First time customer and probably last at least if we're talking about food. Drinks weren't anything special. Just regular drinks with. Nothing to write home for. But it seems like it could be a good time during an event. But the food was a 2/5. I ordered a sandwich and the bread was falling apart as I ate it. The meat was falling out and it was thick and dense. Was probably week old bread to be honest. Not a fan and definitely not worth the high price tag.

We Love Molly's. My husband brought me for Mother's day and their brunch is AMAZING. I had the Breafast Tacos and my husband had the Crab Cake Benedict. We also had the Cajun deep fried deviled eggs. A MUST! We sat outside which is always so nice and the ambiance is fun and inviting. Our server was amazing. She had great recommendations, was attentive and never missed a beat!!

This place is a great spot to come hang out on a patio. We brought dogs with us and they were very accommodating with water bowls. The pups had a fun time chilling outside while we got a bucket of high noons and some lunch. For the food we got two specials, the mollys sandwich, which was a burger, and the shrimp tacos. I was very pleasantly surprised by the shrimp tacos! The burger was also good, needed a little more acidity like a tomato, onion, or something? But still good. The service was slower because it was busy, and outside on the patio you order from the bar. The bartenders were great and efficient, the person who brought us our food was kind and attentive. Overall this was a fun time and a great place full of energy and good vibes !!

Came for the Christmas bar the Monday of Christmas, we had reservations but honestly didn't need them. The decor and music was great, we didn't eat but the food smelled GREAT! We came to grab drinks and they didn't disappoint, i had the grasshopper which was delicious, along with the Christmas shots.

Molly's is such a gem! My hubby and I brought our pup here to sit on the patio and enjoy some drinks and apps! I LOVED the oyster happy hour where it was $1 or $2 per oyster!! My hubby loved the gator rangoons. 10/10 recommend! The ambience and area was so cute FYI- they do have a ton of dog bowls for water around!

A fun time was had by all! I met up with some of my former coworkers for Molly's happy hour (which I just found out about) and I was pretty impressed. They got there before me and saved a table. I was parched and hungry so I went for my usual (grape and sprite). As for food, I got a side order of tots and Brussel sprouts. While not pictured, my drink came in this really cool cup that changes colors. After what seemed like a total of four minutes flat, my food arrived. Talk about getting more than what you bargained for! The "sides" were HUGE. It's funny because all the people that weren't hungry all of a sudden became hungry. The tots were crispy with a light dusting of salt. While the Brussel sprouts were good, some more glaze would have made them even better. One of the things I've always loved about this place is the space, especially on the patio. The drinks never disappoint and the food wasn't bad either. I can't wait to come back when later in the summer.

The food was not bad, I ordered as an appetizer chicken bites they came to the table a little on the crispy side, I did let the waitress know and she had the cook to remake them, they were pretty delightful. My main meal a chicken sandwhich and tater tots were okay. The service was good it was not a wait to be seated. The waitress allowed us a few minutes to look over the menu and she came back in a timely manner to see if we were ready to order. The ambiance was pretty chill, it was not crowded at all when we entered the restaurant but about a half hour later the place became crowded. I could tell that Molly's was the place to be on a Friday night.

Molly's in Soulard is probably one of my favorite places to experience brunch in the city. The food is amazing, the service is always so friendly and fun, and the overall ambience for patio season just really hits different during the spring time.

We went to Molly's the other evening to sample some food and take their shuttle to the stadium for a Cardinals game. The food was really good. The bartenders were friendly. My only complaint is that the drinks were small and the shuttle situation was a little bit disorganized because they do not hand out bracelets, but rather tickets instead which some patrons did not know.

Bar area

We ate at the bar area and loved the open air ambiance! We got brunch and the highlight was the potatoes!

The gumbo was okay. Not that much flavor in the broth, rice, or sausage. The shrimp was tasty. We had a dog with us, so we had to be outside. We had to order from the bar, and they brought the food to the table. The vibe was very casual. I'd come back for drinks, not so much the food.

Molly's was a short walk from our Airbnb and in such a fun, historic neighborhood of St. Louis. Their outdoor patio area was HUGE. Definitely a great place to go when the weather is nice so you can sit outside and enjoy a drink. They had a large drink selection and several bar areas. The food was great too! Lots of New Orleans inspired dishes. I was very happy with the food and our service was quick (we were there early and it wasn't very busy). Reasonable prices too. Check it out if you're in the Soulard neighborhood!

It was pretty empty when I came in and I had my pick of bar seats. I loved the rustic decor with the wood of the bar and exposed brick on the wall with a lot of natural light. I was able to try a few beers before picking one and the bartender was helpful in selecting one I'd like. A plus to me that they brew their own beer in house. If you're a beer drinker I definitely recommend coming in for one. For food I ordered a cup of Mac & cheese and later the porchetta louie. Mac & cheese was just ok I personally think since it's noodles with a liquid sauce vs baked serving it in more of a shallow bowl would be better as the sauce pools in the bottom and the cup is too small to stir the noodles. Also using a smaller noodle would help with this as it kind of felt like I was just eating noodles. The porchetta louie was GOOD STUFF, I recommend! I do wish there was more pork to the sandwich because the cheesiness of it was a little overwhelming but the kale and peppers perfectly compliment the fatty of the pork and the richness of the cheese. Will order again! I'd also like to say their house cut chips are the real deal! So addicting! Perfectly crispy and salted and a great portion. Overall a great experience. The bartender was lovely, beer was great, the service and kitchen was efficient, and the food was great. I'll definitely bring some friends and come back again

