how? She responded with... I don't know but I'm working on it. After stopping at the pick up site and looking at the air conditioning system we found out it was an electrical issue and our driver called for a replacement. He told us it was coming to the pick up destination. We waited 20 minutes and then had to leave without the replacement, as we had tickets that we were now running 30 minutes late for. When we got to the destination, which was an UNAIRCONDITIONED hour and 15 minute drive, the replacement vehicle arrived. We moved our stuff to the new vehicle, which had a different seating configuration and left us less seating so one of us had to sit on the cup holders. I did agree that the replacement vehicle was a nice effort. I waited a couple of days to hear from the company to see what they were going to do about the issues we had and the manager hadn't even been informed! After informing of the issues, he literally only offered me a discount on my next ride!!!! WTH? I asked for a partial refund, explaining to him that I could have Lyfted, with air conditioning for less and that's basically what we got... An unairconditioned, SILENT ride to our destination a little over an hour away. He still only offered a $150 refund and 50% discount on next ride, stating "Mistakes happen"! BTW, I STILL HAVEN'T received ANY kind of reimbursement and this ride way June 9th! Completely unprofessional to even take a vehicle out without checking all the amenities! On Sunday June 10th the temperature was 97 degrees when the 3 limos showed up to take the wedding party and guests to the venue. 2 of the limos had no working AC (1 had the vents duct taped to prevent hot air from coming in). The other's AC only worked in the front and not in back with passengers. Everyone, including the bride who had her hair and make up previously done, arrived hot and sweaty. My 85 yr old mother-in-law had to be rushed into the venue's AC upon arrival. Everyone had a horrible experience. I spoke to one of the drivers and he documented my concerns and said a "supervisor" would call the next day but nobody did. So I called and was told the "owner" was out and would call me tomorrow...I am still waiting. It is also important to note they charged my credit card INCLUDING a 20% gratuity, 4 days PRIOR to using the service!! I would recommend NEVER using this company for any important event. read more

We used Sunset for a large bus/shuttle for our wedding. The bus was nice, but the service was terrible. The driver dropped our guests in a location where they had to walk the rest of the way to the venue not knowing where they are supposed to go, despite me talking to Sunset staff 3 times the week prior to the wedding to ensure they would be dropped in the correct location. The driver was nowhere to be found when it was time to take our guests home. The bus was there, but no driver. This caused the second drop off to be delayed, which included the wedding party! To top it all off, the driver asked me (the bride) for a signature for the bill AS I AM ABOUT TO WALK DOWN THE AISLE!!! I contacted management about my complaints the next day and was completely blown off. I finally got a response after a week and the response was basically a defense of the driver's judgement. I was told that the wedding coordinator told him to find me to get a signature. I don't care who told him to find me, it is never ok to interrupt a bride for a signature when she is about to walk down the aisle! Especially since he was going to be there all night. Management did nothing to resolve the issue. We used 2 other limo services for rehearsal dinner for both wedding parties and had no issues at all. Seems that the subpar service is specific to this business. Will never use them again. Wish I would have read the yelp reviews first. Their reviews on Google are misleading. read more

