I bought a Specialized hybrid bike here that I found out later was missing a headset bearing and spacers. Steven was super nice and offered to let me return the bike or work with me on replacing the necessary parts. I ended up getting it fixed and Steven was super helpful with reimbursing me for some of the cost. Overall I feel like I got something that's going to make my life better and, even though the process was a bit tedious, I was glad Steven was so helpful in resolving it. read more

This place was highly recommended by Marina loan and am super disappointed. They are so rude. This is only the second time I've taken a loan and it was the complete opposite experience than Santa Monica loan who are very friendly and easy to deal with. I spoke with a gentleman who said he would try to get my necklace back after I was one week late with my repayment plans and when I called to follow up I spoke with a super rude guy who said they melted my necklace and that they don't need to call me back. I mean why are they behaving like that? Someone said they will call me back and this rude guy starts yelling at me and saying they that don't have to do that. Maybe, that's true, but common courtesy says otherwise.I will go back to Marina Loan and relay my experience and tell them to never recommend these people again. This place is legit! For a few days we needed to do a little juggling (we do photography and a client paid us late so we had to get a small loan on a camera for a day, edit on the MacBook, then the next day swap the MacBook for the camera for another shoot, then the next day go get the MacBook out) LMAO But these guys (ALL OF THEM) made the whole thing so easy, charged us practically nothing, and were real and genuine people. I'm a firm believer in supporting local business and these guys are top notch and do very honest and good Business!!! Cruel and crap attitude. We came by here 2 weeks ago to look for items that we could save money on. Most items are priced high and hey don't negotiate. While I was there customer walks in, completely looked like he just burglarized a home and came to sell all the stolen goods. Owners were quite excited to buy them at any price. DANGEROUS!!!!‼ My boyfriend and I came in here just bc I wanted to do some window shopping and my boy friend tapped on the glass casing... idk to mindlessly point out a watch or something... and one of the workers came out of no where and ran us out of the shop threatin to hurt us even kill us. In the pawnshop industry there are no shortages of shady businesses and untrustworthy people. One Stop Pawn is not one of these places. I went in today to seek some advice and to potentially sell a piece of jewelry and I can say with all certainty that the guys at One Stop Pawn gave me honest, straightforward, and trustworthy advice. In the end, I did not sell them the jewelry; but they helped me come up with a plan to maximize my potential profit from this piece of jewelry. They didn't have to do that, and indeed they could have tried to lowball me and then turn around and flip the piece for a profit. The other positive reviews have to be fake or by the owner's family but, One Stop is by far and away the worst pawn shop in LA. The owner is rude and literally dumb. He's a pompous idiot who has wasted my time not once but twice. He told me that he accepted movie posters and would love to see what I have. I get there and all of a sudden he has no interest in the posters (which were original Midnight Cowboy, Grease and Hitchcock's Birds and are worth $1,000's). I left a negative review on Google as well about 10 minutes ago and now the owner has called me over 6 times about it cursing at me and outright harassing me. Avoid this place at all costs. Nice place, great selection of miscellaneous stuff. I usually don't walk into pawn shops. This time my friend Danny (yes... that Danny...) dragged me there. He always looks for "steals". The owner was kind enough to give him a good price on a great sounding Hohner Harmonica, and threw in a miniature key-chain harmonica as well. I'm sure it will serve him nicely. Us bluegrass-lovin' fools are an awfully-thin crowd in Los Angeles, so imagine my swell of excitement when my eyes met a Jay Turser JT900 Resonator guitar while browsing at this pawn shop this past Sunday! Malik, who was running the shop, was patient with me and he happily pulled down guitar after guitar for me to play on before I saw the Turser. He didn't skip a beat answering any of my questions, and he was also willing to work with me on the price. I was in love with this guitar, but it was a big purchase for me, so I needed to take a day to think on it. Malik was great and I did not feel pressured to purchase at all. No mind games or haggling. When I came in today, Malik & Steven set me up with an amp to test the guitar, and I was sold. Steven really worked with me on the final price, and he hooked me up with a sturdy case. I am thrilled to say that I purchased this tough-to-find resonator guitar in excellent condition (+ a free soft case, which was beautiful and very well made) for a very competitive price. It's also worth mentioning that I am a wheelchair user, my needs were accommodated with ease and I felt welcomed. Thank you so much One Stop! Didn't want to spend a pile on new stuff so I checked a couple pawn shops. The first two had a skimpy selection of trashed tools. I thought I'd try one more. LIARS and SCAMMERS. They will sell you BROKEN equipment and REFUSE the return 24 hours later. Do not trust them. They will play good cop bad cop, but ultimately BAD COP. They will STEAL your money. They are the WORST. *UPDATE* Owner response below is another lie. The equipment was not dirty because it was never used, it was broken. When we purchased machine we didn't have oil with us to start it up. The salesman promised we could return it if it didn't work. We called the next day, they wouldn't accept the call. So we kept calling and went to the store. The salesman tried to allow us the return, then the owner jumped in. We told him if he could get the machine started we would keep it. He refused and didn't care. And he YELLED at his employee for stating they had a return policy. I see these other reviews and it seems like a totally different store.
