Just took in a huge construction bag of crushed aluminum cans with a crusher, saved for two years. It was a good weight at least 20 to 25 lbs. the guy puts it on the scales, doesn't show it to me, I also had a big bag of crushed plastic bottles, he gives me $27 and I looked at him like , ok that's good for the aluminum he says that's for both. Told him when I was taking it to Katella & beach I would get a lot more. I'm done with this guy, make sure you check the weight of everything you bring I . That wasn't right. It is much cleaner than the previous company. But, they always short you money. This is frustrating. Dishonest employees that argue with you when you ask to be paid the actual amount on the receipt that you sign for. Lazy employees as well. read more

Someone mentioned someone's name regarding this recycling center is being "a wonderful place to come" seriously? Bringing seven bottles that are worth $.10 each, and check to see what you get for those 10 bottles. I counted mine before I went in, and I got a little less than 2/3 of what they were valued out. I've always been nice and I've always tipped them and have always been treated rudely or abruptly or whatever. Not sure what that reason is especially when I hear Kevin is so "nice"? Went from a two star to one star because nothing has changed over the last few times I've been there. In some ways, it actually got worse. One time I went and they closed "early" some of us that they just took a break but they never came back. Waited for 40 minutes for it to open at 9 o'clock and then he was crabby at the people standing there rather than taking responsibility and apologizing. Not one word of apology just extremely rude directions to people not "standing in the right place" wherever that was supposed to be. I got lucky because I was "standing in the right place" ... well sort of... They moved the weighing station to a different space as soon as I had everything dragged to where he set it up. I kept smiling but did tnotenjoy this experience. Yes, most of the other places are closed. The places behind the grocery stores were doing it the way the state of California had stated. You're supposed to get the value of exactly what's on the can or the plastic. You can't compete with people who are doing it "differently". Most people don't seem to care how much they get back for their bottles and cans, because now they don't have to count" ... ..... Well, I see that Art left me a message asking me to call him if I had any concerns, I called him as soon as I saw it just before 4 PM and the box was completely full. ‍ read more

It's very clean and well organized here. The guy who works here, Kevin, is very quick and helpful. The service is fast and it doesn't smell horrible. The containers are orange mesh and it's very clean. Grey bins are for bottles. Definitely been exclusively coming here to recycle for a few years now. read more

To the ridiculous comments below me- I've worked customer service for too many years and have been at the end of a ridiculous amount of irrationally upset customers. Here's a secret: Sometimes employees can make mistakes and they aren't purposefully trying to swindle you out of your fortune I used two different recycling centers before I found this one. The first I had been going to for years and knew all the guys but they never had any sort of customer service (and I never expected them too, cuz duh they work with people's trash all day in a metal bucket that smells like sewage ). When they closed down I moved to a recommended spot that wasn't bad except their parking lot was always covered in glass shards and it was kind of out of my way. Someone said this place opened up/reopened (don't remember any backstory) and I figured since it's close I'd give it a try. The guys here genuinely act like their is a customer service standard in place. I don't really expect someone hauling my smelly bottles around to have a full conversation with me, but I appreciate the effort cuz I have to do the same thing at my job. The location is clean (which I assume is because they are still newer and Costco keeps them in ). It's easier if you take the side entrance by the gas station (off Walker) than fighting your way through the carts and cars in the front lot. Just go, don't be a dick, and get that money you cheap a**hole. read more

Huge thanks to Kevin and Nate for their awesome service today 10/28/22. Best recycling center I've been to in the area. Got there nearly at closing time and they were already cleaning up so I accepted that I was too late and was just going to come back the next day. BUT they noticed me and approached me saying they could still take it. They helped me unload my car (had the whole back of my minivan filled) as well as sort one bag that was slightly mixed. All my past experiences of recycling, the workers leave everything up to you and judge you immensely if you sort on the spot. The silver lining of all the recycling centers near my house closing down is that I was able to find this gem of a spot. Even if something closer opens up again, will definitely be coming here for all my recycling needs. read more

I haven't gone to them in a while and was worried that they moved elsewhere but Costco actually just moved them to the back which makes it a little harder to find them, but even though they moved location, the service is still just as great. Kevin and Nate were amazing workers and were attentive to all their customers. Overall great place to recycle your bottles and cans! read more

I dont know if the owner knows this or not but kevin is ALWAYS late. Ive gone different days of the week always before opening and hes at least 5 to 10 mins late every single time. Id hate to see someone lose a job but he needs to get there early. Hell when i rode the bus to work i was 1 hour early and the ride was almost 2 hours, all within the city of anahiem. read more