The driver kicked them out of the car (which had a broken door) at the restaurant, left the area, Fran had to call the driver to find the car. The driver made them clean out the car, tried to leave early, threw out a bag of supplies that we had arranged to pick up at the school. Then I tried calling all day Sunday, finally wrote an email detailing everything that had happened and told them they needed to do something to rectify the situation. When I never heard back, I finally wrote a review on google, detailing everything that happened. So they called this morning screaming at me, telling me if I posted reviews they would call the school, and write everywhere stuff about me! Do not book with them. They will leave you hanging! My wedding was on 8/18/12. Let's just say they NEVER showed up or had the courtesy to call us! The bridal party did not have a ride to the reception because of Sunset Limo!!!!! My sister booked the party bus as a gift and received confirmation from them THREE times that it was booked. My sister called them 30 minutes before the ceremony was over to see where they were at (as they should already be outside.) They indicated that there was NOTHING booked and hung up on her. She attempted to contact them several times after that and no help. The following Tuesday comes along and my sister is dealing this his horrible company. Once again this company tells her that there's no confirmation. So she forwards them a confirmation from the manager indicating that everything was booked and requested for a manager to contact her back. I booked Sunset Limousine for my wedding. The limo was requested to bring my wedding party from my Downtown loft to DIA for my destination wedding and the following events will keep me from ever using their service again: -The driver showed up at 6:30 a.m. and started calling me repeatedly when the service was booked for 7:30 a.m. When I asked the driver to return at 7:30 a.m. he did so. -The limo did not start and required a jump so the driver began asking my wedding party for jumper cables. -The delay from this event caused me and my wedding party to almost miss our flight to my wedding. Our group was sprinting through DIA and made it to the plane right before the doors closed. This is not the way I imagined I would start off my wedding celebration and I definitely expected more from this luxury service. -When I called to ask the customer service team what they could do to make the situation right, it took more than a month to get in touch with the decision maker, who ended up being the owner. -The owner yelled at me over the phone and told me that he wanted to know what I thought I deserved as a customer since the delay in service provided wasn't significant to him. After letting him know that I was a working professional and didn't have time to negotiate a refund as a customer, his exact words were, "you say you are a working professional but what is it that you even do?" His aggressive tone and demeaning conversation was appalling. -When I mentioned that I would not continue to discuss this with him and instead would leave online reviews of my experience, he argued that if I attempted to do this he would post all of the timelines of delays in service. While this was only a 12 minute delay in service to him, my wedding party ended up sprinting through the airport to make our flight. As someone who advocates for incredible customer service across my organization, it is always interesting to see a company provide such negative customer service- especially from the top of the organization. While the delay in Sunset's service caused me to almost miss the overseas flight to my wedding and start my trip off in chaos, this wasn't significant to the owner nor did I "deserve" anything to make the situation right. Even so, the owner's reaction was more significant than the actual delay to me and I would recommend looking at other limo services in Denver before booking a limo with Sunset. read more

Where do I even start. Bus came 6 hours late. It was confirmed to be at the resort at 10:30 and they came at 4:30. FOUR FREAKING THIRTY. It didn't end there however. The bus was the wrong one we ordered. As we were sitting there they asked for a credit card in order to start driving. When we refused because they had charged us 3,000 dollars without us knowing on the way there, they refused to drive us. They also refused to drive us until we took down our yelp reviews. If I could give zero stars, I would. I used Sunset for my wedding, and I would NOT recommend them to anyone. We reserved a limo through Sunset for three hours for our wedding day, and specifically booked a towncar limo to go with our black-tie vintage-themed wedding downtown. When the limo pulled up to pick up my husband and the guys, the towncar was not what arrived. Instead, they "upgraded" us to a Hummer limo without even consulting us first. If we had wanted a Hummer, we would've booked one. The hotel where we held our reception and got ready was only a few blocks from the church where our ceremony was, but somehow the limo driver completely failed to look up directions or use Google maps because my husband and the groomsmen all ended up on a 30 minute limo ride around Denver instead of getting to the church for pictures on time. My husband actually had to tell the limo driver how to get to the church once they realized they'd been in the limo far longer than they should've been. Because of the groom's 30 minute limo ride, the car now became late for picking up our flower girls, our parents, our bridesmaids, and THE BRIDE. Our wedding ceremony was to start at 6pm, with the limo picking up the other bridal party members and shuttling them over to the church in 10-15 minute intervals. As I came down the elevator at 5:45, I noticed that all of my bridesmaids were still standing in the lobby with no limo to be found. Because the driver didn't care to look up the route to our church ahead of time, all of the bridal party ended up being late to our own show. As the bride, I didn't arrive at the church until almost 6:30, AND because he hadn't looked up the route, the bridesmaids and I were also dropped off 2 blocks from the church. Normally, I wouldn't mind walking... but if I had wanted to walk, I wouldn't have paid for a limo. After the wedding, the bridal party took photos at the church and went outside to take the limo back to the reception... except the limo was nowhere to be found. While the bridal party WALKED back to our reception, my husband and I stayed back to take pictures just the two of us before taking our separate car (rented from Ambassador Limos, who was AMAZING to deal with). 20 minutes later, the limo driver showed up to take the bridal party to the hotel but everyone was already at the reception by then. We watched, laughing hysterically, as this clueless limo driver went the WRONG WAY down California St. and then made what was probably a 15-point turn in the middle of downtown Denver to get the car going the right direction. On top of all of this, the air conditioner in the limo wasn't working, so on a 90 degree day in the middle of August, the shared limo in the sweltering heat made for an even more unpleasant experience. After our wedding, we contacted Sunset to address these issues. My father-in-law called initially and was very pleasant in trying to help them see what issues came up. The manager was rude and hardly took the time to talk to him, so my husband ended up calling himself. It took multiple phone calls and a threat to take them to small claims court before somebody would actually speak to my husband. When they did speak, the manager basically made excuses for himself, didn't apologize, and offered us a free limo ride Monday-Thursday for 2 hours. Needless to say, we've never used it out of sheer disinterest in dealing with this company ever again. The service was terrible, our driver made no effort to apologize or redeem himself for what was his mistake, and they made no effort to consult with us, their customer, prior to making decisions about what vehicle we would get. If you are having an event and looking for a company that's reliable and dependable, this is not the one you want. I feel like we got ripped off and that this added unnecessary stress to my wedding day that having the transportation was supposed to alleviate in the first place. read more

