my son recently had a 21st birthday, and I asked for a safe vehicle to take he and 5-6 fiends to Arapahoe Basin. The passenger van was so comfortable, and has seatbelts for bad weather. Juan was a careful driver, even in the snow. He was on time, van was clean and Juan was very pleasant to myself and my son and friends. Although the ride itself was okay, the communication from the company was lax and unprofessional and resulted in them overcharging our group following the full payment for service. Some issues included rude interactions with customer service; having our ride cancelled before the trip because we didn't pay early (not made clear and very stressful), upon calling them about this the response was rude and unprofessional, and furthermore a bus driver gave unauthorized advice related to the policy of the ride. We were told we could stay an hour later at our event if we tipped well despite the tip for the driver already being present in the original payment. We were charged with a $300 dollar fee due to this advice, and upon calling the company to explain, we were told that the bus driving did not have the authority to make this call and were charged regardless. It seems not only unprofessional but as though the bus driver took advantage of the situation in order to financially benefit themselves despite the backlash his customers would receive. The driver Trevor was great even though we called him the wrong name the entire time... so sorry about that! The problem was that the business charged us an extra $600 AFTER the fact. There was a crash on the highway and the show was delayed due to a storm. We did arrive back at the drop off location almost 2 hours later than expected but this was not our fault in the slightest. **Beware** Booked two trips with Sunset Limo. Trip 1 Broken Limo This Limo was in very poor condition - the side door didn't open, so when we got to the venue my bridesmaids and I were stuck inside the car. The driver came in through the rear door, stepped on my wedding gown, and was slamming on the side door. He couldn't get it to open. The blue tooth wouldn't connect - so we didn't have any music. The a/c didn't blow very cold air - just cool-ish air - so we were hot in our gowns and make up. The car smelled like smoke. The bill for this limo rental was 395 dollars. Definitely not worth it. I am asking for a partial refund. Trip 2 No Show Limo This was supposed to be the getaway car. IT NEVER SHOWED UP! How do you not pick up the BRIDE AND GROOM?! Ridiculous! We frantically called Sunset Limo and Judy asked us to hang up and "wait" while she looked into it. Dude, Judy, it's our wedding day - we need to get to our wedding reception we can't just hold on and wait. We ended up being late to our own reception, and had to catch a ride with our photographer. About an hour after the limo was supposed to show up, I got a text saying due to "Driver issues" this trip was cancelled. Very unprofessional. This trip has been refunded. Post-wedding, I have called in 3 times during business hours, and Judy has left this same message for the manager, but I have yet to receive a response. Talk about poor customer service. We hired sunset for a day of bridal dress shopping and had one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a limousine company. Our driver never showed up, which we called about 10 minutes after they were supposed to be there and were lied to multiple times that "Mike was on his way". A different driver showed up to the first bridal salon (after we had to drive, find, and pay for parking). Midday, the drivers switched. We were dropped off blocks away from our location and had to walk in freezing weather to where we were going. Every time we got in the limo no heat was running so it was very cold and not enjoyable. I had reviewed the itinerary they confirmed with me and send to the driver multiple times and they still tried to take us to the wrong address. I reached out to management after our experience, and have been ignored since. 0/5 stars, would NOT recommend using this company if you want to get somewhere on time and in style. We used Sunset Luxury Limousines for transportation for our wedding and they did a wonderful job! We contracted for two luxury buses with seating for 55 and one Escalade for the bride. Darren was super easy to work with to set things up and the drivers were amazing. The feedback from our guests was the buses was super nice and the drivers made sure they were dropped at their hotels which was important to us due to the late night and most of our guests being from out of town. If you are looking to save a buck, this is NOT your transportation company. If you are looking for a transportation company that has extremely nice equipment operated by professionals and will go the extra mile, this IS the only place you need to call. read more