British Bar INSIDE a "British designed hotel", so I had my hopes probably heightened more that it should have with my previous British bar results. I went in thinking British craziness and got a "Edgar Allen Poe" feel... But I'm going to say this was NOT what I was expecting. First and foremost, your eyes are going to need adjusting. Plain and simple, it felt more like a dark ... room? (Part of the problem I think is that as it was already June, you can forget using the fireplace to lighten the room up) so it felt.. "Small", and I"m going to feel weird saying this... "Romantic Horrorfest". Wait, before you go "wha??", this isnt' necessarily a bad thing. The Taxidermy , the photos on the wall. the fireplace. the VERY (and I mean VERY) dim lighting... The limited seating on the main floor, the one door in and out it had a "wooden cabin feel".. Yes, if you had a wonderful romantic film and it was suddenly invaded by some monster villain... This where it would take place and it would be perfect. (See I can find positive things to say about things i wasn't looking for) As for the service, apparently (going back to the Romantic filmfest), I was struggling to get any attention for the bartendress, cause I guess I was solo'ing by myself, and because of how I wasn't able to get the bartendress attention... I kinda felt like an unwanted customer in a place more for couples or friends getting together which had me leaving shortly thereafter, so no real food score (although I will say, much like Oh London ,the menu wasn't really much to work through...), Anyway, no TV's, no world cup game on the air.. just like I said a vibe of a cabin in a "romantic movie, where the monsters lurk". And Apologies for some of the iffy pictures, it just didn't feel right using a flash on the camera in such a secluded locale) and like I said, it wasnt' what I was expecting (rowdy British fans watching the local club or something), but there's something about it that even i have to admit, would make this location a nice "date night" or "out with friends' location, more so than just a single person looking for a nightcap. (And Maybe there really is a monster hiding in the fireplace, to keep the "Horror" feel going?? :)

Can you get more St. Louis than an Irish Bar located in the Soulard area of St. Louis? I guess I…read moreshould say pub. I told my son I have never been here in my life. I ordered their pork chop, which came with asparagus and layered potatoes. The pork chop was served with a chutney sauce made from apricot, black, and golden raisins. This pork chop is somewhat unique to St. Louis; it's a huge bone-in chop, nothing in Naples, FL can compare. My chop was cooked perfectly. Now, as to never being here, I am exiting the building. There is a small dining area with an Irish band playing. I turned to my son and said I had been here before, pointed to the table I sat at, and told him I had Irish stew. It was in my drinking days, and I am sure I sang all the tunes with the band.

But guess what we enjoyed our table conversations while the drinks were routinely refreshed and when the food arrived it was perfect. While "just basic bar sandwiches and a burger " everything was prepared as ordered. The appropriate temps. Mostly importantly it was just good tasting. Hats off to the cooks and the service providers! Impressive

Morrison's Irish Pub - Alton, IL…read more We finally stopped into Morrison's and it delivered that cozy, old-world Irish pub charm you want when you walk through those doors. I had the Irish cheese sandwich, Justin went with the corned beef -- and both were genuinely good. Comforting, hearty, and exactly what you hope for in a pub meal. Now... the kitchen was moving a bit slow this visit. Was it noticeable? Yes. Was it worth the wait? Also yes. Because Sam -- the female bartender -- absolutely made the experience. Fun, engaging, and the kind of personality that makes you feel like you're already a regular even if it's your first visit. That kind of service turns a "slow day" into a good memory. The menu is packed with authentic Irish favorites, and honestly, next time we're absolutely going to lean fully into the classics -- because this feels like a place that does traditional comfort food right. One small wish: I really wish they made their own chips. The bagged chips were a little lackluster and felt like a missed opportunity next to an otherwise hearty, made-with-care menu. Overall: a great spot that was likely just having an off day -- and still absolutely worth your time. Don't leave without ordering the pear cider. It is absolutely fabulous. Bright, crisp, lightly sweet, and dangerously drinkable. We'll be back -- and we're coming hungry.

The bar itself is unpretentious and welcomes everyone. While I was dining at the bar, the rest of the diners were a widely diverse mixture. Witnessing such a vast mixture of people, adds a positive twist to the vibe of the bar. The menu is simple. They focus on what they do best and that's why their smash burger is one of the best. Being a firecracker myself, I ordered the Firecracker Smashburger. It's a single patty, with Pepper Jack Cheese, Tomato-Onion-Jalapeno Relish, Drizzled with a Tangy Fire Ranch and served on a Martin's Potato Roll. The burger was juicy and had those crispy edges that a smash burger is known for. My favorite cheese is Pepper Jack, so that was a big plus for me. The relish added that extra kick that made it a true, Firecracker. I can't enjoy a burger without fries and Jack offers long skinny fries. They had a crispy shell and a soft hot inside. They were simply seasoned with just the right amount of salt. I was impressed that the ketchup was 100% Natural. That gets a big thumbs up. When enjoying a burger and fries, a nice cold beer is always the adult beverage of choice. JN offers a small variety of craft beers on draft and three popular Anheuser-Busch products. I enjoyed a Gumballhead from 3 Floyds Brewing. An American Pale Wheat is a perfect lunchtime beer. The bartenders are personable and offer warm service. I'm definitely coming back the next time I crave a smashburger.