The driver took the slow way and drove in a jerky fashion which made people spill drinks all over themselves. We were late to the airport and almost missed the flight. At first I was dealing with one guy, but then suddenly, a week before the wedding, I had multiple calls from multiple people, all asking to "confirm" the reservation. Our company rented a bus from Sunset, as we had done several times before, for a member event. (I personally have rented transportation for close to 30 years and never had an experience like this.) Our limo bus blew a heater hose during the trip to Winter Park for snowmobiling. We had to wait at a truck stop while the driver tried to repair and fix the situation. We waited between 2-3 hours for another bus to come up (according to Google maps, their office in Westminster was just 45 minutes away). Once the bus arrived, our group still wanted to go to Winter Park for snowmobiling. We did arrive at Winter Park 3 hours after our initial estimated time of arrival and took a shortened trip. Afterwards, our group was hungry and we stopped for dinner. I had to buy the group dinner which was not planned. Here is the major problem. When I contacted the company about doing something to make this right for my group (they were expecting some sort of refund) the company took the stance of "we gave you the extra hours for FREE). I explained we didn't want extra hours, we wanted a bus in good condition and free from defects and to have our trip go as planned. They (Kevin) were / are unwilling to refund any money ($1125) from that day. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a company like this. I booked both shuttles through Rich, who was personable and friendly. The prices were by far cheaper than other quotes we received. Both shuttles were on time and clean. Denise was one of the drivers for the smaller shuttle for the wedding party and she was fantastic and got us to our destinations safely and on time (and even made last minute stops we requested). Bus was nice, driver "Gary" was a horrible. Apparently he felt "disrespected" because we got a bit delayed on our final pick up time. Even though we had another 50 minutes before we were scheduled to arrive at our final destination he forced us to pay him more money then was agreed upon in the contract and would not leave until he had another $100. Keep in mind we planned on tipping him at the end of the night...he finally started driving and we arrived to our destination 10 minutes early!!!! He didn't offer us the money back obviously, and if he would have we honestly wouldn't have tipped him because he was rude as hell all night and super confrontational. Avoid this company at all costs, much better limo/bus options in the metro area. read more

Sunset Limo has played a big part in my daughters battle with Cancer this year. My 14 year old has enjoyed two occasions where we were able to take her out and have an evening to celebrate two different milestones during her treatment. On both occasions we had great drivers who were kind and attentive to her unique needs. They helped with her wheelchair and were on time for pick up to and from our destination.