It was a tough decision to decide which limo company to go with for a successful bachelor party (13 of us) in Denver, especially with some extreme reviews here on Yelp, but I'm very glad I went with Sunset. We used them for two trips, one to the mountains for some white water rafting and one for a Red Rocks concert. Both drivers drove very well, which is greatly appreciated, especially since my brother suffers from motion sickness frequently. Had the ride been jerky or aggressive it could have been bad news for him. Both drivers did a great job. I want to make a special note about Michael who took us from Denver to our white water rafting destination in Idaho Springs. Michael had the best vibe, was a great driver and just a generally cool guy. He also went above and beyond by picking up some beers for us while we were rafting on the river. Again, we had a great time and both trips were great. The vehicles were brand new, beautiful and had great amenities including CRAZY good sound systems. I Would NEVER recommend this company. Clearly I'm not alone here. On my wedding day they were 1 hour late to pick us up... the BRIDE AND GROOM. However, they picked up our guests on time but not us. They had no back up plan for the delay. This COMPLETELY through of our entire wedding. We lost an hour and didn't have proper time at our wedding which is invaluable. Overall super satisfied with my experience. I've used many party bus services and never have my group and I been so satisfied with our ride. Our bus driver was Adan and was very compliant, easy going, and personable. He never lost his cool and made the ride go smoothly. Lots of gems here, but stick to the end to hear the real kicker (and why you should also avoid Sunset Limos). First, the driver was late picking us up, but we're an understanding group so whatever. Second, the limo broke down two blocks from the pickup spot. Stuff happens, I guess, so we continued to be okay with it. However, it did take quite a while for them to get another party bus to us (about 45 minutes) while we stood on the side of the road. But here's where it gets interesting. We drive to the venue for the evening (it was a strip club, it was a bachelor party, don't judge), and the driver tells us he's going to join us inside. Cool! We didn't see him inside, but I didn't think much of it. When it comes time to leave, we get outside and realize... hmmmm... no driver. In fact, no party bus either. We called and called and got voicemail after voicemail. Eventually, some other kind soul was nice enough to give the 15 of us a ride in his party bus (thankfully folks in Denver are nice) so we managed to get home. However, the drinks we brought on the party bus, the things that were left in it (bags, jackets, etc.) all went missing and have yet to be returned. In fact, when calling to complain and argue a refund, the company refused to work with us in any way. So, in short, if you want to end up stranded (possibly multiple times), and want your stuff stolen and some pretty terrible customer service to follow, then Sunset Limos is right up your alley :) read more

I don't want to waste a lot of my time writing this review, so here's my experience in a nut shell.. Used them for our wedding. We wanted to transport our entire wedding party by party bus from hotel to church then back. It was late July, and there was NO A/C!!! The driver just gave us a shrug and said that it was working, but it didn't work as well when we were stopped at stoplights.. Really?? When he went to turn up the A/C, after we insisted, it blasted HOT air. The sound system was a wreck too. We made the best of it, but were really disappointed by this company. This company is busted. Response to Sunset Luxury Limo: I won't even address the "sorry about the A/C going out, but it IS the summer" response from this limo company. I will address the issue regarding our direct contribution to the company's poor sound system. No matter how low or high the sound system was set, the music rattled and was static. When we addressed this with the drive he simply shrugged and told us it must be broken. He could have cared less. We ended up just telling him to turn the thing off. Like I said in my previous post though, it was such a happy day that we just let it roll off our backs. It just wasn't worth it to us to ruin our great day. I I scheduled and paid in advance a limo for my daughters wedding It was scheduled for 8 pm at about 7:30 near the end of the wedding we talked to wedding planner about maybe getting the limo to come a little earlier. They said my daughter wasn't even scheduled At that point we called an Uber which came at eight. There was someone waiting for the hotel shuttle when the limo showed up at 8:30. The driver said it was paid for so he might as well get in and enjoy. My daughters wedding was a limo short so I expected to be reimbursed The driver should not have given a ride to whoever... I did not pay for that. He should have checked with his boss if that was ok. Now I've been trying to call this company and I do talk to someone but they say they will need to talk to the superior and have him call me back. That hasn't happened for 3 phone calls so far. They did not show up! It was awful. I booked weeks in advance, prepaid, and even got email confirmations, including one the day before. I booked the limo for my daughter's 13th birthday party. The limo was supposed to pick us up from the hotel and take us to breakfast and then drop all the girls off at their homes. When they didn't show up on time, we called all the numbers we could find associated with Sunset Limo, emailed all emails, even sent a FaceBook message trying to find out where they