Love it here!!!!!! We come here often. We have been with a group, we have met another couple there, and also go by ourselves. This past Saturday it was packed, but the waitresses were so ATTENTIVE and so nice!!!! My favorite food is the pretzels and beer cheese dip, and also the Gerber sandwich with the AWESOME mustard. The sunsets are AMAZING to see from the outside patio. I also had my sisters shower here and had the back space which was PERFECT!!!! The girls who wait on the tables are just wonderful! Always checking to make sure were all good. There will be quite a few different waitresses (we were told they all share tables) coming to your table, but ALL are so wonderful on making sure all is always good. I would recommend this to have a nice evening, enjoying the sunset, having some light food. read more

Great addition to Columbia! This cute little bar on the outskirts of town was a nice upgrade to the local taverns. They had an impressive craft beer list including drafts and cans. I tried a nice new local beer in addition to one of my go to favorites. They also make many different types of sangria. The bartender gave us a sip of the orange spice after asked about it - yum! The service from the bartender was great - she was friendly and joked around with our group a bit. The staff was experimenting with their Christmas cocktail menu at the time - they had some fun and creative looking drinks. Love that this place is giving a little more pizazz to Columbia. read more

Best place around for outdoor lovers and good company. Extremely welcoming management. They are just so kind here. The old architecture of this place is visually appealing from the outside and in! The inside near the bar(which is always tended to with great skill and expertise) has a beautiful large arched brickwork window that you can gaze through at your leisure. They also have several TV's for you to enjoy as well. This place has Toasted Ravioli's.™ Need I say more? Great place fantastically wonderous atmosphere, really can't recommend it enough. read more

I didn't have a good experience here and I don't recommend coming here. This past weekend was my birthday and I wanted to rent out the outside bubble for this. They told me that there would be service out there and I was told it sat around 7-8 people. I initially rented it from 7-10pm. They sent me an invoice, but then quickly changed it and told me that they only had it available from 7:30-10pm. They resent me the invoice with the adjusted price, which was great. I paid it and never even opened the first invoice that was sent. When I got there at my time, it was a great start; the waitress came out very often to check on us to get drinks and food. It was little cold since the heater in the bubble didn't work very well. I had a few more friends arrive and easily fit 10 people in the bubble. A short time later, I had a woman rudely tell us that it was clearly stated on my invoice that only 8 people were allowed in the bubble. I never saw this, and it definitely wasn't mentioned to me in my email exchanges. We had half my group move inside, and I asked about it as I wasn't told this. I was told that it was on my invoice, which I pulled up. This small font wasn't on the second, corrected, invoice that I paid. It was located on the first invoice, which I didn't even open since it was wrong. After asking about this, I still had 1.5 hours left of reserved time in the bubble. Once I went back out, our waitress came back to us with our checks and had closed our tabs. We didn't see anyone else to serve us after that. After having an hour of no service, the rest of my group moved inside, where we also were not served. I had hoped for a great night to celebrate my birthday here, but instead was ignored and didn't even get more than a couple drinks the whole night. I will not be coming back here. read more

Location, location, location! The perfect place for a snack outside with a fresh breeze and a nice view. I have been here twice and both times I had a great time with staff that is very friendly and service oriented. The sandwiches are good, tasty, but their presentation is just a bit dull, not very appealing to the eye. Both times we had the chicken-cranberry salad sandwich, because their filling is delicious. Try it!! This time I added the chicken parmesan sandwich, and I was a bit disappointed, expecting a big chunk of chicken in the middle with the Italian tomato sauce, melted cheese and all that, and it was served with shredded chicken. Not my favorite! My mistake, the menu never said anything about the full breaded deep-fried breast that I was expecting. We usually go with the bike, so we do not drink alcohol, but the drinks look great. I hope they taste as they look because I am definitely coming back to this place and try them! :) read more

A very cute and scenic small bar. It has the charm of a rustic winery right in the backyard of a small town. The drinks are great, staff is wonderful, and the vibes are immaculate. Aug 18 2023. three of us arrived at 6:45 and were lucky to find a table outside with a great sunset view. Wait person came to our table empty handed and asked what we would like to order? We asked if they had any menus, as this was our first time at Sunset Overlook. She returned shortly with one food menu at that time my wife ordered a glass of red blend wine and said any red blend would be fine. I asked if there was a drink menu as there were no wines/beers listed on the single food menu she had brought us. She replied no they didn't have any drink menus and left to get the glass of blend. She returned shortly with the red blend and a drink menu, I looked at it a quickly ordered a bottle of Chardonnay (mid priced) and the waitperson said "ok". Seemed like everything was fine at that point, 45 min later still no wine, no return visit by any staff. Other nearby tables who were in the middle of eating and others trying to check out were all left without service for over 30min. At that point I went and found a staff member paid for the glass of wine and left. VERY POOR SERVICE read more

What a great little unknown jewel! Was there for an airplane event down the road and stopped for breakfast and the Bloody Mary bar. The bartender (Mandy) was friendly with me and all customers that walked through the door. The biscuits and gravy were to die for. First visit on 6/21/18. First impression, nice location and the view from the front patio was far better than I expected. The inside seemed small but they do have a large patio in the back. Bartender was nice and on the money. Decided to have a seat out in the front to watch the sun rays break thru the rainclouds. After sometime I asked a waitress for a menu. She returned with them but never came back to take our order. I had to go inside and find a waitress to place our food order. Now they don't have a big selection and I think it's because this place is new. I base my rating on the service. Food plays an important role but service is everything!! 3 waitresses and about 20 guest sitting out front. Having to find a waitress to take our order was disappointing. Even after that she didn't really check on us. This place has great potential as long as the service kicks it up a notch or two. I live in California and enjoy coming home to visit. Really want to love this place. We have given it a few chances thinking they just needed to workout some kinks, but every time the service is *horrible*. Yesterday we were seated for 20 minutes and were never even acknowledged (and they were NOT busy with less than 10 cars in the parking lot) so we just ended up leaving.