were, and after waiting for 30 minutes, I had to have my mother come pick up some of the girls because they wouldn't all fit in my car. My daughter was devastated and I was so embarrassed. Someone from Sunset called me 40 minutes after the scheduled pickup time, and he was not understanding why I was so upset (thankfully I had young girls in my car so he didn't hear how I was really feeling). He asked if I wanted the limo to be there in 45 minutes, which was nowhere acceptable as we were already heading to our breakfast and the girls had set times to be home. TO MAKE IT WORSE, they did the right thing by offering another free limo date of our choice, and when we went to take them up on this offer, they would not return our calls and we've never been able to get them to contact us back. I am just glad I didn't use them for a wedding or prom, that would have been horrible! What good is a limo company if they don't show up for your booked limo time. :( read more

Stopped by the business prior to the trip to have a look & talked to staff. Seemed nice enough. The Porche was on time but the AC did not work. The driver called her dispatch for a replacement vehicle. They did not have one. We had no choice but to go. 12 miles of the trip were dirt road (SLL knew this). We sweltered in 90 degree heat & dust. $986.83 billed to my cc. I've called SSL & e-mailed 'Keven' (twice) as 'Amanda' suggested. Totally unresponsive. Do yourself a favor. Spread the word. Party bus was delivered to us with a broken AC in summer with no way to open the windows. There was no way we could continue to our destination, stopped and stood on the side of the road for 35 mins waiting on another vehicle. The driver had to know the AC was broken since he sat in the bus for at least 10 mins waiting on us to come out for loading. ZERO - This company is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. We contracted them to go up to Blackhawk. The ride there was great. BUT they stranded us for 3 hours. They were supposed to pick us up at midnight and came just before 3AM. When they got there the party bus was replaced with 2 limos. The full cooler of assorted alcoholic beverages was completely emptied out and was replaced with chunks of vomit. The sweat shirts that were in there were missing and never returned. I spoke with Mike and Darren at Sunset and was not afforded an apology, an explanation or any alternative resolution. The conversation that I had with the owner was combative and he was more than disrespectful. I was not looking for anything other than an explanation, my sweat shirt and to make sure that they gave some consideration back to the party who put it on her card as a token of accountability. Instead, I was called names and treated as I had no right to discuss the matter with them. I truly can't believe they treat people this way and their lack of professionalism, communication and ethical behavior starts from the top and trickles down from there. They listed on their website that they have an A+ rating with the BBB. Not only did they have a failing grade with the BBB but they have been removed all together. When I confronted the owner of the company he stated that "that happened just last week and it was due to complaints of people like you" People like me - people who were stranded, treated poorly and stolen from. I received a quote from Sunset Limo from Darren. I called a couple of days later and confirmed the reservation with Neil. He also took the $50 deposit at the time of the call. When the date came, I had 7 kids at my house eagerly awaiting the limo for a ride-around birthday party. When the limo didn't arrive, I called and spoke to Neil who denied the existence of my reservation and was unable to get a limo to me. I had to stall for more than an hour while another limo service provided a car for me. I am still working through the process to get my deposit returned. If you are planning a big event, wedding, prom, anything that requires a limo service I would never recommend this service. read more

Our experience with Sunset Limo was very disappointing. Sunset limo must have a fairly disorganized reservation system. Couple that with a lack of caring if they let you down or not results, in dissatisfied customers. I contacted Sunset on July 17 and 18 via telephone, using their web based reservations system and emails with two people in their office. I was told that I had a reservation for a car to take my wife & me to DIA on the morning of July 20 to start our anniversary honeymoon with a pickup from DIA 10 days later. At 10 minutes after the scheduled time on July 20 I called Sunset to inquire about our limo. Imagine my surprise when I was told that there was no reservation for me. The person at Sunset sounded like I had interrupted him, he was quick to get me off of the phone (didn't even say 'goodbye' or offer to send a car) and get on with his life. Luckily we had scheduled plenty of time so we were able to get to DIA with our own vehicle to make our flight, but imagine if this was for a wedding or prom date! From our experience, I can surmise that Sunset will likely let you down. If you have an important occasion and no backup plan, you likely want to avoid scheduling with Sunset Limo; they sure let us down. read more
